- In this video Adam demonstrates how he creates the Ultimate Bob/Lob with versatile styling options exclusively for his clients in his Salon. The Perfect Platinum Blonde has been created by Colourist Michelle Ciaccia using Matrix Light Master and Bond Ultim8.

COLOUR DESCRIPTION & METHOD:
Lightening formula - Matrix Light Master + 20 Vol + 'Bond Ulitm8' Number 1
** Virgin root application, existing yellow blonde on Ends **
(********Please see before Pic********)
STEP 1: Apply Lightening formula from Mid-Lengths to ends approximately 1 inch from scalp, in 1/3 inch sections at a time using a Full-Head Style pattern, placing foils in between each section to separate and control processing.
STEP 2: Once ends have reached the desired level of lift apply to fresh mixture of Lightening formula to the root area. Once the desired level of lift has been achieved rinse at basin and apply 'Bond Ultim8' Number 2 for 10 minutes.
STEP 3: Rinse 'Bond Ulitm8' Number 2, remove using Biolage Hydra Source Shampoo, towel dry gently, spray Matrix Total Results insta-cure for priming hair before Toner.
STEP 4: Toned using Matrix ColorSync
Formula for toner:
3/4 ColorSync SPV + 1/4 ColorSync SPN + "Bond Ultim8' Number 1, processed for 20 minutes. Rinse when desired depth achieved followed by 'Bond Ultim8' Number 2. Remove using Biolage Hydra Source Shampoo followed by Conditioner, sealed with Biolage Hydra Source Mask.

Oh Adam, can I just ask. When you cut the fringe area, how do you judge on how wide you take the section? I find fringes the hardest to cut... any videos on how to cut a swept fringe? Thanks!

looks kinda like corner to corner of the eye? lol but I guess you could start less wide then adjust if too small than vice versa.

Iss Karma I personally don’t believe it is anything that special, it is a straight forward cut. Anyone can Do, because he has a young, beautiful girl to work on that would look amazing in any hairstyle she wore probably makes your comment a lot biased.
The haircut turned out great and I am in no way putting his work down, I just Don’t Believe that it’s as amazing as you perceive.

You're easily impressed by a textured blunt bob? And the upwards scissor technique at the end is a show stunt. Not one single whisker fell down. Hairdressing is a lot of of Bull shit artistry.
@@glorybelieve9010 You're right, it is a straight forward cut, using simple principles... but judging by how many "simple" cuts I've had totally botched I don't think I'd say its nothing special or something anyone can do. I would guess that 90% of working stylists can't actually execute this cut to this standard.

I regularly wear my hair in a lob and i have always wanted this exact cut and no matter how many pictures i've shown they never get it right it just give me complete satisfaction to know that out in the world someone can actually cut properly.

my hair dresser tried this kind of thing but in a longer version after another hair dresser cut a layer all ouround the top of my head like a bowl cut.. i was crying when i noticed at home and went back the next day and another hair dresser tried to fix it.. i have to wait until the layer grows out but thank goodness its blending in now.. im sick of hairdressers that cant cut hair and dnt give a crap about their clients hair!
I was mesmerised by this wonderful video - you are simply the best hair stylist, hairdresser and technical hair cutter I have seen! This was amazing and it showed how life changing a wonderful haircut & style can be! I so admire hairdressers/stylists but sadly the really good artists are few and far between.
You explained everything so well and even at the end - showing how to style and change the look and then allowing your client to show how she does her own styling - absolutely brilliant.

Adam you do an amazing job I love Matrix products and have used them 30 years or more also I would like to comment on your beautiful model I am 72 years old( feel 30) I have a beautiful 31 years old daughter who has gorgeous red hair coming from my grandmother) not only is this model beautiful she is beautiful inside and out, someone did a vey fine job of raising her she is well disciplined and she obviously cares for herself very well .
