@@mariorizkallah5383 What? Murdering someone is not even on the same field with issues like gay marriage. I don't know anyone that is for murder and has to be told not to commit it. That makes zero sense in this conversation.
@@JoeyT1 The way I see it is whatever two consenting adults do is their own business. I don't have the right to infringe (nor would I want to-do someone is lucky enough to be happy, win.) But people seem to think that with their religious lifestyle choices they can judge from a higher place. These days, it's fundamental evangelicals who are causing an awful lot of problems...look at who they voted in-it led to a terrorist uprising. I'll trust my friends in the LGBTQ group thank you very much.
So perfectly put! Bottom line, as you said, this has zero impact on anyone but gay people. If these judgmental religious people thinks it’s a horrific sin, then all they have to do is not marry someone of the same gender. Period. “Problem” solved for them. Now everyone can go about their business and be happy! Yay!! Ain’t life grand?!? ✌🏻🙂✌🏻
The effect is at a societal level. Gay marriage actually improves us as a society. It means we are more inclusive, that gay people have the same access to marriage privileges as everyone else, that their children can feel their family is like all the other families. Gay marriage is more than accepting homosexual relationships. The legalisation of gay marriage sanctions these relationships and brings them into the general acceptance of all familial activity. Basically, it makes us better.
The problem is they want to control what others do (so called Christian conservative republicans) in the name of Christianity, and totally forget about separation of church and state. And a bunch of them use the bible to control OTHER people, they hardly practice anything in it only what serves them or/and what they can use to control other people. Control yourself.
I never understood how being gay infringes on their religious freedom. I was taught to love your neighbor as you would love yourself. Religious freedom is both a weapon and a shield for their bigotry IMO
I agree. I also extend that to religious people can FEEL however they want to feel about abortion. Nobody’s making religious people have abortions and it doesn’t infringe on their religious freedom.

+Sweet Chicken She's clearly a fake tanned white lady lol. And I wouldn't mind doing her, I find her attractive. And no, since she's Jewish, I doubt she dates men who aren't millionaires
@faultroy uhm, pardon? in my opinion, ALL marriage is stupid in today's society, not just gay ones. many end in terrible divorce or abusive spouses/a generally sucky view at your partner. why? because unless you sign a prenup, most of the time everything is split 50/50, 70/30, 60/40, need i go on? that's why many stay with spouses they resent, because they may not be able to afford living on their own. it's not a gay or woman thing at all, it's a societal thing. people aren't advocating for gay marriage because the destruction of America is here (don't get me wrong, we're pretty close with the stuff happening now), they're advocating because gay people and straight people are equal. usually i don't like advocating for any marriage unless you are absolutely positive that it's going to work out. even then, it's hard to say. the whole point is, if straight people can resent and divorce their partners, or love and cherish their partners with a sheet of paper saying it's official, why can't gay people? equally, if gay marriage isn't allowed, why should straight marriage be allowed? what on earth do you mean "the gays and women have done a great disservice to this country"? the black statistic doesn't go for ALL women. it's not just gay marriage that's stupid, it's ALL marriage. there isn't sanctity in marriage anymore. there is not a gay marriage problem, there is an overpopulation problem. many gay people want gay marriage so they can adopt. y'know, not bring anther child into this world and instead take care and love one that has already been here. what common sense/historical reasons are there to not gay marry?
@faultroy I didn't say they were equal socially, economically, politically, etc., but they are equal as HUMANS. People are just that; people. nothing more, nothing less. Also, if the government and pretty much everyone around me is lying, why on earth would i trust you? im not doubting the things you're saying, but it's called using sources. you don't need to be married to raise perfectly normal kids. When did my gender have anything to do with the argument? You can call me an idiot all you want, but it doesn't make it true, the same way saying something is a fact doesn't make it true.
I love the line, "If you dont like gay marriage, then dont get gay married". And I believe this with all my heart that if you have issues with gay people, it says a lot about issues that you are repressing.
I used to have issues with it. I was raised to have issues with it. I felt offended and disgusted when I saw two women holding hands at the dmv. That's how my parents taught me to feel and react. And then I grew up and realized what other people do has nothing to do with me. Literally no effect on me if my neighbors are gay and married. Furthermore, if I'm unable to see them as people who are just as deserving of love and happiness as me, that says everything about me and nothing about them.
@@vintagearisen You said a key thing. You grew up. Chances are when you grow up, read a few books and venture out into the world a little bit, you get smarter. Cheers.

As a gay man, 27 years old; who’s been a fan of Judge Judy since elementary school, this makes me love Judge Judy more than I already did. Judge Judy has more common sense than anyone on the planet. We need more people like her in this world!
Marissa S F Probably not since it's completely idiotic to be so concerned with what sex 2 consenting adults are doing that you get your panties all in a twist since it literally has zero affect on anyone else. And if you're doing something completely idiotic you definitely don't have much common sense.
Marissa S F. Real talk. I like her more because she supports gay marriage. i just found this video and shes right. We have more important concerns in this country. Gay people do pay every bill and tax I do so I dont care if they want to get married. And then the honesty of it is what if someone doesn't believe in God why should they be held to something based on what they dont believe in. What she said was very real, no bull shty.
Christopher Royal Don't forget what George Carlin said as well. Christian's are against abortion, and gays are an entire class of people who don't get abortions, you'd think they'd make natural allies.
she’s grifting. marriage is between man and woman, we all know that. the balance of male and female is the only reason we have people on earth right now. straight people be fuckin. the farther we stray from that base concept, the more danger we put ourselves in. you can label it as hate but that’s just a ploy to get what you want. gay people could have domestic partnerships that are identical to marriage except for the label. the reason they need husbands and wives is because they want to live a straight life when they’re not straight. not only is it appropriation, but it is bastardization. gay people are a lovely, important part of society, but treating them exactly like straight people leads to a breakdown of what is and isn’t normal. if men can marry men, women can be womanizers, men can be misandrist, and everyone can be a hypocrite. all logic goes out the window because you people don’t understand the significance and history of marriage and yet absolutely NEED to redefine it
The only concern that government should have with marriage is tax purposes and the legal binding side of it. Other than that, the rest is none of the government's business.
I mean the government has to keep older people who may have an unnatural desire towards minors from ever getting their creepy hands on said minors 😶 So while yes the government should stay away from trying to enforce a patriarchal view of marriage on the country, we should also be aware of the fact that there are some very disgusting people who want to harm children.
@@dmnemaine Oh I know; I was just trying to make sure that the op knew that the last thing that they said didn't come off as implying that people who are interested in children in that way was not appropriate. 😶
TayTay BeyNippy perhaps. I get the feeling she would be self aware enough to think she wouldn't be qualified. I mean, no one really is and she would do at least a decent job, but she is too much of a realist to think she should run. I'd vote for her, though.
Alpha1 Omega2 great. now prove that creator exists then prove it is against gay marriage. then convince everyone who doesn't share your religion that they should have their lives controlled by religious laws.

+ManInTheBigHat She didn't betray Carson. It was the other way around. He snubbed her for decades because he thought, as a woman in those times, she shouldn't have taken the job she was offered. He saw himself as her "career benefactor" and as she progressed he resented it as though he had exclusive rights.
Bringing Joan on his show was a vote of no confidence in her. Promoting her was kind of an insult, being as she was a woman. Joan should have sued. Judy could have taken the case and put Johnny in his place. Show him for the sham he really was.
Marissa S F When she said that about religious people it was because their feelings towards GAY marriage are irrelevant. Larry goes, "but religious people feel.." and she fired back. She wouldn't say "gay people can feel what they want" because their the ones having to deal with other people's shit in this matter. This marriage matter.
Marissa S F does me marrying have anything to do with you lmao? No. You live your little life and I live little old mine. Ultimately everyone wants happiness. And your religion or whatever should never infringe on my right to be happy. You can be happy ignoring me and my wife. I can't be happy if I wasn't allowed to marry lmao But whatever,it's already legal and besides, separation of church and state means no religion can get in my way,so let's keep it that way.
I agree. It's going to be stupid. It's now legalized in almost or around 20 states. We're getting there! Who knew it would be legalized in so many states 5 years ago? I sure as hell didn't. The moment these people have a close person dear to them tell them they're gay, they will realize and start to support it. Sad, but mostly true for 90 percent of parents/friends/family.
Dena Campbell Even if you're lesbian (Which I HIGHLY doubt) You're dead wrong. It's not a choice, no one chooses to like something. I seriously just think you're a troll. Dena Campbell is not a lesbian. Note her terminology ("If you think I am the only gay who knows all this"). “Look in the mirror & make that change.” - MJ Change is difficult for lots of people who feel like they are being left behind & instead of TRYING to change to become more compassionate, they dig in their heels & become more angry about the world changing around them.
Some things don't change. A boy grows into a man, but he remains a male and likewise a girl grows into a woman but remains female. Humans cannot redefine what the Creator has already determined and set. Marriage is between male and female. For all who choose to forget, look at nature.

***** Nancy Grace was never a judge, and thank god for that. It's bad enough she was an assistant prosecutor, where at the very least damages from her inability to remain objective were somewhat mitigated by her boss (the county D.A.) and the judiciary (as evidenced by their frequent and numerous repudiations of her). In the 10 years she served as a prosecutor, she was censured by the Georgia Supreme Court three times. With one judge eventually writing that she habitually displays contempt 'for the *notions* of due process and fairness'. Not just due process itself, but the mere idea of due process. The very idea that our culture affords a defense system (even if it's not perfect) to people she feels are guilty, is a completely incensing, foreign concept to her. I think she actually takes it as a personal insult that judges don't just convict people on her word, and she has to take action to prove it. This is a women who let a film crew into a murder scene to film an unflattering documentary for CNN about the suspected killer, which she starred in, WHILE SHE WAS PROSECUTING THE CASE!
maxdecphoenix thanks for the information. shes a fucked up human and the fact that she not only has a show but that people like her ideas and opinion frightens me. now im gonna go murder some babies because i smoke weed.
It would be! I'd love for it to happen. but a few things, some of which are a little controversial. But the big question of her being on the supreme court is, WHAT THE HELL WILL I WATCH ON TV?! tl;dr, the supreme court doesn't air often, there's other court shows and trash tv that I'll laugh at, but JJ is really the one that keeps it real the most. The supreme court only rules every once in a while, and I don't think it's televised! Sure, there's hot bench (a show Judge judy created), but the show is slightly less entertaining compared to JJ. Meanwhile there's other court room shows like the people's court - Judge Marilyn Millian (however you spell it) is HALF, at most, the power and wrath of Judy. If you bring her husband Jerry back to preside on the people's court so he could rule there like he used to, then you're fine, but that'll never happen. Sure there's other shows where I can laugh at the stupidness of others like Springer, Wilkos, and Maury, but that's trash TV - well there's wilkos there too. I mean Steve Wilkos is a real tough guy, he'll whip them into shape if they fail the lie detector test. It's funny, yes, but Judge Judy is really the one who keeps it interesting! Then there's cartoons and other comedies, but that's not as funny as seeing idiots being scared straight by a judge that tells it like it is. I WON'T HAVE ANYTHING TO WATCH WITHOUT JJ!
Brad F being a judge for civil litigation and a judge on the highest court in the nation are two very, very different things. I fuckin love judge Judy but that doesn’t make her qualified as an analyst of federal law and more importantly the constitution.
In California they used to word propositions backwards which was super confusing for voters. Newsom made that illegal just a year ago, so now ballots propositions are worded more simply like "should gay couples be allowed to get married".
My first election was the one that had prop 8 on the ballot, I remember showing up to protests and getting nearly ran over and hit by things thrown from moving cars. I don't remember exactly how it was worded on the ballot, but the entire nation should make the same call that newsom did.
She admitted voting for Obama in 2008 and sitting 2012 out and she supported trump recently. She’s open minded, she has a bit of both policies from both sides. She appeals to all.
Judge Judy should be the fucking President!!! This Country would be better off with a productive very intelligent and caring woman like her. She understands what's important and I always agree with her
Oh my, I read that wrong the first time. I thought you were saying Judge Judy should be fucking the president, and then I pictured the Sheindlin-Obama coupling and got a little sick. But now that I read it correctly, yes, you are 100% right!
I was raised in a very conservative, Jamaican, religious family...so even saying the word "gay" started some argument. I'm just glad I grew up around friends of all backgrounds and beliefs so that I can say proudly that I support human rights such as gay marriage and etc. My family is still the same (not as vocal or spiteful in front of me and my sis, but still ignorant) so I don't ever bring up these topics with them, to keep the peace. It is a shame, but I would have been the same, had it not been to the positive influences of education.
This is why I LOVE ME SOME JUDGE JUDY! I think ppl see the JJ on the show and even a lot of legal professionals pick apart her “performance” when that’s what it is, a “performance” for TV. Clearly, outside of her role as a TV judge - she is poised, clear and concise, intelligent, passionate, etc. Judge Judy is amazing!
I’m religious and I’ve always been taught that it doesn’t matter who you marry as long as you love them, I always get embarrassed seeing people saying “it doesn’t go with the bible! God won’t allow it!” They’re making it seem like all Christians/religious people are homophobic when we’re not
But if you aren’t homophobic than you can’t be a real Christian cuz it’s in their Bible and you can’t just pick and choose what bullshit in the Bible to believe in and what not to

God is supposed to love everyone. And if God feels something is wrong, then God will judge that person when their time of judgement comes. But it is out OUR place to judge that person (in a religious context) because we are not God. If you really get down to it.... beyond the simple example of "judge not, lest ye be judged", if you claim to speak for God in judgment of someone else, especially hostile judgment,.... wouldn't that qualify as not only bearing false witness but also using the name of The Lord Thy God in vain? Honestly, if I were Christian, I would feel the LGBTQ+ Community was a test to see if I truly believed in the word of Jesus and truly sought to follow his example. After all, there is no stronger judge in one's ability to love others than to confront them with something or someone that makes them uncomfortable. There is no asterisk of "*unless or or

As for myself, I am not Christian, nor have I ever claimed to be. As for tolerance though, that is the first step. You do have to allow steps, rather than expecting people to just skip right to the end. Not saying you have to make steps in their direction or meet them halfway, merely recognize that making steps takes time, as there are several levels from tolerance to acceptance. Those who actually are making the effort should be recognized for doing such, rather than lumped in with the whole because they aren't at the goal line yet.
@@k1productions87 It's been 2000 years. How long are we supposed to wait to not get un-alived in some countries? Are we supposed to thank people for taking baby steps towards "tolerance"? My brother, 5 years older, didn't speak to me for 4 years after my sister blabbed that im gay. He went on to marry and divorce SIX times. My sister was married three times. Don't get me started on her hypocrisy.
And these same people want to get rid of "no fault divorce", i.e. divorce because we just don't love each other anymore. So the only one who could call for a divorce is the man. And if it goes through,... I bet the next talking point will be "It doesn't count as sexual assault if we're already married"
I will never understand why society has hated gay people for so long. I know the answer is simple; the feeling of superiority and power over them, but I seriously can’t put myself in those people’s minds. We’re all just trying to be successful and live our lives to the fullest with the people we truly love. To be truly happy is the ultimate goal, as said by Aristotle. So why do we think that making other people miserable, simply because of who they love, achieves us the goal of true happiness? It doesn’t, and it only promotes hurt and pain. “Others’ misery does not result in our content.” And that’s my quote that I stand by for life.
I disagree that the hatred stems from a power fantasy. The hatred stems from fear of the different. This is how a lot of similar things start, just as the mistreatment of different races and the disabled. Humans have an innate drive to “belong”, and naturally want to push away the “different.” Of course, this is a very easy drive to overcome if you actually use your brain, but unfortunately institutions such as religion make money off of this fear. Therefore, they have created possibly the most effective threat to capitalize off of fear- the concept of an eternal torture. The more afraid you are, the more followers they get. My point here is, religion is 100% the center of the hatred of LGBT people. Without it, this would never exist (or, to much less an extent). Even the homophobes who don’t claim religious reasons are likely to only believe based on false, made up information that was either created by, or perpetrated by religious institutions.
society is so crazy. Men loving men is literally natural and has been a thing FARRRRR before our current society. It's been a thing since humans first existed. Probably even before then with species we came from. It's crazy how this hatred and inschrhrity is only a recent thing and yet this society is obsessed with it.

@@Ignasimp Absolutely true as well. However, there is no such thing as "gay marriage." You mean gay civil union. Marriage has a natural meaning. Only people of the opposite sex can have a marriage. But we should love gay people no less than we love cis people because love does not discriminate. God made us to love and be loved.
@@Lerian_V I'm sorry but you are wrong. There is nothing natural about marriage. It's a human convention which means it has an artificial origin. Marriage existed way before it was a Christian or Jewish thing, and there is no reason to not consider gay unions as marriages. It's just a way of deflecting from the issue. The issue is that gay people deserve to be able to have a partner with whom they can share their life with and share the same advantages (except those that depend on biology) a conventional marriage would have.
@@Ignasimp Marriage is grounded in natural law. It has telos which defines its role in the world. The Christianization of marriage is simply an elevation of the it because God reiterated its importance. All the formalities and extra add-ons happened over the centuries as societies and cultures develop and change. We can consider gay unions as marriages (as oxymoronic as that is). We are human beings with free will and we can turn reality on its head and redefine things however we want, but like MLK wrote in 'Letter From Birmingham Jail': "How does one determine whether a law is just or unjust? A just law is a man made code that squares with the moral law or the law of God. An unjust law is a code that is out of harmony with the moral law. He was obviously talking about law in the letter, but the general point is that Natural Law (which includes moral law) defines the purpose for every human behavior or act. The moral law forbids sexual immorality, not human partnership which we all need.
Judge Judy for the win. This is what Ive said. Why does gay marriage bother people so much? No one is saying for YOU to marry a gay person or be gay. Its two people that want to have the same rights as everyone else. And like she pointed out not too long ago interracial couples weren't allowed either. Let people Marry the gender they ant and the person they want it doesn't effect you period.
Even my beloved grandma Eleanor who was born just prior to the Great War and lived through The Depression said, let people love who they want to. Nobody’s business really, is it?
Why the irrational preoccupation about one’s own gender? is the better question. This is on par with flat earthers. Except they are not a “selected protected group”. Which, fine, you do you, but promoting it as fact is just too far. From any standpoint
I'm Roman-Catholic and I have two dear gay friends who are married to each other. Sure, I believe in God. That doesn't mean I can't also accept the fact that there are biological reasons for homosexuality. I don't agree with "Christians" (Catholic or Protestant) who keep tooting the cliché about homosexuality being a sin. That's a Leviticus quote, NOT one of Christ's actual teachings. Racism and homophobia are far bigger sins than interracial marriage and homosexuality any day of the week. God bless.
Literally the only way legalising gay marriage affects straight people is that they get invited to more weddings, and I personally see that as an absolute win.
This is so refreshing. As a gay man it's always been so frustratingly impossible to describe why gay marriage should so obviously be legal. While knowing it would be arrogant to be so sure that my opinion weighs no more than others, it just seemed so obvious. So when someone like my main gal JJ describes exactly what I'm thinking in a way that is so clear and impossible to argue against - I just wanna binge watch her show even more.
This was always my argument in the defense of same sex marriage as well. The time and energy wasted debating something that should never have been up for debate in the first place. If Bill and Ted want to move in next door and have excellent adventures together then let them. And for the religious amongst us. I am fairly confident that God didn't stipulate that you are required to save X number of souls or convert X number of gay people in order to be permitted into Heaven.
I watch my late partner die before me. 16 years later it still hurts me that people cannot accept the love I have for him. To this day, I pay it forward for those who helped me try to treat him and help me with his passing. Because it is similar and relevant. People are being discriminated against for something with no basis. Race is not some special issue that is just incomparable.
this was 15 years ago.. about 16 years ago in 2008, I worked at a store, I was in my 20s, and I had other young women that were scared of me because I was a lesbian. They took anything i did as sexual harassment. So even back then young people weren't always cool with gay people.

These days, it's fundamental evangelicals who are causing an awful lot of problems...look at who they voted in-it led to a terrorist uprising. So perfectly put! Bottom line, as you said, this has zero impact on anyone but gay people.
''Religious people can feel whatever they want to feel.'' such an icon.
The problem is they want to control what others do (so called Christian conservative republicans) in the name of Christianity, and totally forget about separation of church and state. Judge Judy has smarts and logic. She would make a great leader for America.
@faultroyi know you probably won't read this but i really hope you've changed your views since 2 years. stay safe
No she wouldn’t. I’m sure she wasn’t born in America.
Yeah. Like Trump
I love the line, "If you dont like gay marriage, then dont get gay married".
And I believe this with all my heart that if you have issues with gay people, it says a lot about issues that you are repressing.
Exactly. Several times I've had straight guys threaten me, only to pressure me for oral sex (or more) following said threats.

That’s why Judy is an honorable lady, she’s sensitive and puts herself in the shoes of others. What an amazing woman
she’s grifting. marriage is between man and woman, we all know that. the balance of male and female is the only reason we have people on earth right now. straight people be fuckin. the farther we stray from that base concept, the more danger we put ourselves in. you can label it as hate but that’s just a ploy to get what you want. gay people could have domestic partnerships that are identical to marriage except for the label. the reason they need husbands and wives is because they want to live a straight life when they’re not straight. not only is it appropriation, but it is bastardization. gay people are a lovely, important part of society, but treating them exactly like straight people leads to a breakdown of what is and isn’t normal. if men can marry men, women can be womanizers, men can be misandrist, and everyone can be a hypocrite. all logic goes out the window because you people don’t understand the significance and history of marriage and yet absolutely NEED to redefine it
Imagine being so threatened by a happy couple wanting to get married that you think they shouldn’t be allowed to because of your own bitterness.
I think the government should just stay OUT of dictating social relationships! Nobody can tell you who to love!

+Andreia Guerrero Joan Rivers betrayed the man who made her career, Johnny Carson. Judy's moral compass seems more true.

Just because one person (who again, I'm pretty sure is bullshitting because they're anonymous on the internet and can use it to further their agenda) who is confused on their sexuality thinks it's a choice doesn't speak for anyone else. Becaus it's not a choice. That's a proven fact.
Dena Campbell its more like your sexual orientation is Str8 and your choosing to be gay to be a fucker ... But in reality there are many people who cannot choose their sexual orientation unless they are BI then they can choose ....
Dena Campbell is not a lesbian. Note her terminology ("If you think I am the only gay who knows all this").
No, it wouldn't be "wonderful"
Phil Swift the closest she got to being a federal judge was being one in NY family court
I love that she said this before it was overturned. Ally!
I’ve grown up watching this woman and I still love her!

I’m religious and I’ve always been taught that it doesn’t matter who you marry as long as you love them, I always get embarrassed seeing people saying “it doesn’t go with the bible! God won’t allow it!” They’re making it seem like all Christians/religious people are homophobic when we’re not
But if you aren’t homophobic than you can’t be a real Christian cuz it’s in their Bible and you can’t just pick and choose what bullshit in the Bible to believe in and what not to
@@bryanmiller476 but in the bible it also says that you can’t eat lobster and that’s bs I believe god just wants everyone to love each other and be equal
As a Christian I believe God loves everyone even members of the LGBTQ+ community. As an adult who worked for an insurance company as well as a hospital I understand that being able to marry goves you protection and equal rights in the event of serious illness of the other spouse that just living as a married couple with out that documentation would not.
Wow! God *"even"* loves members of the LGBTQ+ community. Well, that's real big of him! They do say there's no hate like Christian love. I see their point.
There is no asterisk of "*unless or or
@@k1productions87 Yeah, that's right, we're just there to test you. It's all about you. We're not simply human beings loving who we love and living our lives. We're a test for YOU! Because it's a GIVEN, apparently, that our love, our lives, and our very existence is a BAD thing - we're all filthy sinners, right! - but because you Christians are sooooo full of love and forgiveness, you TOLERATE us to prove how "good" you are. Well, thank you so much for passing the test and putting up with us!
@@kitsworld I think you misunderstood what I was trying to say. I was trying to speak in a language that Christians could understand, but that is much harder than it sounds.
And why should we be extending ANY courtesies and considerations to those who would oppress us - even if they think they're on the side of good - by taking small steps towards an unseeable end-goal distant years after we're all gone? You're just kicking the can further down the street, hoping a future generation will deal with it. That's precisely why there are STILL places I can't go for fear of my life! No! No, no, no! It has to end now! Religion and "religious freedom" has been - AND REMAINS - a license to commit violence and hatred towards whole sections of society. So, yeah, baby steps. Thanks so much for the crumbs!
The title made me think she was gonna make a statement against same sex marriage. Love her forever 😩💖
Big can of worms just be gay and don't get married. At both sex genders : Just be promiscuous don't get married
Sounds to me like four years of bliss. You can’t choose your family, but you can choose what family means to you.
The lgbt community stans this Queen Judge 🥺💕

How the hell can you support Hillary yet support Judge Judy. Don’t even out them in the same sentence damn 😂
Last I checked, Hillary hasn't had 61% of her decisions overturned.
Jacob La Lomia - If you voted for Trump, you voted for Hitler. How's it working out?

I love watching this 10 years later and knowing that it is a non-issue now.
The right has since moved on to bullying trans people. It never ends 🤦🏻♂️
Shut up
Who would have thought that 4 years after your comment that is now an issue again due to the far-right MAGAt evangelicals?
I never really liked Judy when l was younger but as an adult she is such a wonderful woman smart, logistical and very straight to the point good woman!
When you're right, you're right!
She needs to run for some kind of office.
I am just seeing this. I have even more respect for Judge Judy than ever before!
I love this woman! She's intelligent, transparent, open-minded, and fair. She said once in another interview I watched where she said she doesn't think she could be a politician. I disagree. She'd be a wonderful politician and others will follow. Thank you JJ for your inspiration. ❤
i dont get it as well. why do people have such hatred towards things that aint gonna affect them
I just find it ridiculous that people are against us gays getting married. Especially when tv shows like The bachelor and 90 day fiancé mock it so badly. Where is the uproar over that??
I've ALWAYS Loved Judge Judy because she's DIRECT and to the point & she can pick up on people's CRAP in a flash! Very intelligent and very classy woman and in my opinion she is extraordinary in every way a human being can possibly be! ❤️😊🏳️🌈
i love how even with him she uses her "right!" line, like theres no arguing with her when she says that
her honesty shines through ..love her X
This was 2009! Damn I don't know why judge Judy isn't a gay icon 🙌🏽🙌🏽 nothing but respect for my president 😂😂
Love this, the "old guard", lol, yes! She is so dead accurate here! Awesome teaching about the importance of tolerance and acceptance of differences!
🙏😎
She doesn't get the point. She's gay, so obviously it will affect the way she enters the discussion.
@@Lerian_V you could say the same about heterosexual people being abainst gay marriage. That will probably affect the way they enter the discussion.
Everyone in the comment section has insightful remarks to make, while I'm just shocked at seeing her wearing a color.
Even my beloved grandma Eleanor who was born just prior to the Great War and lived through The Depression said, let people love who they want to. Nobody’s business really, is it?
I wish she would run for president, I'd vote for her.
People are saying she should run for president but I think she should be appointed as a supreme court justice.
I have so much respect for this woman. She's smart, confident, and she's not afraid to speak out against nonsense.
What a piece of history. And still relevant. Why the irrational preoccupation with trans people?
Why the irrational preoccupation about one’s own gender? is the better question.
This is on par with flat earthers. Except they are not a “selected protected group”. Which, fine, you do you, but promoting it as fact is just too far. From any standpoint
Judge Judy is iconic and fair!
I honestly do not understand why anyone would dislike this...
"The world is changing, and we have to change with it." I love that statement.
Some people are just born the way they are and they can’t help that and I respect that, if they want to be with the person they love I say let them
this was posted 15 yeard ago. the usa is truely regressing decades worth of progress with the orange danger
For real
I'm Roman-Catholic and I have two dear gay friends who are married to each other. Sure, I believe in God. That doesn't mean I can't also accept the fact that there are biological reasons for homosexuality. I don't agree with "Christians" (Catholic or Protestant) who keep tooting the cliché about homosexuality being a sin. That's a Leviticus quote, NOT one of Christ's actual teachings. Racism and homophobia are far bigger sins than interracial marriage and homosexuality any day of the week. God bless.
I’m gay myself and I say this with all my heart to you. God bless, love and keep you. May He shower you with the love of His mother.
I cant wait to meet both of yall in heaven and chill out 😭 bc this world is too cruel for all of us @JediCloud
that is great :)
I really appreciate her wisdom. Look at the US now, five-and-a-half years after this interview: the marriage equality wave is rolling, babe!
Legalize 'sic' Behavior Is Like Rome Burning''!!! Baby'''!
***** You are just making yourself ridiculous with this comment, honey
Richard Agnusich The only sick behavior here is yours! Knock it off!
Always loved Judge Judy - and how prophetic her words turned out to be.
OMG, I wish she was on the ballot.
To quote Homer Simpson: “if gays want to get married and become as miserable as us, I say let ‘em!”
I watch my late partner die before me. 16 years later it still hurts me that people cannot accept the love I have for him. To this day, I pay it forward for those who helped me try to treat him and help me with his passing. It still hurts my heart to have to acknowledge then a “loving god” wouldn’t understand my love for my partner.

misstantrix She has to be that way. Look at the common grunt she has to deal with day in and day out.
Totally agree! Dealing with the lowest common denominator of society day in and day out has to make an educated person like JJ cynical!
misstantrix She's still the same person & that rude, judgemental side of her is there. She is not a reasonable person & goes off on people that don't deserve it simply for her persona & without cause.

Churches shouldn't have to. Not everyone gets married in a church though, I didn't.
Also the bible is a lot of things, and explicit isn't one of them. It's one of the most ancient and convolutedly translated texts known to man. If it was explicit, there wouldn't be so many different denominations of Christianity.
