Thank you for this, you have so much knowledge that all should learn from and that’s why trading is profitable when you got good guidance, luckily I found one here
And to put beginners into considerations prop firms also profits from them. That’s why I’m impressed seeing people’s validations on theresa option system. nothing has come close to the sheer clarity, depth, and precision of her insights
But if the stock keeps going down, the long option loses its value and you may be forced to sell it for a loss or it would expire worthless. In theory, stock shares can be held as long as needed.
You can roll the strike down for a lot less than the difference in strikes. Also you can roll out another year, for a cost. These costs can be more than covered by selling OTM short strikes weekly.
Is there any significance to buying the June leap options? I assume there is a higher probability of closing in the money at this time of year given stocks have generally rallied from February into the spring/early summer.
Just started reading your book Bella "One Good Trade".. good stuff and thoroughly entertaining. A lot of things to soothe the soul and boost the confidence of a struggling trader. (About a year and three months into the game now) "The Playbook" is next . I'm dying to put the nicknames in the book with any of the people in these videos. A footnote to this post....I noticed that I read the book in your voice since I've watched so many of the videos ! LOL I wish I was young enough and New York was actually somewhere I was willing to live. I would be getting in line for my chance tomorrow ! If you ever open an office in Raleigh we need to talk.
Thank you💚But it would be great to understand the situation, what to do if you bought LEAP, and the price began to decline and reached our purchased option and even went even lower, and which may not return above our purchased option for a long time
Great strategy that I'm already implementing since even in my short time trading I'm realizing that buying and holding shares requires tying up too much capital. I'm developing a slightly different approach by buying spreads of out of the money long calls. This works well as long as I'm right and the stock is moving in the right direction. The LEAPs give enough time to not get killed by theta and the spread allows me to leg out and take profit as the get stock moves in the money and use the captial for other opportunties or to reload.
@@TheDoughGetta got it! For a while I was doing slightly in the money hoping it would move out and I would get exercised all the time! Notably all the time with oil stocks! So irritating
I am new to the stock market. Every stock that I bought so far, I was out of luck because I bought them when they were expensive. I feel I missed out on all the stock opportunities so far for the tech stocks.I believe having 150K yearly income would be a good investment so I want to plug all my savings into the stock market. I know this sounds a bit dull but I would like to know if I should learn investing or let somebody else (more capable like a FA) do it for me? Please share your thoughts. I am kind of tired of searching for a good stock to buy and losing all the good opportunities
It's always inspiring to hear from a professional trader who has weathered the storm and come out on top When your portfolio turns from green to red, it might be unsettling, but if you have invested in great companies, you should just keep adding to them and stick with your plan.,..🎉🎉
I wholeheartedly concur, which is why I appreciate giving an professionnel trader the power of decision-making. Given their specialized expertise and education, as well as the fact that each and every one of their skills is centered on harnessing risk for its asymmetrical potential and controlling it as a buffer against certain unfavorable developments, it is practically impossible for them to underperform. I have made over 1.5 million dollars working with an investment coach for more than two years.
Buy the ATM June 2025 Netflix call for $12,500. Sell monthly a .20 delta call against it. Put the money not invested in Netflix to buy 100 shares in a money market which will be about $50K. Basically ends up being a free trade even if Netflix falls 25%. If Netflix rockets through a covered call then that’s a big payoff
This is a very unsophisticated strategy called "buy and hold". Simple as that. A matter of fact there was no reason at all to sell the initial long leap if the entire plan was buy and hold.
Can you put the instructions in step by step. Such as step one and step 2 and step 3 and summarise it at the end of the video. I know you guys are good traders but it seems like the content in the video is quite all over the place. Thank you.

Theresa option
Seen some good reviews on her , how do I connect
She’s mostly on telegaram with the name

She is a CFA whose approach combines technical and fundamentally essential analysis, and her system has been the key to my financial success.

there are no free meals... unfortunately, they usually forget to mention the downside of the straties they show...
I think the idea is your LEAP is on a large cap that has a much lower chance of a prolonged nosedive.

Seems you two built a life you don't need a vacation from. Thanks for bringing us along for the journey.

What if you core traded nflx after holding it for a year though? Wouldn't that have better tax benefits?

What is your suggestion if you're long-term bearish on a stock?
Why not sell weekly or monthly calls against the LEAPs and get income while you wait?
How far out the money do you like to go? Ever do at the money in some cases?
Very good question
@@Mfam777Depends on IV but 20-25 Delta to avoid getting exercised.

Which platform you use for trading? Is it trading view?
Can also sell short dated calls to reduce cost basis, and buy 1.2 ratio spreads in front of price for zero risk
Plus the benefit of less time needed for trade management.

Can I ask, what is the point of buying 100 shares? Downside protection?

why buy a 1 year LEAP instead of buying a even further longer term LEAP if it is available?
