    Amazing content and treehouse, i enjoyed watching your video. I was super impressed by the wind movement solution as I will have this issue too soon when I get there. (building my first treehouse.) Thank you

    Looks good but you installed the cable clamps backwards

    • @samuelwiltzius
      @samuelwiltzius  Год назад +1

      They are installed according to the guidance of a engineer who reviewed the materials and design. They are installed correctly.

    awesome project, those stainless steel clamps at the end, where did you get those. I've been trying to find something like that.

      They are left over from deck cabling hardware (spare pieces because I used screw eyes for attachment on the string lights instead) amzn.to/3yI05T8

    Hello, New subscriber here. Cool tree house build, we plan to make one as well. Can you tell me where you purchased the big cargo net. We need one!

    • @samuelwiltzius
      @samuelwiltzius  Год назад +2

      Thanks! The net is from Pucuda Netting (netting.com) and the net type is 'Shrining Net' - It is custom made to size. I found it very easy to work with them, just give them a phone call and go from there.

    Thanks for sharing this, it is very beautiful and inspiring.
    I am looking to have similar net in our backyard. What is the size of the shrinking net you’ve used?

    • @samuelwiltzius
      @samuelwiltzius  Год назад +2

      My install is kite-shaped with a sides 7.5/8.5/18/15 feet with diagonals 11’ and 21.4’ - the actual net size prior to shrinking I’m not sure, that was left up to the engineers at Pucuda Netting.

      @@samuelwiltzius Thanks a ton, my trees are more sparse and make triangle of 45/50/20ft.
      I guess, the big size will make it pretty costly task.

    Can you please let me know where I could get the brackets that attach the TABs to the Rope.

    • @samuelwiltzius
      @samuelwiltzius  Год назад

      I fabricated them from 1/2” plate. A local metal supplier cut the pieces to size and I welded them at the desired angle. The holes were drilled using a Bridgeport milling machine.

    How has it held up? What would you do differently?

    • @samuelwiltzius
      @samuelwiltzius  8 месяцев назад +1

      At this point it’s in excellent shape - I would not do anything differently. I wouldn’t mind the deck being slightly larger which would stretch the net surface area a bit but ultimately it’s still awesome as is.
