Absolutely stunning as always, Louise. If you and Marie-Louise did a collaboration, you'd be world famous. When I usually get bored, I watch your graceful painting videos, and listen to your sweet sounding voice.
Awe Byron, 😘you really do say the sweetest things. I’m so glad you enjoy my videos and my voice. I appreciate you supporting me by watching and listening to my channel.😘🧡🧡🧡
This is beautiful, Louise. I'm glad you ended up with some negative space and the composition turned out wonderfully. The glitter is a very nice touch!!
Thank you so much, dearest Nanete, and this weekend at the Fluid art experience people were able to see where my art is being sold, and I got lots of great comments and sold many pieces!
Louise, I love this Lazy Susan very much, but in the end you sure did kick it up a big notch by adding the glitter!! I was very impressed with this little additive that gave it so much more color and boldness to the whole piece 🤗☺ You always impress me with the little additives you just come by, to make something even more beautiful 😉 Great artwork 🤩
Thank you so much, 😘Jude, it really is amazing. What little changes can do to have a big impact on your pieces. I’m glad you enjoyed this and the little tips I provide.
This is beautiful Louise. I'm queen of putting too much paint and never getting it in the middle. The glitter made the piece go up to another level. Love it. ❤❤❤
Hi Louise, I love this color combination it's gorgeous. You're such a talented artist, and your tutorials are extremely helpful. I love how your lazy susan turned out it's beautiful. ❤❤❤
"Brill Cream, a little dab will do yah! They'll love to get there fingers through your hair!" "And that folks was a word from our sponsors." I was wondering, what would happen with a black pillow, and bright colors that stand out against the black. It would have a super nova, outer space look to it. The glitter in the resin would make it look like stars in the foreground.
Thank you so much, Ozwald and honestly, you have a lot of great ideas and suggestions. And yes, a little dab ‘il do ya, exactly you got the right reference. Your comments are always so fun to read. I look forward to them every time. Thank you so much for all your support.😘😘😘
Louise! I love your videos and your work. How do you store your Lazy Susans before delivering or selling? I would love a video on how you box them or what you do?
Thank you so much,😘 and yes, I always varnish the wood to seal it first. I have a full complete tutorial and video 312 that shows me doing this, with everything else to include resin. If you want to take a look.ruclips.net/video/My7Tbj_D9U4/видео.htmlsi=qf5Zif9-_YpHUbj6
Love your lazy susans. They all look stunning. How many mils of resin do you allocate for one please. Only been doing coasters so far and work on your guide of 10mils per coaster. I do have to resin twice as I get shrinkage whatever I do. Have followed all the advise and even emailed TEExpert who make the resin and I still get the problem. Its a shame as its costly and time consuming. Thank you.
Hi Elizabeth, thank you. You need to figure out what works for you in terms of your resin mileage. I have bumped up my resin on my coasters a tad since I’d mentioned 10 mil a while ago. I can do a personal video to show you what I do, but I had to arrive at this through trial and error. It also depends on which resin you are using and how you are using it. I think there’s more to it than just a simple use-this-much answer. Let me know if you would like me to do more for you with this. I use the KS resin which I have listed in my description and I have a discount code for that particular product as well. I find the KS resin works best for me.
@@LouiseMcKayArt thank you for your reply. I think as you say a lot of trail and error. I have done the Shelee course which was fab and noticed even she says that she resins twice. You make it look so easy but we don’t see behind the scenes the hours you have put in over the years. The same with Lisa Marvin. I guess if it was all so easy and you did this, this and this and it turned out perfect it would be boring!!! I will look into KS resin but not so easy to get in the UK. Continue the good work. Love your videos. How much do you charge for your personal videos?
@@ElizabethPress-o6t hi Elizabeth, a personalized tutorial would be geared exactly toward answering your specific questions in a up-close show and tell format. The charge would be anywhere from $30-$50 depending on the level of detail my answers need to go. The tutorial would be personalized exactly to you and you would access it through RUclips and it would be yours alone to view over and over again for reference. You’ve seen my regular videos, the tips provide, magnify that to your specific needs!
Hello Nelson, the base or “pillow” is an enamel house paint, Glidden 6011N I also use PPG multi pro 47-3110. I don’t know if if you have these products where you are, but that’s what I use.
Hi Debbie, yes that is the resin I use and if you look in the description, I have a coupon code for 10% off. I barely do any canvas art but when I have, I’ve used the same.
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial, please 🔔subscribe if you’d like to see more functional art creations!

Gorgeous piece of art Louise, i really like that earthy color pallette. You make it look so easy. Love your lazy susans

Are you painting the rotator itself? The spinner?
