Testing Shrine Aqua Drop It Hair Dye | *DOES IT WORK?*

This was a complete fail and I am so disappointed with the results, the thumbnail was taken a week later and that is what my hair looks like after 2 washes.

Hey chicken, little tip, u said u put a conditioning masque on after washing, should only really dye hair on unconditioned hair so it can grab onto the hair. Try doing it again with just a pre shampoo xxx

Hey, so the shrine drops are a temporary colour meaning that it will wash out within a few washes and that’s probably why when you rinsed your hair you didn’t see the colour coming out.
Also, your hair would need to be a lighter blonde for a blue/green to work.
If you’re after a more permanent solution that just needs to be topped up occasionally you’re better going for a permanent dye not a temporary xx

Hi, I use live semi-permanent electric blue usually I just thought I would change it up a bit and see if it would work on my hair. Thank you for the advise about being more blonde, I will take that into consideration next time :) x

What went wrong is your meant to have really blonde hair and yours was more yellow. Yellow and blue don’t mix well. If you lighten your hair it will work. Otherwise it won’t xx

If you dye your hair blonde 1st then shrine colour it should pop 🎵

Also u need to lighten the blonde more a bit more to a white before adding blue otherwise the blue mixes with the yellow of ur hair to make a green. 😢
