The title of your upcoming book sounds interesting, especially given your background as a doctor but also as a scientist. Idk how expensive it will be and whether it will be available in Europe, but there's a 95% chance that I will buy it and may recommend it to my colleagues working at a high-tech company where I live. Keep up the good work!
There is a broad range of responses to Adderall, and many people require more than 10 mg for an optimal response. I have a recent video on high dose stimulants which touches on some of the research.
My 6 year old has ADHD. He is prescribed with Strattera 10 mg.. we want to start this medicine from this Saturday.. can I know at what time of the day is good to give him this medicine?? Is this medicine good for 6 year old?? Any side effects on usage of this?? Please help me with your suggestions..
I do have a video on Strattera : ruclips.net/video/xsUYWBZcK9k/видео.html Strattera has been tested far more extensively in children than in adults, and it is generally safe. It often takes weeks to taper up to an effective dose. Most people take it in the morning.
For those patients who are already diagnosed and prescribed medications via telehealth providers, will they be exempt from the new rules (i.e. will the rules only apply to new diagnosis?)
The new regulations have not yet been announced. What was proposed in spring of 2023 was that as long as you have been seen once in real life by your prescriber, you are set for life, and all subsequent visits can be via telehealth. And if you switch to a new prescriber, as long as the doctors exchange letters documenting your ADHD diagnosis and the appropriateness of stimulant medication, and the doctors include their DEA numbers, then you don't have to have a live visit with the new doctor. It seems likely that they will not make things more difficult for existing patients than what was proposed last year, but one never knows.
