Man you did us dirty showing our first videos lmao. I can’t speak for everyone in the video but a lot of my growth comes from the fact I’ve been able to rely on my team to help with the videos :) of course I’ve gained more experience over the years but I couldn’t do what I’m doing now without them and they are the best 👍
Hey Jaiden, I know you won’t see this, but you really inspired me. I was down in the dumps, struggling with depression and anxiety and you videos helped me reach out and get help. I’ve started to pick up old hobby’s and am doing better. Thank you for all the hard work you do. I truly appreciate it
I've watched my first video and man......... we've all come so far!! I think having that drive to want to improve no matter what you make, and now being fortunate enough to have such a dependable team behind me... I'm so grateful for this community
Jazza more like a really cool guy whom I respect and enjoy… I appreciate you man haha. Jeez, I got a lot to learn still though that’s for sure. A huge reason I got this far was by learning from the crazy talented people Ive worked with over the years. From the people I’ve hired to help take on some of my work load to the people you see in this vid, I would be absolutely talentless without them :) My egos ready to take credit for writing though :|. Edit feb 4th 2024: i do everything myself now. I'm ready to take all the credit.
It’s like making art when you were little and making more so you improve. Then you look at old art and say “WHY DID MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS SAY THIS LOOKED GOOD”
Mhm, clearly Adam has come the furthest, most improved, like wow it's so different and his animation is sooooo smooth and dynamic in comparison to the start where it was just like MS Paint lol. Like I still like his old animations actually but wow the difference is phenomenal.
Animation has improved so much through the years that it’s amazing. I used to think it was magic until I realized it was just a bunch of drawings combined in an order. I really want to learn animation because why not.
I honestly think out of all of them, Adam has definitely had the biggest change as far as quality. everyone has definitely improved and gotten better but dang Adams stuff looks like two very different people and I'm here for it
I 100% agree Adam and his team have put so much effort into his videos and they all turn out so gorgeous that sometimes the content of the video doesn't matter it's just so amazing watching the gorgeous animation behind it
Jazz’s has been such a great person and I’m almost Certain he makes all of us feel better and I’m sure a lot of us has listened to him while drawings/ doing something else
i had already known about him for months if not years and gotten bored of his content by the time my 8th grade class started talking about him because he got popular. that was like 4-5 years ago
I can't believe it has been that long since Dom and Swooozie started posting! I've followed all of these awesome people since the very beginning of their channels and its amazing to see how far their style and quality has become! Also, if anyone hasn't checked out their channels, please do so, the animation community is an amazing place to hang around ♡
Same, I've literally followed every single creator since their first video and though it's obvious that they have improved, seeing it broken down really puts it into perspective. It's wonderful seeing how they've all improved
Jazza, would you try diamond painting? I was thinking that you'd get a diamond painting kit, and then use the drills (diamonds) and canvas to create your own art. Would be a challenge since there are only so many drills you can use :)
I love how much everyone has improved over the years. Also, I was super confused when Jazza was suddenly in a judge outfit. Turns out that was the start of a Skillshare ad
Nobody is talking about the fact, that most big animators have a team who work on the animations with the youtuber, so the massive quality jump is because more than one person is working on them 👌
Omg this is the first time I was one the first viewers! Jazza I love your work and your videos are truly engaging and entertaining! Thanks for being a great role model on not giving up on doing what I love!
@Jazza I suggest you take a look at "Pascu y Rodri's Destripando la historia" and how their animations keeps improving from a whiteboard to digital and now to amazing digital sequences.
You should do this again with newer animators to the community. Some good examples are Late-August, Skywerse, TheChannelWithoutAName, and SAD-ist. All very good people who have improved a lot.
Iv'e got the bell on I'm not seeing your videos, i just realised i hadn't heard from you in ages so decided to search myself to find out you released a video 2 days ago that i really would have love to have been notified about.
As someone who is just starring out on RUclips, I found this video incredibly helpful. Thank you Jazza. My first video comes out on Friday if anybody is interested.
Okay, Jazza I'll start taking my youtube channel more seriously and create animations you can be proud of. Even if they are bad at the start, I'll still keep trying. It is time to go for it thanks for the motivation.
Probably once every few years I get obsessed with this channel and binge watch every episode then I get sad bc I watched all of them already so I stop come back a few years later and do it all over again
Love it when an Aussie is killing it in a certain subject. Your a legend mate. Wish I had your skill in this area. Loved drawing growing up but never had the help from family so had to get a trade. Just getting back into it and far out... when you love drawing its amazing how much that learning isn't a chore... its a fun pleasure. Thanks for the video legend.

How is it that nobody is talking about Alan Becker, yet his animations are top quality and gets double the views, and his videos are more of a narrative than a standard storytime animator. No shade on any of these youtubers, I'm subscribed to them all. But I just get frustrated when people talk about youtube animation, and automatically go to storytime and almost never talk about Animators putting their work into making a a series that is not about them. There are a ton of popular youtube animated series' that are on par with todays TV Animated Shows, but because it's not storytime, nobody really talks about them, even though it is very popular. (Helluva Boss as well)
Yeah Alan Becker's animations were THE shit back then and now. Still extremely fun to watch yet there's barely any talking. His original Animation vs. Minecraft video has a quarter of a *billion* views for gods sake...
am i the only one who doesn’t like what theodd1sout has become? he feels more like a business… and the animation seems, almost _too_ good for what it’s trying to accomplish
Hey Jazza! Have you ever thought of sculpting with cookie dough?? I recently saw your painting with condiments episode and think that would be a fun and interesting experiment to see you try out!
Lol this just proves something all creators know first videos are embarrassing but never forget them because everyone starts somewhere and it's good to see how far you've come
Hey Jazza, I wanted to give you a suggestion. Egg Tempera can be used as a paint and I love your videos of trying new things so I thought it would be fun ☺️
this is a definitive proof that nobody becomes skillful that fast, it's been years since the beginning and it's all around experimentation and this can lead anyone to success or even self acceptance also seeing me fav animations in the comments section do bring a smile to me face
Yeah, eventually the key is to practice as you work, learn as you do and improve while you are at it... Can we talk about how Illy’s progress was THREE YEARS. That’s wild. Very well done.
She also started with the "highest" quality from the get go.
I can feel the second hand embarrassment James, Jaiden and Adam will get watching Jazza react to their first videos.
Right 😬😂

Love to see Jazza taking a look back like this - I think about those old videos often, as well as how far the creators have come.
Perfectly timed with Jaiden's goddamn anime opening now! XD

I feel like the series you're currently doing is called "Jazza Avoiding Doing Art"
To be fair, he is in the middle of a massive move to the new big studio, the options are no videos, or easy videos,
"Jazza Critiques" would be a good series.
