Wow! Your editing is so professional and your explanation of these pads is fantastic. Keep up the great work!

Thanks! Perhaps someday I'll have thousands! I'm grateful for all 119 of my subs!
These videos are a vibe of their own
Woohoo! Thanks! I'mma keep trying to bring the vibe!
awesome video keep up the great work!
Thanks! 🥰
That intro makes me want to go get coffee!
That's literally what I do every. single. day. 🤣
I love this guys editing. But on the topic of the pad. I’ve had mine for almost 3 years and it’s still in great condition (and the stick saving rims saved me money) but the shipping took two weeks to get to the uk which is good compared to xymox. I had another prologix pad 6 years ago and I sold it. The products are worth the money. Great video
Awesome! Thanks for the support! I really enjoy this pad, and I've heard horror stories about xymox. Lol, needless to say, I'll probably never get to review a xymox. 🤣
@@paddric_ryanit’s true, I ordered mine 5 years ago and it never came.
@@SomeRandomPunk that is absolutely insane. I can't believe they're still in "business".
@@paddric_ryantbh no one will buy anything from them anymore knowing their sketchy and overall controversial past. They have scammed so many people and people have lost trust in them.
@@SomeRandomPunk 10000000000% it's a shame because their products look really compelling.
NICE. 😊
15:50 "I don't feel as much of the wood as I think I would considering the thickness of this rubber" That's what she said!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Good catch!!
Have you ever seen a 3S drumstick? Lol!
@@thomashelm6931 🤣🤣 Yes, yes. I don't think I've ever owned a pair though.
@@paddric_ryan and young, teenage minds, phallic might be a description. Admittedly, off topic.
@@thomashelm6931 🤣🤣 quite!
Is the midnight vortex the same thing? I tried looking for the multi-color one but could not find it. Thank you so much!
I'm actually not sure. The midnight one just came out. I'd be really interested to see if there's a difference. I really like this multicolor one. Nothing else looks like it!
"Just the right amount of squish". This should be on every package of Prologix Pads.
🤣🤣 I really do like this pad. I keep coming back to it! It's on my stand right now, actually.
@@paddric_ryan MY go to for videos recently is either the Invader V3 with laminate or one of my Ram Pads. I ordered a Drumslinger 13 inch Corps Pad with a Tendura head last Friday. Yes, a Tendura head. Not produced anymore, but Bill at Drumslinger bought some and stocked so he'd have them just in case. He said that the Tendura would be the best head for shooting videos. I wanted a higher pitched head and a lot of response. Not a lot of squish with those pads I imagine. So you marched Phantom '03? I marched Spirit 1980 under Tom Float. Fun times! My teacher back in the day wanted me to march Phantom after I marched Spirit but Spirit was a notch above Phantom back in the day (1980) with Float being there and all, so I did not. Would have loved to march Phantom under Marty Hurley. If I had it to do again I probably would have done
that just to get the experience of marching under Hurley, although the drumming philosophies were
diametrically opposed. Hurley taught a slurred interp and Float was all about "correct interp. Memories.
Oh, I remember tendura heads! Didn't they used to come with Premier drums?
Yep, I marched with Phantom in 2003 and 2004. Really, I was only there because I was following Paul Rennick from 2002 Carolina Crown. I was constantly drumming with Paul because I was at UNT.. so it made sense for me to follow him. I'm grateful because 2003 was a magical show!
Rennick and Float were good friends and worked together a lot, so you and I probably share a lot of ideology!
@@paddric_ryan I think the Tenduras were installed on Premiers. I'm taking Bill's word that the Tendura will produce a
higher pitch on the Drumslinger. I think Float and Rennick were buddies when Tom went to Concord. A lot of guys left
Atlanta with Float and played snare in his first BD line. I attended college with several of the guys who left and they
actually quit college altogether to drive to the west coast and march BD. My parents would have killed me if I would
have quit college to march another year at BD. Graduated and became a band director. Forty years later I'm still teaching
young musicians. Memories.
Impressed with your history with Paul Rennick. Legendary guy with a few Sanford awards. I digress..
I've never played on Kevlar heads, I'm that old ( marched in the mid 1960s)
It seems that "today's" snares offer a tremendous amount of rebound, in part, due to the high tension.
Would you recommend any of these two to replicate the "effect"?
We marched with 3S sticks. Are they still used? Lol!
