With the chefman you can clean the froth tube without taking the milk container. It will use the water from the tank and never the milk and the water gonna mixes together. I just discovered that.

Chefman for $130 is a great deal. Add the 2 yr warranty for $15 and you are still under the cost of mr.coffe or similar options. I've been searching for a good espresso machine and the next level up from here is in the $350 to $500 category, I felt if I jump to $200 with Mrs coffe then might as well go straight to $350. Best value category. I wish it had bottom suction cups to hold steady when inserting milk and portafilter.

I've had several different coffee makers and espresso machines, hamilton beach, mr coffee, ninja, bunn....Mr Coffee pretty much kick's the sh*t out of all the rest of them. I've had problems with every single one except Mr Coffee.

Hi I have had my mr coffee cafe barista since 2017 use distilled water 90% of it's life. What do you use to clean your machine? My portafilter cup (the part that you can take apart like u did in video) the bottom plastic piece w/ mini screen in center how do you clean that? Mine is black I've tried everything soaking in cleaner hot hot water toothbrush scrubbing.. anyone have suggestions? Thanks in advance for you time it's greatly appreciated! Great review!

I tried both, and, returned the chefman. I didn’t like the taste of the coffee from the chefman. I like the mr. Coffee much better because I like the milk being more frothy. The chefman doesn’t do that.

Are the portafilter handles interchangeable between both machines? Like can you use the one from the Chefman on the Mr. Coffee and vice versa. I'm curious as I may need extra handles for mine.

why you use preground coffee?
it is coffee ground at an espresso grind very fine. that is what espresso is, coffee ground at a fine setting.
Your setting was higher on Mr Coffee than Chessman that's the reason you got more froth. I have both and the Chefman is superior. Next time use the same glasses, the choices you have made it appear to the viewer that the Mr. Coffee is better.

I had both. Mr Coffee died after almost two years And I decide to try something new. Not so many option on the market under $200 so I went for Chefman product. Unfortunetly I will not recommend it to anybody :( Water from Chefman Barista Pro taste terrible ruining every coffee drink. Has metalic aluminium bleach plastic taste. I run this machine multipple times but nothing helps. Being desperie I purchase this machine from two different Walmarts in Chicago and one from online during black friday . I been hoping maybe I get but luck and some how I got my machine from broken batch or something. Unfortunetly all 3 units have the same problem. Im not suprice this machine can not be sold in California. Im sure every coffee from this machines make you one step closser to get cancer. I guess machines from beggining of the year doesnt have this problem but whoever work in quality control in the factory fucked up this batch/line of product. Im very disapointed because I follow love with this machine right the way just from the look. Bottom line Im going back to Mr Coffee.
