- I can't get enough of this trail...mega jumps, epic tech, what more can you ask for! A brand new Mountain bike park in Langford, BC here on Vancouver Island just opened and it feels like a Whistler bike park. Such a huge step for the community, honestly can't thank everyone enough who put this together. Jordie would be proud.

This is Langford! And it's completely free! Sadly no shuttle, but not the worst hike (I know a few folks who drag up the DH bike for a lap)

My brother lives in bend and took me mtb a couple times. I typically ride road/track so full suspension was insane. Well I recently picked up a canyon spectral AL to ride with my bro here and there. Turns out I only live 30 minutes from this place! Now I'm brand new to MTB so hopefully there are some easy sections/trails for me to practice. The goal is Mt Bachelor this summer rofl. Cheers man. 57 year old me thinking how much I would have loved this when I was a kid doing bmx courses and making our own courses thru the woods.
I would not hesitate to hit a course now but not at this level.
Some of those turns are just to tight

Those downhill guys are CRAZY. I've done plenty of riding downhill, and generally at a pretty good clip, and I've gotten plenty of air (hell, I raced/street rode BMX when I was a kid/young man, til falling down started to hurt too much), but the hardcore downhill guys make you wonder what's different in their brains vs everyone else.

I’ve been a traditional MYB trail rider since a kid. Used to bmx race. Didn’t know mountain bike trails like this exist. I’m Missouri we have like 2 or three trails with some jumps (not parks, the collection of trails will have one black diamond on it) and I come to Utah, the green and blue lines here are literally what they call black diamonds where I’m from 🤣
