- Here I have used the new FabFilter Pro Q3 dynamic EQ plugin to identify and fix problematic frequencies. As you can see, the plugin automatically grabs those pesky little peaks and I can easily cut them to smooth out the mix. Very visual and easy to use once you get into it.

Hi Aubrey - another great little explanation video that gives us mere mortals a much better chance of getting a great sound - thanks again.
Wow, I under estimated FabFilter Pro Q3 plugin big time. I'm going to give it a try on few of my problematic mixes. Thanks Aubrey great video 🙂
Really helpful thanks you 🙏
Wow, that was cool.. thank you..
Amazing
Hope I dan get Akai Midi controller :D hope your YT channel grow fast
How did you activate this setting in pro q3? thanks
My pluging not working need help the pro Q3
how do you hover the mouse? it is not working for me
The arrow that's on screen and corresponds to your mouse movements, needs to be within the frequency display area as the music is playing - if you stop moving it, the frequency area will change colour and the problem frequencies will be shown. You can them drag them down etc. to adjust.
Why don't you use that EQ to filter out those plosives on your mic? It would make this video watchable.
This was recorded on my phone so send your complaints to Apple Iphone mate
Haha... It's not a complaint, it's a comment that could help you improve your content, which is quite good aside from the poor quality audio. Are you seriously going to blame Apple for putting your mouth too close to the mic and/or not using a pop filter? What could Apple have done differently to prevent you from blasting puffs of air directly into the microphone? This is literally a channel about pro audio. Are you telling me you can't figure out a way to solve the plosive problem on your dialogue? Export the audio, drop it in your DAW and EQ the plosives out, talk past the mic not into it, or just use a pop filter for heaven's sake!
I find it funny how terrible the audio is in so many videos, where they try to show us how to use these features, why didn’t you fix the narration sound of this video before uploading it.
What are you talking about the audio narration is fine. Pointless comment.
ppl out here giving u free game, and u complain about the audio quality of the commentary 😭😭😭😭
@@AubreyWhitfielduk Your mic definately needs a pop filter
@@AubreyWhitfielduk It WAS a rude comment - could have been made privately, but it's true, the narration is filled with loud plosives on the Ps and Bs that make it difficult to listen on studio monitors, where I imagine many of us are, if we're watching the video. (Ironic, since you actually DO discuss how low frequencies clutter up the sound.) Regardless, any video that is put up to help people should be appreciated - we can learn something from this, even if the audio isn't perfect, so thank you.
That intro almost gave me a seizure. If all of your videos have that intro unfortunately I will not be tuning in.
maybe turn your volume down LOL
Turning down the volume won't stop the 1980's ecstasy rave party eye sore that is your intro.
@@isaacjohnklein every where i go there u are dropping hate lol
