We were always taught in hair school, Dirty hair for bleach and cleanclean hair for toner. Any little thing can make a toner shift. Hair oil, hair products, alwayss tone on squeeky clean hair! Soo soo good. And livinggg for the length on you 😍❤️😊
I love this toner line so much. My favorite one is "biscuit", it tones down my blond so beautifully for a slight creamy brownish blond. Schwarzkopf truly scored with this one!
These toners suck when compared to other brands. Her hair looks kind of yellowish, and her roots are definitely yellow. In my opinion the blondme range is so overated, their bleach is incredibly harsh on the hair. The only time when I got uncontrollable breakage was when I used blondme bleach. There's some controversy about it but I prefer to use permanent colour + 3.5vol h202 to tone bleached hair. You definitely get far more colour deposit than with semi/demi permanent colour. Personally, I love fanola no yellow range, both the permanent colours as the toners (t.02/t.21/t.11)
I use the Sand toner and just love the end result. Occasionally I will add a touch of Strawberry for pearl tone and I've also mixed it with Ice. I tend to leave the toner on my roots for 15-20 minutes before covering my mids and ends for a quick five minute refresh
Pro Tips: Apply to dry roots. The midlengths and ends are suggested by Schwarzkopf to be damp because that little bit of water in the hair is a buffer prevents over deposition of the base color’s tone (violet, violet-blue, blue, blue-violet, etc.). That being said, if the regrowth is dry, it won’t over deposit because the prelightened root hair is not overly porous like the midlengths and ends. Second, and more importantly, NEVER emulsify any color in to the hair between the application of the toner to the hair and the end of the processing time. Here’s why: all permanent and demipermanent colors are in a shampoo base, meaning all permanent and demipermanent color tubes/bottles of liquid/gel/cream cream color contain shampoo. So, if you emulsify the color on hair that is damp after the color is applied to the hair…..this will prevent the correct development of color molecules. In other words, never emulsify color until it is fully processed for the full amount of time. Regarding “processed for the full amount of time” is yes going to be the full 30 mins on prelightened roots that have been blown dry and on prelightened midlengths and ends. Again, that’s why the midlengths/ends depend on that dampness to eliminate the ability of the permanent/demipermanent toner to over deposit. Again, apply permanent or demipermanent toners to dry retouched prelightened regrowth then immediately to damp midlengths/ends WITHOUT emulsifying with water until only after the full processing time has occurred. The prelightened the dried regrowth must process the full 30 mins for the most durable result. Start that 30min timer the second you’re finished swiping the toner on the last subsection of the regrowth, then immediately apply to all midlengths and ends with massaging the color through. The easiest way to fully saturate the damp midlengths and ends is with smaller subsections for brush/bowl. Rinse at the end of the 30 mins timed from when you covered the last root application subsection. Love all your videos. You’re absolutely hilarious, and as a pro it’s nice to see someone helping DIYers learn more about how to do their hair on a budget. You’re hilarious, have a heart of gold, and are helping a lot of people do right by their hair.
You really need to try the Swartzkopf Igora 9.5- series!!! They are STUNNING!! If I ever need to brighten and tone my blonde at the same time, i will even use something like Igora Royal (permanent) 9.5-19 with 20 vol. The shades are the most beautiful, creamy, pastel tones ❤
Yes go for it Girly Pamper your Mom ....... Take Care and God Bless to You, Family and Friends... by the way smilely slippy are awesome :) my mom has them.
More pro tips: So you can process your toners for the full amount of time (important to do so because the pH starts out higher at just mixed and in the hair than the pH it is, which is lower, on the hair after 30 mins). This is very important because the whole time is necessary for the colorless preformed dye intermediates to become many long polymer chains of color. Less time: zero fewer long chains of color (fades FAST!). Full 30 mins: hair is full of tons of long chains of color. To make this happen on hair that has experienced a history of multiple processes, the following treatment is a MUST: Color care shampoo the hair after prelightener is rinsed out. Apply Olaplex No. 2 mixed with equal parts Joico Protein Reconstructor to towel dried hair. Apply with hands to ends and midlengths first. Comb through midlengths and ends. Whatever product is on the comb, tap it of onto the hair to use it to apply to the roots. Comb gently, of course. Let this bonding protein treatment dry to bone dry in the hair. Meaning, overnight or as long as it takes under a medium heat hooded dryer. When dried, DO NOT RINSE!!!!! Apply as much toner (whichever toner you use) to dry hair and process for 30. Won’t over process, and the chemical reactions of the toner, permanent oxidation and the minimal heat that produces or demipermanent’s minimal oxidation. Cover either with a plastic cap and towel and process for the full 30. Rinse, emulsify, rinse, apply color care conditioner to detangle and smooth the hair, immediately rinse ,shampoo, condition (color care conditioner for at least ten minutes, rinse, oil, blow dry. I’m sure Joico and Olaplex would LOVE to have you show people how to use their products, even in tandem with one another. Again, you’re a complete brilliant ray of sunshine and you’re absolutely the best emissary for these home coloring how to videos. Excellent!
Hola prueba a comprar el tono lilac y el hielo los mezclas y en el amarillo de las raices te.lo das y en las pumtas al final el jielo solo porque es mas blanco.saludos desde España
I have been trying to find this toner (along with the sand) on bleached hair! So glad I found you - subscribed!! I bleached my hair about a month ago with the Blondeme with 7% volume developer. I ended up with a stronger hint of yellow, almost orangey tint. (I started off with about a 4-5) I have both ice and sand toner, I don't want my hair to be too icy and hoping for a little warmer color but not too warm. I'm trying to decide between 1 part ice 1 part sand Or 2 parts ice 1 part sand with 7 volume developer. Have you used the sand toner? Or mixed ice and sand toner?
Hi, I just had my hair done and my stylist messed up, so I'm going to just be doing my hair myself from now on. She did my hair 1 month to the day tomorrow. Is it safe to use this toner yet? My hair is way to golden, so I got sand and ice and will mix. I just wanna make sure it won't be too damaging as it may be too soon. Thanks!
I got all the products on Amazon couple yrs ago when I was blonde. Been Red for awhile now so not sure if Amazon still has his products but back then it was good price.
I HATE NORWAY, BECAUSE WE CAN'T BUY DEVELOPER!! JUST THE FUC%#@ TONER!!! How the HELL can I use the toner whitout the developer???? Please anyone!!! HELP!!! I Have two toners the Wella T18 and I was soooo excited to use them, until I found out I couldn't use them whitout the FUC#&@ DEVELOPER!! What can I do?? I would be so happy with any tips 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 love you bestie!! ❤ Please help me out!
Try putting it on clean hair. Product build up can affect the end result. It's not bleach and the developer used with it is low volume, so it should not irritate even a freshly washed scalp. If you know that your hair grabs on to the pigment super quick, then of course, don't leave the product for the maximum recommended time. I'm also often getting scared and wash the toner off too soon - as soon as I see the color getting intense. But normally it's best to leave it on for as long as it says in the instruction, to give it time to develop properly (professional products).
You are my GODSEND girl - every time I need to see a toner on bleached hair and NO ONE ELSE HAS DONE IT, I can always count on you queen
Omg bestie yasssss I love you !!! 💖💖💖💖💖💖👯

Since your hair is always bleached to perfection, you watch those women with darker blonde and think, not gonna be good.
Demure, ure 😂
THATS IT LOL 😝
