I'm going to mix things up a little today. This video is super raw. No real edit, no music, just natural sounds of Nina Williams as she sends Midnight Lightning back in 2015 maybe? I don't know the exact year. I just found this in my archive and thought I would share it with you all. There is one move towards the top which is skipped, sorry about that but we were shooting as a two camera shoot and I don't have access to the other footage. Let me know what you all think? You can hear the camera man saying "The batteries were dead you gotta do it again right now" as she sends, so wasn't really an editing choice, still a shame tho :D

I flashed that boulder, technically speaking -- and by technically I mean the V0 on the opposite face. 😆

Why is there a cut right at the crux? And all that chalk... seriously? I was climbing and bouldering back in the '70s and we did fine without so much chalk. Better, in fact, since chalk tend to clog the holds and make them slick.

So what we got here is a footage of this girl trying parts of the problem and then we celebrate her send without footage of the crux move??? of course excuses where on the spot" battery in camera died". the tries look overpowered and lack of flow. Just to think John Bachar run over 500 laps on this problem completely stoned in awful shoes and a t- shirt for the pad. Keep practicing little girl ...one day you might cruse up that thing like Lynn Hill. Had to balance all sugary positive comments , lets get real this climbing season and own our sh1t ...

Who cares so many people have done that problem it's not relatve any more and not that great of a problem
