- Hello Everyone! Today, we take a look at one of the Mills successful properties. Welcome to the Colorado Mills Located just outside of Denver in the suburb of Lakewood. This mall has a lot in store and is a behemoth of a shopping center. With over 180 shops and restaurants, this is one of the largest shopping centers in Colorado and continues to live on with success serving the western suburbs of Denver. Sophia even joins me in this one! Let's check this mall out!

The Niemann Marcus Last Call store was next to entry 2. I visited the mall once more recently-- quite early this year, before you came to Denver. I was surprised to find a Five Below there in my visit since I don't usually see five below stores in malls... pretty sure it wasn't there in my visits in past years. Also in my visit, I ended up doing a video of the abandoned On The Border Mexi Grill across the street from there. Can't wait to see what else you got of the Colo area malls! To answer your question and quote a song, it's got a lot of life to live.
I like Colorado mills, I just like the mills Coorperation in generall they make these fever dream malls that make u go WOW!!!! If u really want to see a mills mall I suggest Sugerloaf mills in Atlanta GA. There is still some mills cooperation stuff left in there, the food court recently got taken down unfortintly last month. Sugerloaf Mills is stuck in time, with some store fronts still having the mills theme to them a lot if the background walls have been taken down but some of the still exist like in neighborhood 2, half of Neighborhood 1, some in Neighborhood 6, and only a teeny bit left in Neighborhood 5. All of Neighborhood 3 and 4 have been taken down the themes in between them have also been taken down however between neighborhood 3 and 4, the for the neighborhood number is still there 😅and Simon actually painted it in late 2021. But the mall is having a super slow process of becoming a modern mall. I just thought I suggested it to u since u had so much fun on your Colorado Mills expedition. Have a great day. 😊
Colorado Mills is a nice mall. Parts of it fade in and out over time - right now the entrance by the movie theater and the Yard House has a lot of closed shops, but it looks like something new is coming in.
I'm fond of those weird chairs in the food court - the notch in the back of the chair lets you hang a bag or a purse off of it.
2nd & Charles, a new/used book/video/music/toy shop, is now open and a lot of fun - I guess it's an anchor? But the Forever 21 closed. But we might be getting in a Cheesecake Factory, so I guess that's something?

Saving this vid because up until January of this year i was working in that small business to the right at 22:55 and it had a lot of good memories that id wanna reminisce about in a couple years. Cheers on the content!

You should have seen this place back in the early 2000’s. 2003-2005 there were so many more stores and way more interesting
I remember a glow in the dark miniature golf place that was so fun to play at. But it did not open back up after the hail damage and remodeling. There is a regular miniature golf but plain. I miss the original.
I still go there a lot A YEAR LATER I STILL GO TO COLORADO MILLS MALL A WHOLE LOT!!!!!
There used to be a Sanrio store there across from the Orange Julius/DQ and I was so sad that it closed.
I live within a mile of this mall and while I don't visit it much anymore, I'm glad it's been successful. Ten years ago it looked like the mall was on its way out. It's become a great place to take kids, and you'd better bring a bunch of cash if you do. There is SO much to do there. The only downside is that there was a classic video arcade which closed about ten years ago, and I liked it, but I'd usually be the only one in there. It couldn't have been profitable.
Mills malls come from my homestate, VA! Potomac Mills was the first one!
That's my home mall still successful. It opened 37 years ago in Sep 1985 and brought one of the first Ikeas to the United States
Potomac Mills Mall in Woodbridge, VA opened 37 years ago in September 1985 making it one of the oldest mills mall and is still a successful mall. It brought one of the first Ikeas to the United States, however, the Ikea is now it's own building instead of the mall. The mall also has a Costco, only accessible from the outside. The mall has over 200 stores, AMC Theater and Round 1 Bowling. Of course, the Simon Group owns the mall.

Great video! Gotta love the personal touch as well. I noticed it said no filming for commercial use...but technically you're not intending it for commercial use, and the sign also said it was permitted for non-commercial use.

Andrew, if you made it out to Colorado, come through Kansas and check out the Oak Park mall in Overland Park Kansas, as I’ll be moving there(not in the mall, but the actual town! Lol) and would love too meet you! This is like the only actual mall still in Kansas City on the Kansas side as well as Missouri, that hasn’t yet been demolished, (and this mall is still thriving) other then Independence Center not far from where the Royals and Chiefs play. Most all the other malls that used to be in Kansas City have been demolished. Metro North, Bannister, Blue Ridge, Metcalf South, Indian Springs, and the Great Mall of the Great Plains.
