Always loved engineering and cars. AMG enthusiast. Love the Porsche brand. Last year walked into a dealership in Louisiana and test drove a 2L 718, kept in contact with the crew. Got a call last month saying if I need to build a 718 gts 4.0 they have 2 allocations. Was excited but I prefer GT4 even if I’ll only get a used one. Walked into my local dealership in my current state and just based on my enthusiasm they wanted me to buy GTS 4.0 but I told them I am waiting for a GT4 with reasonable pricing. Following week got a call saying I’ll be number one on list for GT4RS with allocation from Porsche pending. Shocked and asked why. She said you live closer. I do live closer. Never bought a Porsche and when I went into that dealer I drove my 2023 V8 C63s which is the last V8 to roll off AMG plant (I personally built it and picked it up this Jan). Way to go! As someone new to the brand, I was treated respectfully but I also waited until every person a head of me with a relationship with my dealer turned down the allocation… from deposit to receiving my 911 C2S manual was just over 26 months. It was worth the wait but I’m glad your wait wasn’t as long. In a lot of ways it’s a matter of luck and timing. I will say that in my case my dealer sold me the car at MSRP and with absolutely no extra stipulations which I appreciated. I took delivery of my car in early May and I already have 3,200 miles. I love it!
Congrats on your new 911! Glad I received mine so quickly, but wouldn't have been upset if I had to wait the 24 months either. Life is all about the journey, and just being in line put a huge smile on my face. 3,200 miles, glad to hear that you've really been enjoying it! Did you wait the entire 1,875 miles before exceeding 4200 RPM? I'm struggling to keep the revs low as I'm only at 600 miles.

I’ve owned 5 Porsches, four of which were in the 991 and 992 generation from a GT3 to a Turbo S. The only Porsche that has been a long term keeper is my modded 993. The 911 was traditionally an accessible sports car that a “regular” guy could buy. The new cars are not special enough to justify all the crap that people are putting up with to buy them nowadays. Even though they are great performing cars, the allocation games and dealer BS kills the experience. People are paying 1/2 million dollars for a 911 S/T that has the same fundamental interior as a base Carrera. It’s madness. Congrats on your new 911. It looks great. It’s one of the few cars to put the same smile on your face the first drive as it does on the thousandth drive. As for Porsche, they’ve become horribly pretentious and arrogant. My first Porsche was a 944 in 1984 - I ordered it and waited 6 months for it to arrive. I’ve had a number since then - all new purchases. Currently I drive a 911 4s. I was considering a turbo s - but quickly discovered the market for higher trims has been completely taken over by speculators. Right now there’s not a single new 911 turbo s in inventory in the USA. But there’s a couple of dozen that are used - all bought by speculators, abused for 6 months, and then flipped back to the dealer. They have between 500 and several thousand lies on them and are marked up $50,000 to $100,000 over list MSRP. Porsche purposely keeps production below demand for ICE cars to force customers into the EV models that almost no one wants. Porsche has gone ultra woke - one step behind jaguar. I love 911’s. So my dad has an old 2001 Carrera 4 , and since he retired recently, and doesn’t really drive at all that much, he gave it to me and now I drive it. Despite this, I only drive on weekends as well because I already have a daily driver. But wow, what a car! It’s old but this 996 generation is superb. I’m debating on whether or not to add an aero kit to it. Even by itself, it’s still good looking.
Nice car! Just got my allocation for a 2025 GTS. My dealer (Cary Porsche, Cary NC) was able to get me one in a week, even though I've never owned a Porsche, but I have purchased BMWs from the dealer in the past. The expect delivery in late November.
Congrats on the GTS allocation and getting a .2 variant. Glad the dealer was about to slot you in quickly. I'm interested to see and hear what the 992.2s look and sound like in real life.
Congrats; I just took delivery of my 992.1 C2S 2 weeks ago and took about 6 months to get it. Also got the aero kit and same wheels but car in chalk and interior in slate grey.
Congratulations to you, beautiful car! I ordered my 911 Turbo S back in Feb. 2022, finally got it in Sept. 2023 in the aventurine green and absolutely love it!
Your perspective is good. It is about the journey. And because I had to wait so long, I had a lot of time to really study and understand options. For that reason I was able to really know what I wanted. The result is that there’s nothing about my car is change today. Seriously, it’s exactly the way I would want it. In the end the only thing I didn’t get as my build locked was a PTS. I really wanted Meissen Blue but a PTS slot wasn’t in the cards. From there I too wanted Aventurine Green but just like you that had been removed from the color chart. My salesman said I could wait for a PTS allocation or keep this one and choose another color. That was a no brainer, I chose Arctic Grey which I’ve turned out to really love. As for the miles and break-in. Yes, I did follow the recommended break-in and kept my miles at or below 4K. A couple of times I had a miss shift (because of my manual) and I did blip it above that. But not intentionally and not severe. The funny thing is that my dealership told me to ignore that and so did a friend who has been in the brand for a long time. However, I have another friend who is super into Porsche and had had nine 911’s since 1972. He’s also a national concourse judge for Porsche. He is a purist and his advice was to do what Porsche themselves say should be done - that’s the advice I took. Yes, at times it was hard but in the end I know how my car has been treated and that’s part of the joy of being the first owner.
Sounds like you're having a great experience. I agree about following the advice from Porsche, especially if you plan on the keeping the vehicle for the long term.
I'm astonished to how complicated it is to get an allocation in the USA. In september I decided I wanted a 911 GTS 992.2. I entered a porsche dealer in italy, i configured the car with the SA, signed the contract and payed 20k in advance. Delivery will be march 2025. I have zero porsche history. I just wanted one, entered and bought one. And I also got a nice discount on the price.
This just shows you how corrupt the USA market has become for Porsche. All the higher trims 911s are bought by speculators. It’s essentially the Rolex watch business model.
I just bought a new 2024 911 Carrera T with no allocation, just researching what was available through Porsche dealerships nationwide. I live in TX and ended up buying a well optioned 911 T from CA. There was an ADM, however if I purchased dealer offered options, e.g. additional maintenance pkgs, a watch, or e-bike, that would negate the ADM from MSRP. I chose their full PPF/Ceramic pkg (Xpel) and added 7 yr wheel and tire protection with a discounted price. I was going to purchase these regardless. Update: I bought my car in June there were 25 Carrera T’s a available at the time. Today there are only 4 nationwide. Glad I pulled the trigger when I did. No regrets, it’s an awesome car.
Congrats on the Carrera T! Sounds like it was a win win since you were going to get PPF and the wheel and tire package anyway. The market has definitely changed so glad you got in at the right time.
Congrats on the 991.1! Yeah I don't know how anyone manages to drive a cabriolet during the day in southern states! Maybe its cool enough between the months of December to April.
@@Engineerdreamsofficial Riding down the coast during a Florida day will explain it all lol - the beach air just hits different. Have you done any mods to your 992?
It's all a bit silly if you ask me, but it is somewhat understandable in regard to speculation. It's pretty off-putting that they try to force you into something you don't want for months. You toughed it out, but they still force you to compromise on the spec you had in mind, as you are an unworthy peon in their eyes. Like they're doing YOU a favor, throwing you a bone, letting you buy the 911. If I'm waiting months or years to order a car, I should be able to order it how I want it: stripped, loaded, green, whatever. I guess if the demand supports this system, they must be doing something right. I am very lucky, through my work, to have added lots of miles and a couple overspeeds to a 992 GT3 Touring - a dream car for me - I'm not worried about an allocation as I'd have to win the lottery first. Huge congrats on making your dream happen.
Thanks for sharing that process. I think that is absolutely bizarre process to go thru to buy a new car. Dealer required options? Allocation for a non-GT car? I have two Porsches in the garage but I bought used. I don’t have new Porsche money and from the sound of it, I’m glad I missed that experience. I’m a Porsche fan, but that seems very Ferrari-esque. Like they are doing you a favor to let you buy a car from them. Maybe that’s just the way I’m perceiving it. Anyway, your Carrera S looks nice. I can’t do black cars (even though my wife’s Boxster S is black) but red interior are my weakness. Enjoy!!
I really wanted the aerokit and at the time used 911s with aerokits were going at or above MSRP. Waiting for an allocation to buy a new Porsche at MSRP turned out to the the "economical" option. I intend on going to CPO/used route when I'm in the market for a GT car. It seems like many luxury brands exercise their leverage to control the supply/demand curve. In this case, I had to play along with the game to get what I wanted.
No, believe me I get it. When it comes to cars we want what we want and we’re gonna do what we gotta do to get them. I’m just glad I didn’t have to deal with that. Let me rephrase that….I can’t afford to deal with it and apparently it’s a blessing in disguise. The process seems less than desirable, but means to an end. Either way, I don’t mean to take away from your excitement and enjoyment. Car looks great. What part of Texas?
Agree. Consumers need to wake up and stop supporting these manufacturers. Porsches are boring. Both to look at and to drive. Any McLaren lambo or Ferrari has lot more excitement speed and supercar image than a Porsche. A gt3 RS gets treated the same as a base 911. No one cares about them
Congrats on the milestone and great looking spec, I just finished my first year of ownership with my agate gray 992 (my dream car as well). funny, i also had a Y before.
Where do you live? in Switzerland allocation process applies/applied only for GT3 RS, S/T, Dakar & Classic. Unofficial GT2 RS allocation can be discussed.
That’s crazy. Just sold my 992 GTS for Huracan. I never bought a Porsche in my life and my sales guy called me whiten a week that I have an allocation. That’s a long wait
Awesome thanks for sharing the process I always knew it was some kind of ordering process but not sure specifically how Porsche did it. Congrats on the new 911 it looks pretty sweet! I myself am strongly entertaining the idea of trading up for a BMW M car. Not sure if I’m gonna order a new M3 Comp or go for a used M5 Comp. Currently I putt around in my Acura TLX Type-S but I’m longing for a faster sedan Definitely give us a 1st month ownership review video or something if you have the extra time!
Those M cars are very powerful. I rode in a coworkers M3 and the torque was bananas! Depending on your lifestyle, the used M5 might be the ultimate daily.
Did you ever consider just picking up a CPO that was specked really close to the way you wanted it although perhaps you wouldn’t have even saved money given the pricing
Yes, that was actually plan A. However, at the time similarly spec’d CPO 992s w/aerokit were 20k over what mine cost new. That’s honestly the only reason I bought a new one, the opportunity to buy at msrp.
Stopped by a dealership yesterday and they told me it was about a 2 yr wait on a 911 but mentioned that the $2500 non-refundable deposit was required for the order and then once the allocation took place 10% of the purchase price (non-refundable) was required. Sounds like this was not the path you had to take?
wow that is slightly different than my experience. I was also told it would be a 2yr wait but that the deposit wasn't required until I actually got the allocation in 2 years. The purpose of the deposit was to "lock in" the production spot. They didn't mention if it would be non-refundable but I didn't ask either because it wasn't due until the allocation was granted. I also didn't have to put down 10%. Perhaps its because I brought my own financing. I'm going to do the next video on the financing portion of my experience.
Allocation games are so dumb. My time is worth a lot more than greasing up a dealership. As consumers, we need to reject these shady practices that create a false sense of scarcity because a dealer network wants to line their pockets by robbing the consumer.
For me it seemed more like a "set it and forget it" scenario. Get on the list, continue living life, and they call when you're up. Truth be told, the scarcity come from the factory and rolls down the dealers. If each year Porsche produced more than 50k 911s worldwide, there would be more supply for everyone.
You dont need an allocation for a Carrera S with aero kit... my father walked into dealership a few months ago an was offered it xD legit one of most common Porsche's on the road atm/most affordable...... DONT BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU SEE ON THE INTERNET PEOPLE!!! guy acts a lot more special than what he is.
@@joshm6884 I can believe it, but today is a tolerably different market. My journey started when I walked in the dealer June 2023. The market was different 16 months ago.
I didn't ask, but from what I read some of those options make the vehicle more sellable if you 1) don't follow through with the purchase; and2) when/if you trade the vehicle back in to them.
Sounds like you made out nicely! Luckily the required options were on my list. Really glad about the extended fuel tank. We will see how the year 2 maintenance plan pans out.
@Engineerdreamsofficial When I took delivery, they pushed the pre purchased maintenance. The implication was, I would be better positioned for a GT3 allocation if I purchased more services. I added PPF and 2nd service.
This was a requirement for me! When I first feel in love with the brand, I wanted a GT4. However, a wife and kid later the 911 was the best options because of the backseat.
Boy got taken to the cleaners! Dealer required options?! Please! Also, these are not "brand ambassadors". These are sleazy car salesmen. Best to find another dealer in a not-so-populous state/city who will actually give you a dealer discount for placing the order there instead of make you jump through hoops.
Interesting perspective, but I disagree with the name calling and generalizations. At the end of the day, selling cars is a business and the sales folks need to make money just like everyone else in this world. As mentioned in the video, I walked into the deal familiar with the modern luxury brand buying experience and the associated requirements. I'd expect a dealer discount or markdown for a vehicle on the lot, but I went a different route by placing an order.
I have a Model Y performance and am considering a 992 gen 911 Carrera 4S. In your opinion, what's better about the Porsche compared to the Tesla? I know speed is similar, that's about it
It all depends on how we define the word "better". The Porsche 911 looks 1000x better than any Tesla. Depending on where you live and your lifestyle, you might see
hi, congrats, this 911 gen looks soo nice especially with an aero kit and must be so fun to drive. if its not too indescreteare are u an engineer ? i am very interested in your carreer and how you managed to afford a new 911.
"Brand Ambassador" 😂😂😂 "car salesman" you mean...the dude was shoving slow selling and CPO crap down your throat to make you think you've to "earn" your right to spend money on a mass produced 992 turbo lol...
If you are a prospective customer looking to buy a new Porsche and you play these silly allocation games on base level 911's then you are a fool. This type of stupidity and greed is usually reserved for the limited cars (RS cars, Speedsters, anniversary editions etc.) Stop engaging in these stupid games, people. You are the customer. You are leading this transaction. They need you in order to have a successful business. Get a clue.
S and GTS aren't base 911s. Depending on which dealer you talk to, the base 911 are some of the harder allocations to come by (outside of GT cars). However, I get your point that one would expect more of a challenge getting an allocation for a GT car and other ultra-limited trims. Nevertheless, the data highlights the supply and demand principles that many luxury brands use to develop their sales strategy. Porsche delivered 50k 911s worldwide in 2023, which was 24% higher than the 2022 production numbers (see source 1). In the US, there were only 11k 911s produced (see source 2). Based on that data, it appears there are far more 911 buyers than 911s coming off the production line. I'm sure there are at least 50K buyers in California alone who would want a new 911 (agnostic of the trim level). This is a strong indication that Porsche is leading these transactions and have plenty of buyer's that will keep them successful for another 76 years. It was interesting to learn about when I was conducting research. I went to 4 different dealerships in 2 different states and they all asked the same 3 opening questions.
911 S trim starts at 131k USD and depending on options can quickly run through the roof. Realistically, a new 911 S that is reasonably optioned will be 150-200k after sales tax.
Your experience was similar to mine. I had to go to several dealerships in Chicagoland before finding one that had a reasonable allocation process. Never thought buying a car would be such a "privilege". In any case congrats on the 911!
Yeah it is an interesting experience but adds to the exclusivity of the brand. Some folks really enjoy having a car that not everyone can just walk into the dealership and buy. Not a huge deal for me, but it does make the experience more special when there aren't thousands of your same car rolling down the road.
It seems to me I would have to kiss a** to spend lots of money on a product that I worked for many decades. Taking it to a dealership for maintenance is a markup itself. Imagine if all businesses did this! I'd say kiss my ass and purchase one privately.
I can only imagine what the maintenance cost difference is between the dealership and a private shop. I plan on purchasing a used GT4 in the future so many I'll do a maintenance cost comparison.
Mannn you’re too nice of a guy…. They told you what options you “needed” to get… and proposed you MUST buy the pre paid maintenance ? I’m glad you got what you wanted; but remember that the ball is ALWAYS in your court as a buyer. Maybe not at that dealership, but others surely.
I’m not buying a car I don’t want just to buy one I actually want. I rather buy it 2nd hand. Doubled depreciation for two cars and doubled interest on finance is just bullshit😂

No matter the generation, all 911s are stunning IMO. Might be cool to add the aero kit to refresh the look.
Congrats man! first time learning about allocations. I hope to get more of this. Helps me brace for my dreams
Yes, getting as much information upfront will definitely help manage expectations and will overall improve the buying experience.
Congratulations, I hope you love every minute behind the wheel!!!
Nice car! Just got my allocation for a 2025 GTS. My dealer (Cary Porsche, Cary NC) was able to get me one in a week, even though I've never owned a Porsche, but I have purchased BMWs from the dealer in the past. The expect delivery in late November.
That is my closest dealer as well, do you know if they had any 992 turbo s allocations available too ?
Congrats on the GTS allocation and getting a .2 variant. Glad the dealer was about to slot you in quickly. I'm interested to see and hear what the 992.2s look and sound like in real life.
@@HiHi-bd4rn Turbos at the time I inquired, no. Said it would be at least a year for on one of those.
@@Engineerdreamsofficial Thanks. When mine comes in, I'll do a short review.
@@jerryscaptures2438 when did you place your order to able to arrive in November ?
Congrats; I just took delivery of my 992.1 C2S 2 weeks ago and took about 6 months to get it. Also got the aero kit and same wheels but car in chalk and interior in slate grey.
Thanks! Congrats on your new ride. How are you liking the slate grey interior? So far is it holding up well against dye transfer from denim?
What do you do to be able to afford a Porsche if you don’t mind me asking?
Congratulations to you, beautiful car! I ordered my 911 Turbo S back in Feb. 2022, finally got it in Sept. 2023 in the aventurine green and absolutely love it!
Congrats on the Turbo S! How many miles have you driven so far?
@@Engineerdreamsofficial Thank You and I have 1,144 on it. I am driving this one more than my last one:)
Good for you - you must have a significant history with the dealer to get the turbo s allocation.
BIG Congrats!! Love the milestone how you were able to obtain the allocation not to mention beautiful interior. Enjoy and look forward to updated vid.
I waited about 18 months for my 24 RS3, so I think you did well getting it that quickly!😅
Thanks for sharing the process. Congrats on the ride, it's beautiful!
Amazing bro! Love to hear your story! I just scooped a 991.1 TTS July 3rd! I'm here in Fl so I know that heat you are talking lol!
Thanks for sharing. Would love to see a longer video on this topic with some things you've learned since getting the car
Great idea. I'll add a 1 month review to the list of videos.
Thanks. I bought in the Houston area.
I’m in the Austin area.
Thanks! Congrats on your Porsche anniversary. Is the 911 your daily driver?
@@Engineerdreamsofficial Yes its my daily, but idk if Coffee runs during WFH counts. What about you?
Congrats. Very few people are able to do what you did , thanks for sharing! Good luck…
Thanks for the positivity! My dealer gave me a great experience.

Thank you! I'll aim for a longer format next time.
Congratulations, Great Build.
Congrats on getting your dream car. Informative video too!
Where do you live? in Switzerland allocation process applies/applied only for GT3 RS, S/T, Dakar & Classic. Unofficial GT2 RS allocation can be discussed.
I’m in the USA. Sounds like things are much different over there. Glad to hear the process is more streamlined somewhere.
That’s crazy. Just sold my 992 GTS for Huracan. I never bought a Porsche in my life and my sales guy called me whiten a week that I have an allocation. That’s a long wait
I did the opposite. Sold the huracan for a 992 4 gts
You both have interesting experiences. What drove your decisions?
It looks very nice chap, well done
Thanks a lot!
This is the perfect spec, looking for a used one of this same color package and everything.
Is that Porsche North Houston? I bought my used C8 from there last month. Very kind people. The car looks amazing. Congratulations.
No, but I heard good things about that dealership. My neighborhood picked up a few allocations from there.
Not only the allocation, but the waiting. At one point 992.1 CS2s were 18-24 months out cuz they were so backed up.
Exactly. Most generations, especially since the worldwide event in 2022, have been backed up.
Congratulations! Nice spec.
Thanks! Countless hours on the Porsche configurator! :)
Glad everything worked out for you.
If I walk into a dealership with the money im expecting any car of my choice. This process is crazy.
Needing a certain allocation for a particular color is insane!!
Perhaps it helps for resale, but for $13k a vinyl wrap is much most cost effective.
Beautiful, Congratulations! I hope to join you someday.
Congratulations.. i got mine with the same specs .. the sale agent didn't recommend the classic rims
Congrats! Oh yeah, didn’t they have a particular reason against them?
Great video bro
Awesome thanks for sharing the process I always knew it was some kind of ordering process but not sure specifically how Porsche did it.
Congrats on the new 911 it looks pretty sweet! I myself am strongly entertaining the idea of trading up for a BMW M car. Not sure if I’m gonna order a new M3 Comp or go for a used M5 Comp.
Currently I putt around in my Acura TLX Type-S but I’m longing for a faster sedan
Definitely give us a 1st month ownership review video or something if you have the extra time!
Those M cars are very powerful. I rode in a coworkers M3 and the torque was bananas! Depending on your lifestyle, the used M5 might be the ultimate daily.
Congrats! Beautiful 911!
Good change with those indicators.
Was my very first mod!
Congrats! I learned a lot! Thank you for sharing!
Nice car I’d def. Get that targa
Congrats bro! I got a 997.2 and am saving up for a 992 GT3.
Thanks! Those 997s are beautiful! I’d love to have a 992 GT3 as well!
Congrats!!!! That's what's up!!
Congrats!!! Looks great!!!
Thanks a lot!
Congrats man ! Do you mind sharing how much it cost ! 🎉🎉
Spec'd at $170k
You dont need an allocation for a Carrera S with aero kit... my father walked into dealership a few months ago an was offered it xD legit one of most common Porsche's on the road atm/most affordable...... DONT BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU SEE ON THE INTERNET PEOPLE!!! guy acts a lot more special than what he is.
@@joshm6884 I can believe it, but today is a tolerably different market. My journey started when I walked in the dealer June 2023. The market was different 16 months ago.
Congratulations! Enjoy
what was the reasoning behind the dealership forcing the extended fuel tank and headrest crests?
I didn't ask, but from what I read some of those options make the vehicle more sellable if you 1) don't follow through with the purchase; and2) when/if you trade the vehicle back in to them.
Beautiful spec!
Congratulations!
Enjoy your Car Sir lve always would like them
nice setup. what kind of tail wing is that?
That’s the factory aerokit option
how long would it take to get a custom 911 cabriolet base model with a leipzig pick - up?
Great question. It depends of several factors, so I'd suggest you visit a few dealers in your area to see who can get you that allocation.
Wow. I received an allocation with no required options and no markup. Your dealer is pretty greedy.
Nice Spec! I just picked up my 992 Carrera T 3 weeks ago. I am also in Texas. Would love to connect!
Congrats on the new 911 T! Have you joined PCA or gone to can car meets yet (i.e., team savage or cars and coffee)?
Great to see the carseat.. think I can get the wifes approval now!
This was a requirement for me! When I first feel in love with the brand, I wanted a GT4. However, a wife and kid later the 911 was the best options because of the backseat.
I got my with only a 15% markup!😊
Great looking spec! I would like same thing 😊
Thanks! I initially had my heart set on green exterior, but I think it turned out for the best.
Looks like you're in Houston ! congrats on the 911
Yessir, thanks!
Hey man off topic where did you get the hat from it’s nice. Thanks
The Porsche gift shop. It came as a gift from my brand ambassador.
Congrats😊
Great build
Can you talk about how much downpayment and financing stuff? Plus monthly note
Sure! I'll post a separate video about that.
Depending on where you live and your lifestyle, you might see
congrats!
That’s nice!!!
Congrats
I can’t believe you turned down a Manual.
A manual Porsche is still an option. I have my eyes set on a 981 GT4 or something a little bit more raw.
I'm curious, but what do you do for work?

‘Brand Ambassador’ just means “sales rep” right?
Yup!
"Brand Ambassador" 😂😂😂 "car salesman" you mean...the dude was shoving slow selling and CPO crap down your throat to make you think you've to "earn" your right to spend money on a mass produced 992 turbo lol...
Fact! Although it is true you really do have to bend over backwards (and take it in the ass lol) to get any type of special 911 or 718.
1:48 😂 you lost me " didn't wanna *read - Don't know how to drive MANUAL 😂😂😂
I was wondering if anyone was going to catch that. Guilty as charged! LOL
so basically just wait?
I waited, but there were several options presented including: buying used, compromising on trim, trying different dealers, etc.
If you are a prospective customer looking to buy a new Porsche and you play these silly allocation games on base level 911's then you are a fool.
This type of stupidity and greed is usually reserved for the limited cars (RS cars, Speedsters, anniversary editions etc.)
Stop engaging in these stupid games, people.

Definitely don’t need special allocation for an S in Sydney.
Yeah maybe its a Porsche USA thing. I heard they don't need allocations for S trims in Switzerland too.
Cool
This buying history thing is the greatest BS in the history of selling cars
It was interesting to learn about when I was conducting research. I went to 4 different dealerships in 2 different states and they all asked the same 3 opening questions.
@@Engineerdreamsofficial Hope to see more and longer videos of your amazing car in the future, Sir! Cheers from Stuttgart Germany
How much ?
Ligit share thank you!!!
I plan on purchasing a used GT4 in the future so many I'll do a maintenance cost comparison.
there are a lot of potholes and bad roads, steep parking lots near that dealership and in that city. terrible decision if u care about the body damage
Agreed. Not the best driving experience in the inner loop, but definitely “greener pastures” out towards the burbs.
@@Engineerdreamsofficial yes, i hope ur out by the "k" area
Mannn you’re too nice of a guy…. They told you what options you “needed” to get… and proposed you MUST buy the pre paid maintenance ? I’m glad you got what you wanted; but remember that the ball is ALWAYS in your court as a buyer. Maybe not at that dealership, but others surely.
I’m not buying a car I don’t want just to buy one I actually want. I rather buy it 2nd hand. Doubled depreciation for two cars and doubled interest on finance is just bullshit😂
I can’t believe they forced you to buy the maintenance plan 🤦🏻♂️
Bought one and was given one, so it almost evened out. We'll see how pre-paying for year 2 maintenance pays off in the long run.
