Really interesting to follow this suspension story, right from the start. Kudos for having the courage to pull the shocks apart and re-valve. I would have definitely fucked that job up 😊
It was a pain for me to set up my RC crawler suspension with lots of trial and error. The shocks are very similar to yours as well in RC. But it's waaay more work that you have to do, props
Good job, made a difference, after rear sway bar, you are OK! This build needs rear fenders, get the ones, Jeep has, they look very similar with your front ones ! Also, did you cam your LS1, sounds great !=)
I don't know anything about suspension, but judging by the video. My opinion is that the springs are too soft. Looking at the front, it looks like it almost wants to hang out around the bump stops. But again, I don't know lol
Question 🙋 I have a 96 Tacoma can u help with what tipe or brand on a small lift kit because it has one right now but the truck dance alots or shake I want it lift but no crazy lift 2 or 3 inches thanks you I like u content
From working on dirt bikes, I bet you could run thicker shock oil to get it a little more stiff if you wanted.
Just noticed when you were backing out, your driver side reverse light is not working
Also drivers tail light.
That's RAD man
Im shocked it turned out ok 😂
Great job as always Austin

If you are only putting a rear sway bar i would recommed put in front of the rear axle and the links in the arms. You will get better results.
That's not just an old trail rig fastest fj40 that's the best trail rig ever built and yours is badass looking
@@moneysaversilver thanks man!
Slowly, you're getting there Austin... Kudos!
EDIT: I actually have never seen shocks undergoing a service/adjustment, what a world.

Shocks valving is fun stuff..

Absolute beautiful to see, how mutch love and knowledge there is in this shop. Greedings from Austria!
Awesome awesome fj, congratulations, it's turning out great, greetings from here in Tijuana, Mexico, you do a good job on that fj👍😎
Check Rock Jock swaybar kits. They might have one to fit you front. You will want a disconnect kit as well
That thing is rad bro, spectacular work 🤘😎
@@CTMadModz thank you man!

So much work! But in the end it all seemed to be worth it.

You got brake light that doesn't work properly
the driver`s side
I noticed that too. Probably just some minor wiring issue
Que vontade de entender o que você falou
Drivers side brake light not working. You likely saw that in editing, but fyi
My Netflix 😊
One of your back lights is out man
Having that big of a gap between upper and lower springs is causing some of that. Upper is too soft
FJ40👍🇺🇸🇺🇸
😎👍🏻🔥💯🤘🏻🍻
I would do a sway bar on the front. You can alway unlink it if you feel it’s necessary in the rocks.

Your rear left brake light is out...
@@robertrandall1233 yup the temporary ground fell off 😂
Austin purposely removed the bulb from his tail light to generate comments to feed the YT algorithm 😂
Haha too bad its a sealed LED! My ground came off
