@@robertnewell4054In gymnastics you don't really spot people falling from high heights who are like the same size as you. Do you know anything about gymnastics?
@@alexh5561 if you search for the video of dean potter doing this line, you can see them work for him, with a monster drop at like the 60% mark. probably have to be an absolute cat about it though
My brother in Christ that is a free solo
Bruh that may not be El Capitan, but it's at least El Private
This is bigger than some of the top roping at my local gyms.
Awesome send. Sick line.
RIP Dean Potter ❤
super sick man lovely to watch
Beautiful line. Pretty high up there
A "you got this" 2 moves into the route? My gawd, less is more ya know?
To think that this fell off the mountain and ended here
the spray
No spotting? Or is there a reason for not spotting?
Upwards of 4-5m a spoter is only a hazard for the climber and a danger for himself.
If this is true, then at least a spotter at the beginning of the climb would have been a good idea.
@@gleesbouldering5250…. That patently subjective. Problem is this Generation forgot that Spotting is a technique borrowed from Gymnastics.
Gravity and the forces it produces after a couple of meters are not subjective ;)@@robertnewell4054

they are out of frame.. briefly visible at the beginning
Do the crashpads even work if you fall from that height? @@nathanking635
