I listen to the audio version of the show, but I came here just to add that. There was that weird period where he was wearing red pads and biker shorts, and unfortunately that's what Hasbro based the figure on.
I'm surprised there are no von erich figures currently with any of these independent companies I would def suggest David Kevin and Kerry von Erich for big rubber guys or major bendies

For the Big Rubber Guys line make ALL the Wrestlers available from 84 to 89. I think many collectors would love to have LJN figs but they are unaffordable in mint conditions. Continue making them in their most iconic attires...Ric Flair in trunks with a soft goods robe possible ?

The card issue is part of the "Gray Market" retail world. It happens all the time especially with brand name items. Think wholesalers that sell Levi Jeans. They dont buy from the manufacturer they buy a container from some person that bought them from somewhere.

Broski is right. It’s illegal to use a persons likeness for commercial purposes. Even if you have a drawing or painting commissioned for the card.
The fact they have been doing it for years just means that nobody has sued them (or they have settled with anyone who made an issue of it after the fact). It doesn’t prove any of it is legal.
From a business perspective, if they found that people don’t notice/care/sue when this happens, they can keep doing it. As long as they make more money from the cards that lawsuits/settlements cost them, it’s a viable business strategy. It’s scummy, and unethical, but it’s not something where the anyone will come and shut them down to actually stop it from happening.
You’ll notice the card doesn’t say “The Rock” because Leaf knows WWE would sue in a second.
