Am I the only one who thinks this was actually a really good ac game? I really enjoyed playing it. The change of scenery was refreshing, the soundtrack was amazing and the characters were fun. I understand Unity was one of the reasons this didn't sell well but this felt like a huge improvement. I dunno. Maybe it's just me Edit: Jack The Ripper is hands down the best ac dlc out there

Completly agree. Frye twins, especially Jacob is such a freaking anti-hero/great character to play - like "dont think, act" theme is such a cool thing to refresh whole series when even ac4/3/rouge characters had their own "assassin/templair" code to follow. He just used his instinct to make moves and(overall) he's so awesome.

I actually skipped this one for many years and after trying Origins and not liking it as much I finally decided to get Syndicate and yeah you're right. It's the last one that felt like the old games. Same with Black OPs II in 2012

The transition from the grapple hook's spinning wheel, to the wheel of a locomotive is enough to make me buy this game! Absolutely amazing scene! I love such mechanical transitions in movies, games, everything!

Progga Binita There's not a given mission in which it happens, but I run around with a full group of Rooks all the time, and I get myself into some situations where stuff like this happens.
Progga Binita you don't need to be a level but after you take over the first Borough you can keep track of a train which travels all over London so you know where it is when you need it
Just finished it with the DLC, it is one of the best AC Games. Cinematic Story telling + cinematic missions, no grinding, good Gameplay, funny Characters, smooth free roam climing + super cool zippline gadget, many stealthy options, many different finisher moves + 4 finisher at once (i love it). I realy Hope that AC Vallhala is gone be more like this AC and Unity and i would love to see actuall Gameplay from Vallhala.
Honestly ubisoft take your fucking time its only been a year since unity (which was bit of a disapointment). Polish the game up a bit, make it good and worth playing. Make it run flawlessly from pc to xbox, i'd rather have ubisoft spend a couple years making a good AC than them making it in a year and turn out shit. Just please make syndicate a good fucking game.

I have so much love for AC after becoming a fan last year, and have played my way up to (currently) Rogue, and probably 85% of the time, I've had a really good time playing them! Until they come around and say something like an Assassin cell infiltrated Abstergo/Ubisoft and has been the one releasing AC games, I find the whole modern day plot connections really weak and full of BS. Ikr the gameplay was way better than unity just the parkour was same..but the most amazing part is the story and the british setting of the game...but i preferred jacob over evie..jacob was strong in combats and a total badass altogether
The fact that this game is so much more refined and polished now in 2023 tells you how much the developers love the games they create, it really aged like a fine wine.

It's about hand to hand combat, stealth, with limited, primal ranged weaponry such as throwing knifes, bows, and one shot guns. This is the Assassins Creed game that really got me into the series. Black flag is fun and repeatable but this game I spend hours running around just looking for blighters in the streets. I find a lot of things I missed as well when walking around the city and exploring places that you just can't see/find from rooftops.
It's not my favourite. I think this game would have been better as an animated Netflix TV series AC Valhalla, Black Flag and Unity were better in my opinion

unity too, its actually my best assassins creed game yet (in term of gameplay), i recommend that you give it a shot.
I wouldn't call it the best in terms of gameplay, but it does have fun setting and characters. My favourite actually, colorful and vibrant.

Progga Binita you don't need to be a level but after you take over the first Borough you can keep track of a train which travels all over London so you know where it is when you need it
Just finished it with the DLC, it is one of the best AC Games. Cinematic Story telling + cinematic missions, no grinding, good Gameplay, funny Characters, smooth free roam climing + super cool zippline gadget, many stealthy options, many different finisher moves + 4 finisher at once (i love it). I realy Hope that AC Vallhala is gone be more like this AC and Unity and i would love to see actuall Gameplay from Vallhala.
Honestly ubisoft take your fucking time its only been a year since unity (which was bit of a disapointment). Polish the game up a bit, make it good and worth playing. Make it run flawlessly from pc to xbox, i'd rather have ubisoft spend a couple years making a good AC than them making it in a year and turn out shit. Just please make syndicate a good fucking game.

U do realize that you need a 1080 graphics card to run this type of game in such a map with that quality on at most 30 fps

Who gave you the right to say such a thing? How about showing some fucking respect towards this company? Alright I'll be honest, they're no Nintendo, but they're still pretty damn good. The AC franchise, as a whole, in my opinion, is good. Sure there are a few games that people weren't happy with (mostly Unity I believe, though I have still yet to play that), but the games aren't terrible.
I have so much love for AC after becoming a fan last year, and have played my way up to (currently) Rogue, and probably 85% of the time, I've had a really good time playing them! I also love the story.
In all, I loved the trailer, and I can't wait to play it.

Ikr the gameplay was way better than unity just the parkour was same..but the most amazing part is the story and the british setting of the game...but i preferred jacob over evie..jacob was strong in combats and a total badass altogether
I liked ACS (3rd or 4th maybe), but this was not the best game in the series (in my opinion), that title goes to AC2 (which was a masterpiece).

The fact that this game is so much more refined and polished now in 2023 tells you how much the developers love the games they create, it really aged like a fine wine.

It's about hand to hand combat, stealth, with limited, primal ranged weaponry such as throwing knifes, bows, and one shot guns. I really hate the idea of AC having the feel of a new red dead redemption( even though that game is awesome as fuck).

This is the Assassins Creed game that really got me into the series. Black flag is fun and repeatable but this game I spend hours running around just looking for blighters in the streets. I find a lot of things I missed as well when walking around the city and exploring places that you just can't see/find from rooftops.
Obviously this is the best assassin's creed trailer for my opinion.
