For real right? I'm ready, Destin, Florida here and we love the northeast quadrant of hurricanes that skirt west of us. Gives us 7' swells compared to our normal 3'.

Things are changing quickly with Marco and Laura. Be able to point out to your previous video and be able to say, "I said earlier that this would happen, but, it didn't."
It's science. You give the best information you have at the time. When new data changes your prediction, you give the new prediction. What you seem to want is the ability to forecast accurately a week in advance, and that's not possible. If they waited until they were absolutely certain to tell you what's going to happen, you'd get the forecast with about twenty minutes warning. Is that what you want?

Please stop talking about the "cone" of probable hurricane path. A cone is a 3-dimensional object that cannot properly be depicted on a 2-dimensional surface like that of the earth. You should instead start using a term like "fan ," or "parabola," both of which could more properly be used. Furthermore, a real cone looks like two ice-cream cones joined tip to tip. No weathercasters seem to get this right, and they also don't get it that there is no such English expression as "50% chance for rain."
My guess is cat 3. I would say it would be a cat 4 or 5 if it wasn't for Marco which I think might lower the water temps and take away some of the energy potential.

@@andrewmarino5441 the gulf temps are the problem. They start at 86 and only climb and there is very little surface water between laura and land that is under 88 right now. Coastal waters are 90+
with all the technology we have..."a little uncertain". Look, these meteorologists are snake oil salesmen. It's irrelevant what they say. For the love of god, I wish I had gotten my degree in meteorology. Easiest job in the world. Meh, maybe, maybe not...who knows? We'll see. Yeah, cake job.
