Thanks for the review. Will any of the Rigid attachments work with the ego? I see you've got the orange Rigid hose with the small adapter on it. Rigid makes a soft bristle brush that I love for dashes and seats. Any way to get that to attach to the Ego?
I have the ego blower, landmower, and snow blower since 2018. Everything still runs well, worth the money. My friends went cheaper route and they now spent more than I did for replacements and still have issues every once in a while. Thanks for the review, I've been eyeing this vac for a while.

This is a very well designed vacuum and they will sell a lot of them. The price is a bit high for shops to purchase one if their vacuum is working. For mobile guys this is a no brainer. Thank you for a very well thought out video!
Great video and Happy Holidays, Pan. I think the features are amazing on this vac, but I personally can't justify the cost over an equally powerful Rigid that will last way longer. I've had my rigid for 7 years, every time I change the filter, it works like it's brand new again.
Great video Pan! I have the Ridgid and it works great. The Ego vacuum looks awesome and is super quiet, which is awesome, but over $600 is quite expensive for a vacuum and out of the realm of possibility for most people. BTW… you can put a filter bag in the Ridgid too. I have it in mine. (Model # VF3501)
If I were a professional I might consider this but as a DIYer I would say no, if I only had one battery a place to plug in an extension cord might be a nice touch so I can continue on, enjoyed the video Pan, thanks 👍😁
Im an electrical contractor and have the ridged vac that lives in the back of my truck. It is exsposed to the elements going on easly over 5 years. All I do is probably change the filter once a year, and it still preforms like the day I bought it. The only upgrade I did give it was the hose and I also changed out the cord for a longer one.
Received this today and so far I’m very impressed with features and power (blowing and suction).Very quiet as well. Only thing would like to have seen is storage for all attachments but can’t have it all. Is kind of expensive but EGO is high quality so as they say you get what you pay for. Great video as always Pan once I saw the video had to add to my detail arsenal. Keep the great videos coming. Have a great New Year
I bought the vacuum 2 days ago. It does have onboard storage for ALL the attachments, I was pleasantly surprised. The two extension tubes go underneath at the back there’s two slots for them and just above that there’s another clasp to hold the bigger nozzle head. Correction, the only thing they really didn’t provide for is the squeegee, but I put it gently into one of the extension tubes.
I love ego products. They have all worked with me so far. I. Very hapoy with ego. Im excited for the pressure washer to get delivered and mini bike to come out

Great review. And, obviously a great vacuum. I have an EGO 650cfm blower already and it's awesome. So, I already know the build quality of EGO. But, I bought a compact RIDGID NXT 3 gal. vacuum and car detailing kit so, I'm not in the market for another vacuum. I must agree with the others, EGO stuff is pricey but, they make good stuff with good warranties. You GET what you PAY for.
Must say, the little light thing is a pretty cool idea. Not sure how much practical use it would be, but nice to see someone try something new. I’m guessing there’s a button cell battery in the remote, that will need replacement, at the most inconvenient time. What I would have liked to have seen would be for them to integrate the 320W charger into the unit itself. It’s already big, so adding a bit of size to add the charger wouldn’t make that much difference. You can still get the external rapid charger to use, or just use the vacuum, then plug it in to recharge so it’s ready for your next use.
5yr/3yr warranties are impressive, but appropriate of course, given the price. Not for me, I go with corded options when I can. I'd love to see a corded vac with these advanced options and design details. I would think there is a market opening for that.
Thanks for the in-depth review. I've been deep into the EGO eco system for a while starting with the leaf blower, then slowly adding the string trimmer, chain saw, snow blower and most recently, their lawn mower. All are very well designed and a genuine pleasure to use. I only wish this shop vac had a rotating carpet brush as it would be great for all around house cleaning as well. By the way, it's interesting how much of their design was directly copied from the Festool shop vac. Even the same exact color scheme. But nothing beats going cordless and Ego has really developed a fabulous eco system. Can't wait to see what they come out with next!
I bought the EGO leaf blower and love it. Because of that, I bought the EGO edger and weed whacker. All are excellent products. However, EGO is asking a lot of money for a vacuum cleaner that has similar power to one that is much less expensive.
Good day, Pan, I have the same Rigid. From a weekend warrior with 4 cars in the family. I will stay with the smaller much lighter always reliable vacuum. If my Rigid were to break I would not hesitate and buy the same model. I think I would rather spend the money on a micro polisher or other detailing tools. Thank you for the review it’s always good to see new things. Happy new year 🎉🎉🎉
Yeah the Ridgid is an awesome bang for buck. I have had mine for almost 8 years now if memory serves me well, and it's still going like day 1. Happy new year!
Thank you for doing this video. Many of my customers that live in apartments, condos or others looking for vacuuming without a power source near-by. This is a great option 👌
Although ego is a great looking vacuum, I still prefer rigid. I got it during thanksgiving in homedepot for about $90 including the upgraded kit. It is a workhorse with the only downside being cleaning the inside can be time consuming and messy.
Great review as I am an Ego covert with my gardening tools & was thinking of grabbing one of these for car & general cleaning jobs. Maybe a quick demo video of the wet cleaning procedures would be great Pan, if you have time. Keep up the great work ✌🏼
Great review Pan. Nice unit. Very impressive. I’ve been watching you for years. Always go to channel. Always Pan. You deserve all your accolades. Closing on a million, right?
I appreciate that! Thanks for your continued support Ricky! Yeah it's crazy, we're quickly approaching 1 million subscribers, and will surpass 130 million views... Awesome vacuum cleaner by EGO. As soon as the there’s a sale, definitely getting it. A second hose/or washing out the hose before use as a blower would be beneficial. Would not want to blow debris out of the hose after using it as a vacuum.
Pan!!! You the man!!! I love the reviews and thank for detail information on all videos. I’ll be starting my mobile detail services end of the month. I’ll buy both of these! EGO for sure is GREATNESS‼️

The EGO line are good products and I considered buying one of their cordless ones to dry our cars with. However, in Canada they are very expensive, and the battery was extra, then the attachments were extra, so maybe for a professional car dealer but in my experience too expensive for the weekend warrior...
Dang it Pan, I just got the Rigid for Christmas. 😂 I think it would be worthwhile to see a side by side usage comparison. I love the cordless option the ego has but that comes with the downside of dead batteries or running out of battery. I absolutely love the light feature, that would be a plus on any vacuum. As always another awesome video! Keep bringing the reviews and options! 😊
Nope, stay w/ Rigid. I'm not happy with the lifespan of Ego batteries, and they are not cheap to replace. Stick with an outlet. Don't even like their blowers, there good for a small car or driveway :)
@@Spirit2TT - I've had Ego tools (mower, blower, string trimmer, hedge cutter, and chainsaw) and batteries for about 6 years. Compliments of multiple tools, I have 3 batteries--each a different size. I found that if I use the turbo charger all the time, the batteries seem to shorten their lifespan. But, if I occasionally use the "standard" (slow) charger, it seems to refresh them. So far, so good.... That said; I'm not sold on the cost of the Ego wet-dry vac. Expensive, even without another battery!
@@jamesz9139 That is an interesting take, something that EGO does not talk about anywhere in their tutorials or manuals. While I will continue to use battery powered tools like this, I cannot rely on them for heavier type equipment in saws, vacs, etc...
I have had the Ridgid for almost 8 years now if I remember, and it's still going strong. Best bang for buck vacuum for detailing. But I also have had a super positive experience with all my EGO products. Zero issues with all my three 5.0Ah batteries so far, and I always use the super charger. One thing I do is let the batteries cool down after each use, before recharging them. So far, no problems. And my EGO 650 CFM is my favourite of my three blowers (I also have the MetroVac Master Blaster Revolution and Bigboi BlowR Pro units). It just works. I can dry my car, or my girlfriend's car, in turbo mode, with one 5.0Ah battery.
Excellent review, but for the huge difference in price and limited run time, I think I’ll stick with a corded vac. I’ve got a battery-powered mower that’s several years old and I’m not at all looking forward to replacing those batteries.
Hey Pan ! Thank you for the review as I am interested in this vaccum. The video has definitely helped me understand more about its amazing design and look forward to using it thank you !
It would be cool if ego made an adapter to be able to plug it in like a regualr vacuum. I bet they'd sell more of these. I think a cordless backpack vacuum from ego would have more utility.
Hi Pan! How are you? My name is Yvernson and this is the first time I am commenting on ANY RUclips Channel, but I had to comment for You. You are an amazing human being, incredible at making videos and of course, exceptional at detailing. I purchased this EGO cordless Vacuum for my Professional Mobile Detailing Business and I absolutely LOVE it! Thank you for this informative video!! By the way, I know this is quite random, but can you please make another Chemical Guys Products Review Video?? It's been a while since you made one and I'm super curious on what you think about their products. They came out with a lot of new ones and I really want to know Your Opinion. Appreciate You Pan!
Hi Yvernson! Thanks for the kind words. Welcome to my channel. You discovered one of the biggest car detailing channels on RUclips as we surpassed 960,000 subscribers and we have over 130 million views! I have been detailing for 26 years and I love to share my knowledge and passion with my viewers. You found the right channel to help you learn everything about detailing. Chemical Guys has been largely surpassed by its competitors in the consumer segment in my opinion in the past 6-8 years. So they're not a brand that I enjoy using that much. They do have some good products if you know which ones to buy (see my original video from years ago), but nothing special overall. In my opinion, Meguiar's and Turtle Wax and Adam's and Griot's Garage have better products to offer. And then you have the cream of the crop, the prosumer to professional grade products like CarPro, Gyeon, Gtechniq, Koch Chemie, etc. I have a popular yearly awards video where I present my top products in each category here: ruclips.net/video/KRv7vKsuliQ/видео.htmlsi=CGzT36npkS66gtf1
I did put a few b-roll clips, but there's not much to see here honestly, it's just a vacuum haha. What was most important is all its features, which show how well thought out this is.
I have the rigid, Is a few years old, and i still love it. You did forget to include the cost of the detail hose kit for the rigid, which is another $55. I just purchased the EGO yesterday. I haven't got to pay with it, but I have been eyeing it since EGO made the announcement.
This is really cool specially if you don't wanna go full blown mobile setup. To get a van set it up for Detailing getting a power generator to power corded power tools, for 500$ certainly pricey but well worth it if your doing more of a rinseless and cordless vacuum washes for apartments that don't have water nor electricity unless you can run 200' of cable to your customers room
Looks like a nice piece of kit! Pricey but if you can make economic sense through the additional features with some value for you, a viable option for sure.
Hello Pan. Awesome job as usually. Thanks for reviewing this battery vacuum. There’s a bunch of nice features. I use a corded Ridgid vacuum and have a M18 Milwaukee for portable jobs. EGO makes a nice product. Have great evening.
Thank you, Pan, for your thoughts on this vacuum. Being mobile,i would think I'd still need a generator to charge batteries. So,might not be efficient. I maybe wrong,as i am not in the ego line,so i lack knowledge about their batteries. Happy New Year to you and your family!!!
3 dB is a doubling of power 6 dB is a doubling of voltage or sound pressure level (SPL) 10 dB is considered to be, to humans with a non linear sense of amplitude, a doubling of apparent loudness.
Thanks for the very detailed feature review. . Would be interested to see a functional comparison with the Rigid - vacuuming sawdust, sand, etc... Keep up the great work.
Thanks Pan for the full review, looks like a legitimate vacuum. EGO should give you your money back for this info share. I trust you & your family had a great Xmas 👍 keep up the great work 👊
I love my ego blower. But for just an enthusiastic car detailer, kind of too big of a unit to have in my garage with everything else. I have the Ridgid and love it. If they made that ego but half the size (which should lower the cost too) then I'd buy it.
I purchased the shop vac and returned it as it did not meet my needs of cleaning up leaves and acorns on my pool decking. I have live oak lace bark elm and Holly shrubs sized leaves and acorns. The unit would bog down and waffle and required clean out of the hose with leaves, stuck and clean out of the filter very very often. in general, it didn’t have enough power and function well in this capacity. I did use it cleaning out my car and thought it was excellent. The remote is an outstanding feature. I thought it was very high-quality, but slightly heavy and bulky. Once they can get a lot more horsepower through this thing and a better filter I think I would be interested in its purchase.
I forgot to mention my rigid, five peak horsepower plug-in shop vac did not have any of those problems, but do you have the cord to deal with in and around the pool decking…
Thanks for sharing your experience. For detailing it’s amazing and has replaced my Ridgid for now. But different people have different needs and it seems it didn’t meet your expectations so it makes sense that you returned it.
I have the Milwaukee M18 Dual Battery vacuum, which is a direct competitor. Love it, but also expensive. Both companies need to come out with a hybrid battery/Plug In power head. Milwaukee has three different power heads, but none combine corded and battery in the same head. Look forward to a comparison video between the Milwaukee and Ego.
Looking forward to adding this to my Ego collection! I wish they (and other manufacturers) would offer a way to route the exhaust up rather than just to the back or side. I feel like they’re always blowing things around that are on the floor in the garage. Something that connects to the blower attachment point (i.e., the vacuum exhaust) and routes the exhaust up and diffuses it would be awesome.
I had a 30 gallon ShopVac that I bought a muffler for. It did cut the noise but, because of its design, it mounted horizontally and would only rotate 30° or so. Like you, I wanted it to shoot straight up. Good idea, bad execution.
@@imdeplorable2241 I have zero experience modeling anything 3-D or the like, but it seems like it would be something rather easy to accomplish if you have the know-how. You really just need the same connector that the hose uses, but instead of it connecting a hose it just connects the exhaust/diffuser we're talking about.
They really put time and thought into this cordless vacuum. But I rather stick with a corded vacuum. I have the Rigid my gripe is I bought the auto detailing kit and the hose snapped on me within about a year of when I bought it.
NIce !! But For that Price..... the battery should be able to be charged on the unit!! Going to Pass wait for Sale , I'll stick with my rigid for Now !! 😁 🤙🏾
TY Pan for showcasing this very clever and excellent wet dry Vacuum. Really put a lot of thought into this creation not only as a cordless unit but excellent set up with all of the attachments stored and available so easy. Keep Safe Keep Strong 🦘🦘🦘🦘❤❤❤❤
Looks like another great product from Ego. It's pricey though. The only complaint I've heard from a few people I know that have one is that it's impossible to find replacement filters.
Great review, Pan! It looks really well thought out. I won't be getting one because it's pretty difficult to grab one in Europe. Also, it makes sense to get it when you already have a leaf blower (and the batteries that goes with it), but I went with a Stihl leaf blower. Enjoy your holidays 😄
Lol that is great, that's seriously what I've been thinking for two straight days. I have several of these tools from Ego And now I want the vacuum and power washer but don't really need them right now.
Same story as my flex vc6, the corded variant is like 3 times stronger and 1/3rd of the price. I already invested into dewalt batteries but wanted a good compact vac (the dewalt cordless sucks) so i just bought the corded one. Honestly this is pretty decent if a cord reaaaally isn’t an option due to living in an apt building or something, only then i would get something like this.
Great first look Pan. This machine sounds a lot like a Festool. I do feel like the battery brings a large 'convenience' factor to the package, along with the tool storage, but this kind of gets undermined by 9 gallon capacity. Makes sense for professionals but for DIY/home usage, this is much more capacity than one ever needs, I find footprint matters a lot in the space of convenience and ease of use. Other things to contemplate: 110CFM but what is the PA (cfm taking debris into the vacuum, PA is the power to pick it up from car carpets), how much does the CFM & PSI drops as the vacuum reaches fuller capacity, what is the diameter of the hose, are the attachments great for cars (does the brush scratch? if so you need other attachments, which would mean the storage means less and less), can it manage without using a bag (ultimate convenience). There's still very much a place for the Ridgid, I think a cheap, abusable, catch-all vacuum is absurdly useful for house, cars and life, something that you don't have to treat like royalty.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Yeah my Ridgid is still a crazy good value for sure. The EGO has way cooler features but it’s to be expected at such a difference in price point. Now if Ridgid can come up with a compact cordless unit for detailing, that would be great!
Happy New Year, Pan! A bit off topic. I would love to see videos covering your preferred products for different protocols. I have a Subaru Outback daily driver that lives outside that I pressure wash and I desire tougher durable products over gentle glossy products for, and I have my wife’s C8 Corvette that is garage-kept that I rinseless wash that I desire more gentle and deep/glossy products over durability for. Does this make sense? Keep up the great videos.
I always wash my cars in my garage, using my pressure washer, so my ritual doesn't change. Other than when I make a tutorial for a rinseless wash for those how need that.
I have been looking at this Vac even though I don't currently have any other EGO equipment - catch is you can't get it as a kit in my area. Skin/Tool only.

@@PanTheOrganizer Australia, the Capital to be precise. I've watched a number of your videos and find them well presented and very informative. I live in an apartment that is within a block of townhouses. Have a smaller single car garage (not helped by shelving for storage down both sides) and almost no driveway so any car detailing has to be done more or less in the "street" which is not ideal as it restricts ingress and egress for residents on both sides.
I am curious to see how the EGO compares to the FLEX seeing how they're in the same family of products. I believe it would be perfect if they made a smaller capacity unit for those quick cleanups on the weekends. I've been using a Craftsman shopvac for years and it's a massive unit inside my single car garage. The pricing is very appealing because I would be able to vacuum outside of my apartment garage. I just bought the EGO Pressure Washer today to replace my Worx Hydroshot and I cannot wait to use my OG Mosmatic spray gun again!
Ohh Pan I would give to get this guy but that price is 😬😬😬 Maybe one day I'll be able to get it because I'm sure the technology and longevity is worth it. Seems to be a very premium product! Thanks as always Pan for your insight 🙌🏽
FYI on Ego battery warranty. My experience is their batteries lose capacity at a rate that does not seem normal. If you make a warranty claim on their battery, it will be denied if the battery still charges even if it loses 50% of its capacity after 2 years (my experience).
@joebal - I've had several Ego tools and batteries for about 5 or 6 years. I found my smallest battery seemed to be losing capacity last summer. I almost always use the turbo charger, but decided to charge it more slowly on a standard charger, and that seemed to have reconditioned the battery. We'll see what happens this coming summer when the yard work starts again....
I have had a great experience with my two 5.0aH batteries so far. And I use the turbo charger all the time. After use, I always let the batteries cool down, and then place them on the charger. A battery still allows me to fully dry my car or my girlfriend's SUV after each wash.
My two oldest Ego batteries are 2015 and I think they are not lasting as long but I'm actually not positive.....which is a major positive. I have 11 other Ego batteries and haven't had any issues but obviously anything can happen. Could it be a charger issue with your experience? Either way, if I experienced what you have with Ego, I would have moved on a looooong time ago, that's just not acceptable so I can absolutely understand your disappointment.
Don't waste your money on this. I love EGO products and own 4 various kits, but if you already have EGO batteries you can make your own cordless shop vac. Buy two 3D printed battery holders off the 'bay and mount them on a corded shop vac, wire in series, install two 5aH batteries, and connect to vacuum. You now have 112V available and all brushed AC vac motors will run on DC at full power. Boom! Saved you $300.
@@alexispinero I bought two printed EGO battery adapters from seller allthethings3d on the 'bay for 24 ea. Wire them in series (black wire from one to red wire on the other). Connect the remaining red and black wires to a female cord-end available at home_depot to be able to plug the vacuum into it (or cut the vacuum plug off and wire direct). If the vacuum spins the wrong direction, reverse the polarity. The wires are 12 gauge so use appropriate connectors or solder/heatshrink. There are 6 screw mounting holes available on each battery holder. It's simple to do overall. The batteries need to be of equal capacity, of relatively equal age, and fully charged.

It looks cool and handy with all of those quirky attachments included, however, that price tag is really steep for casual and even professional high volume use. 😬The batteries in my country are really expensive on their own ($200-300 in the USA) and having to get many on top of a fast charger (more money) to quickly charge them in a timely manner so I do not get interrupted with an empty battery seems like a massive investment for the minor convinience of it being cordless. 🤔Just ask any mobile detailer who have used battery vacs for dirty cars and they will tell you what a nightmare it is to wait around for it to charge or spend lots of money on just batteries alone. It is not a bad idea nor product I can see the potential of this being a great solution for us detailers, but the price tag for the unit, additional batteries, and fast charger needed to have a decent experience for real world usage is what makes this a difficult selling point. Just doing a bit of math you can get a "Obsessed Garage Vacuum Solution" with the only "cord" being the vacuum hose on the reel for almost the same price, yet more powerful and does not need charging. 🤣 Of course, Im using USD not sure how much it is in your location. Other than that great product impressions Pan, curious how the machine would last on top of the life spans of the batteries you will use with it. Keep up the work! 🏆
Thanks man! My Ridgid is still a great bang for buck. The EGO is very expensive, but all its features are very good. If you already have EGO batteries, then the price of the unit without batteries makes more sense. Happy new year!
In comparison with our Milwaukee dual M18 batt. 9 gl, the only feature it will envy, has to be the remote start and stop. Price wise it’s about the same. Milwaukee with x2 m18 12AH it’s like $600 sooo basically we would love to trade ours for the new ego but they don’t come in black and red 😅 #mta thanks for the review Pan 🫶🏼🎄
Looks like an impressive machine. A lot of thought obviously went into its development, but I have noticed that trying to become “green” can become an expensive hit to your pocketbook. I have the Rigid vac, and it delivers every time. I guess they know the market and I was surprised to hear you say that they were selling quickly. All good, another great video. It’s always a good day when you learn something new. Till the next one.
That's super odd. I have owned a 580 CFM, now my 650 CFM, both for years without issues, and I bought a 580 CFM to my dad too, and he also never had such issues. Did you try contacting EGO about it?
Pan, review the EGO battery-powered washing machine, I was very curious about it, especially since I live in an apartment and don't have access to water. Thanks.
Hey Pan! love the videos. I do just have 1 question, it isn't really related to this video but i'm just wondering if there is some kind of hand held blower that would be good for interior dust ? I can't afforded a compressor just yet so i'm opting out for a smaller cheaper soliution

Yes it will
This is a very well designed vacuum and they will sell a lot of them. The price is a bit high for shops to purchase one if their vacuum is working. For mobile guys this is a no brainer. Thank you for a very well thought out video!
Thanks Neil!
The ability to neatly wrap the hose and store attachments is very impressive. Well thought-out
Yeah so many features I really like. Hopefully other brands take notes. A well thought out design!
Awesome review Pan. That vacuum does have numerous thoughtful features, but the price will keep a lot of people away. Keep up the great work!
Thanks! Happy new year!
Yeah the Ridgid is still amazing value. I have had mine for probably close to 8 years now, and it's still going like new.
Thanks, that's good to know!
Why will the Rigid last way longer? I've seen nothing to justify that statement or that the Ego won't last. Every Ego product I have never not lasted.
If I were a professional I might consider this but as a DIYer I would say no, if I only had one battery a place to plug in an extension cord might be a nice touch so I can continue on, enjoyed the video Pan, thanks 👍😁
Thanks Dave! Happy new year!
Have a great New Year
Thanks for your feedback. You got a very cool machine there! Happy new year to you as well Chris!

Thanks!
The remote uses a rechargeable battery and has a USB cord to recharge it.
5yr/3yr warranties are impressive, but appropriate of course, given the price.
Not for me, I go with corded options when I can. I'd love to see a corded vac with these advanced options and design details. I would think there is a market opening for that.
Would be nice if this Vac was corded as well but of course that's not EGO's gimmick
I’m waiting to see if they release a model without batteries included for a lower price
@@Annihilator27they do have a version without the battery. It is $200 cheaper. I have 7 EGO batteries already so I didn’t need another one.
Happy new year Keith!
Great video. I love the fact that ECO put a lot of thought into it, but I think the price is too high.
Thanks Fred. Happy new year!
Thank you for doing this video. Many of my customers that live in apartments, condos or others looking for vacuuming without a power source near-by. This is a great option 👌
Glad it was helpful! Happy new year by the way!
@@PanTheOrganizer you as well! All the very best, great videos, Pan!
Thanks, I've been waiting for this one to come out. so many helpful features.
Although ego is a great looking vacuum, I still prefer rigid. I got it during thanksgiving in homedepot for about $90 including the upgraded kit. It is a workhorse with the only downside being cleaning the inside can be time consuming and messy.
Yeah the Ridgid is tremendous value for sure.
Great review as I am an Ego covert with my gardening tools & was thinking of grabbing one of these for car & general cleaning jobs. Maybe a quick demo video of the wet cleaning procedures would be great Pan, if you have time. Keep up the great work ✌🏼
Thanks! Happy new year!

Awesome vacuum cleaner by EGO. As soon as the there’s a sale, definitely getting it. A second hose/or washing out the hose before use as a blower would be beneficial. Would not want to blow debris out of the hose after using it as a vacuum.

@@PanTheOrganizer WOW!!! THANKS BROTHER, FOR REAL!!!! Appreciate it
The EGO line are good products and I considered buying one of their cordless ones to dry our cars with.
Thanks Ruben! Happy new year!
It would be cool if ego made an adapter to be able to plug it in like a regualr vacuum. I bet they'd sell more of these. I think a cordless backpack vacuum from ego would have more utility.
@@colonelkfc33 -I was thinking the same thing. They should either build them as a hybrid or offer an adapter that allow you to also plug it in.

Great review of a great product. Would have liked to see it in action, comparing it to the corded unit. Definitely considering purchasing.
I did put a few b-roll clips, but there's not much to see here honestly, it's just a vacuum haha. What was most important is all its features, which show how well thought out this is.
Thank you for this comprehensive review of the EGO cordless vacuum.
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for watching Greg!
Hello Pan. Awesome job as usually. Thanks for reviewing this battery vacuum. There’s a bunch of nice features. I use a corded Ridgid vacuum and have a M18 Milwaukee for portable jobs. EGO makes a nice product. Have great evening.
Thanks Jim! Happy new year!
Happy new year to you as well!
3 dB is a doubling of power

Thanks for the very detailed feature review. .
Would be interested to see a functional comparison with the Rigid - vacuuming sawdust, sand, etc...
Keep up the great work.

@@PanTheOrganizer Have you been able to get replacement bags? I'm a little peeved at EGO for not having them available to buy.
I like the on/off from the cuff, Festool does that on their corded vacuums. It looks alot like my Milwaukee on the inside. thanks for sharing pan.
Thanks for watching! Happy new year!
Thanks Pan for the full review, looks like a legitimate vacuum. EGO should give you your money back for this info share. I trust you & your family had a great Xmas 👍 keep up the great work 👊
Thanks Simon, happy new year!
I like it! Look like we'll thought out units can take anywhere!! 👍🏼🇨🇦
Yeah the thoughtful planning of its design is pretty amazing.
The blower only works when you connect the hose to the air outlet hole. It doesn't operate when in vacuum mode. ;)
@@PanTheOrganizer Interesting, so the vacuum’s exhaust is where?
Hey pan, another well executed breakdown of this machine. Look forward to the next one 🎉

@PanTheOrganizer happy new year pal and not long until we're both 43 🤣
They really put time and thought into this cordless vacuum.
Sweet unit!! i love my Bosch though...might be a consideration in the future since i have the blower, hedge trimmer and weed wacker..
You're very welcome! Happy new year!

This is pretty sweet! I wish I needed a vacuum.
Lol that is great, that's seriously what I've been thinking for two straight days. I have several of these tools from Ego And now I want the vacuum and power washer but don't really need them right now.
Pardon me if the question has been previously addressed.
Is the new Ego RipClean ready? Should be right?
Anybody?
Any plans of a smaller size from EGO... if so I think that would be the winner winner... Good Stuff Pan appreciate it 🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻
Yeah a more compact 4-5 gallon unit would be cool!

How strong is the suction? Would love to see this in action.
If they make a smaller version, I’m all in.
The EGO cordless options are attractive to my mobile detailing, both this vac and the new pressure washer.
Thanks for watching and happy new year man!
Impressive vacuum. I'm just having hard time with price point nonetheless 2 fantastic vacuums but I'll stick with my rigid.
Happy new year! Yeah the Ridgid vacuum is hard to beat as far as bang for buck is concerned.
Ohh Pan I would give to get this guy but that price is 😬😬😬 Maybe one day I'll be able to get it because I'm sure the technology and longevity is worth it. Seems to be a very premium product! Thanks as always Pan for your insight 🙌🏽
Thanks for sharing! What's your current go-to vacuum for detailing?
@PanTheOrganizer I've been using the Rigid for a few years now, and it's a great little tool that gets the job done consistently!
I think Ego nailed it with this one!
They sure did! The price is a bit steep, but performance and all the practical things about it are awesome.
Where did I put that gosh darn stubby nozzle?
Very cool! Wish more shop vac would actually store the accessories. 👍
That would be cool!
How i can a get That ? Any specific Websites ?
The batteries need to be of equal capacity, of relatively equal age, and fully charged.
wow thats great. I can't wait to get my hands on one of those

Lol Pan sounds like you been watching to much JayzTwoCents 😅
Haha!!
In comparison with our Milwaukee dual M18 batt. 9 gl, the only feature it will envy, has to be the remote start and stop. Price wise it’s about the same. Milwaukee with x2 m18 12AH it’s like $600
sooo basically we would love to trade ours for the new ego but they don’t come in black and red 😅 #mta thanks for the review Pan 🫶🏼🎄
Wow 🤩 definitely going on the list for wants
Great video
I am becoming a big fan of EGO
Like their leaf blower and snow blower
Looks like an impressive machine. A lot of thought obviously went into its development, but I have noticed that trying to become “green” can become an expensive hit to your pocketbook. I have the Rigid vac, and it delivers every time. I guess they know the market and I was surprised to hear you say that they were selling quickly. All good, another great video. It’s always a good day when you learn something new. Till the next one.
Happy new year Wayne!
@@PanTheOrganizer Happy New Year to you Pan and your family. Here’s hoping the million subs happens and continues your success.
I would like to see a review on the Ego light
My Ego blower overheats constantly when using, disappointing. Turbo mode triggers the cutting out issues.
That's super odd. I have owned a 580 CFM, now my 650 CFM, both for years without issues, and I bought a 580 CFM to my dad too, and he also never had such issues.
Did you try contacting EGO about it?
@PanTheOrganizer no I will in the Spring. Keep up the great content Pan!
Thank you for the info before we purchase one!!
Thanks for watching! Happy new year!
Happy New Year to you too, buddy!!!
got the ridgid cordless. but may need to swith to this
Can the device get up lawn leafs?
Pan, review the EGO battery-powered washing machine, I was very curious about it, especially since I live in an apartment and don't have access to water. Thanks.
I placed my pre-order as soon as it was available, so I'm looking forward to receiving my unit sometime in early 2024 I think they said.
Can you review black line products? I was wondering if it is worth buying
Can you compare this to the Milwaukee dual battery vacuum?
Pretty cool. Great features.
Thanks for watching!
It's cool but the price point is just to much to justify more waste
Tried it. Returned it. Not that great for auto detailing. Lacks power. VeryCool features though. Rigid vac still my #1 vac for detailing.
This is an exciting one!
What is your current vacuum?
Hey Pan! love the videos.
I do just have 1 question, it isn't really related to this video but i'm just wondering if there is some kind of hand held blower that would be good for interior dust ? I can't afforded a compressor just yet so i'm opting out for a smaller cheaper soliution
If you have an air compressor, you can buy this tool: amzn.to/3vbwWhe
I made a video about Tornador tools here: ruclips.net/video/UPjFPdaAEj0/видео.htmlsi=1RiJW0frSX5qvaFB
If you don't have a compressor, you can get a small simple blower like this: amzn.to/3vr44Sb
Perfect! thanks mate !
