"...A churning, boiling, bubbling action..." That's the kind of commercial copy that's sadly missing from today's television, and not just in the ads. Seriously though, I love old TV commercials like these and look for them every chance I get. Thanks for posting these!
The way some RUclipsrs do product endorsements in the middle of their videos kind of reminds me of these old commercials, like advertising has done a full 360.
As a Marlboro man of the 60's, seeing an Oasis ad that promised to take us away from the everyday of smoking to a rich freshness, didn't strike me as goofy. All cigarettes tasted like crap. But live and let live man! LOL. Where are all the Larry Tates we had back then? Some days we just need a good hootnanny to take our minds off our situation.
3:13- "'PERRY MASON' will continue, following station identification." "This is the CBS TELEVISION NETWORK." **30 second station break follows, with station I.D. ["Channel 2, New York."]**
What, the hunter in that Marlboro ad didn't give his dog a smoke too? Damn cheapskate... Bob Shields (4:27, in that Bayer aspirin ad) was also a spokesman in some ads for Marlboro.
@@MSCJC97 Did you ever get a carton of cigs as a birthday or Christmas present? Even my mother gave me Pall Malls once for Christmas. Good parenting, lol. I was 16 yrs old, too.

Ugh and double ugh, DON’T remind me of Perry mason in 1959; I went outside to watch the Sun set - why did granny have to watch that every Saturday night, I hate it then and hate it now … 😡😡
I like these old classic commercials
My mom was hittin the NyQuil and sprayed my little brothers room with Black Flag. It stopped his cough. We miss Tommy.
😅

At least you enjoy these unironically.
Never touch a drain trap after using Draino. They ain't lying.
@@captaintrips2980 Good advice, Captain.

Anita Bryant was 19/20 in that commercial? Wow.

Anita bryant great singer
Too bad she's a closet Christian Nationalist.
A tour of the Chesterfield factory, a catchy tune. What more could you ask for? Those Chesterfields were real lungkillers.
Stan Sawyer speaks for Drano.
Wildroot -- melts in your hair, not in your hand....Or something like that.

The dog prefers Chesterfield King {"The cigarette for the Men of America! 🎶CHESSSSTERFIELD!!!!!!!!!!!! 🎶"}.
@@fromthesidelines Thanks for the heads up, Barry! And I screwed one up: Bob Shields did ads for Winston, not Marlboro.
Jackson Beck voiceover for Chesterfield.
Cigarettes are almost against the law
Cocaine always makes a party 😜😜😜
Remember when Marlboro s were 0.25/pack?
I just learned that Anita Bryant died last month.
I need a cigarette. Haven't smoked in years.
Same here! A little temptation creeped in. Cigarettes were about 15 cents a pack back then.
Wow, those old ads really worked.

@@RandomDudeOne We called Marlboro cigs "cowboy killers"
I doubt any tough guy would be caught dead smoking a Chesterfield. 🚭
All those cigarette ads, so full of bunk. 😒
Drano every week? They can’t be serious.
I thought the same thing. Only use Drano when drain is clogged in my house, even when I was a kid.
Wish congestaid was still around
Why? It'll just be another ingredient for meth cooks. 🧪
Rather see this vs LGBT grooming on everything now.
Ok, snowflake.
Like slicking your hair with Wildroot will get you laid...😂
ok homophobe
