Outstanding video! I'm very grateful for your the amazing vistas and for your professional effort at presenting the Galapagos Islands as the paradise that they are.
Oh thrilled to hear it helped. I'll have another video from a different company in a weeks and hopefully a RUclips live right after to talk about Galapagos as I've been three times.
You are so right about tuna, when I leave Ecuador I always bring back can of tuna to Toronto Ontario because Ecuadorian tuna is so good. Love your videos.
Your adventures to Puerto Ayoro were very enticing. The videography and narration of all the hotels and restaurants were very professionally presented. I enjoyed this video immensely.Ecuador must love you!
Nicely done, it's like I was along for the exploration. It's always about the fauna and flora and this was a delightful exception. I really had little idea about the town and living aspect 'till you came along.
Never realized there was a town of such size in the Galapagos. Pretty cool. I'm still salivating over that octopus salad. Wow! That soup with the almuerzo looked great too. I share your love for yucca. I put it in soups in place of potato all the time.
My parents were settlers in Puerto Ayora in the late 70s. It has changed so much since we were kids running around on the unpaved roads. Btw you passed by my family's land..the corner lot boarded up.
@@ayngelina We went back 9yrs ago. My husband really hated Galapagos because it was so hot. My mom and brother go back every three to four months. Did you like it there? Didn't you find it boring after the novelty wore off?
So it really depends on when you go. I've been there in November, February and May. And it gets progressively hotter at each visit. Next time go in November for your husband. I think for me as I'm always looking to learn about a place so I can share on my website and now video it wasn't so much a novelty because I really wanted to know what it was like for people who lived there. When I had a rental for 5 weeks it became normal life, except with sea lions.
Thank you so much for another great video! I didn't realize tuna is so great in Ecuador. I'll have to have some on my next trip! The brujo did look amazing!
Great as usual. I like squid and I have not had octopus yet that I have been a fan of. You mentioned that it there was not much flavour but I have found it more on the mmm, what words am I looking for? Keep 'em coming, love the food and your adventures.
Octopus really doesn't have a strong flavour, which is why it's almost always either charred or cooked in a sauce. But like squid, you need to cook it on high heat otherwise it is chewy.
By the way, kudos to you as you maintained your focus remarkably well when the background noise at the local almuerzo lugar started to become what would have been too distracting for many. Honestly, the background chatter helped add to the authenticity of feeling like we were there. One more thing... This is by no means a complaint, however an attempt at being helpful. Right at about the 13:15 point of the video the subtitles begin to freeze, and don't seem to catch up. I played it back on a separate device, however the results seemed to be the same. If it's something relatively easy for you to fix great, if not no worries on our end. I'm sure it's a big surprise, however if it's helpful, we were playing it back with Spanish subtitles. Again, we're very thankful for your multi-lingual efforts.
Oh this is frustrating, it happened on a video a while back too. It's a RUclips glitch...I'm going to have to look into this. Thank you for letting me know.
@@ayngelina I can only imagine how frustrating this must be. You said previously that FB makes transcribing/translating easier, however I imagine a RUclips channel presents a host of benefits unavailable at the same level on other platforms. Hopefully, as they've done with Voice, Google will identify, and own the glitches. Obviously, like yourself our hope is they make fixing them and making the process easier for content producers like yourself a priority.
@@ayngelina I'm sure you're 100% correct. The good news is, when we've reported to you about subtitle hiccups, it's all we've seen. We're not "sandbagging" anything. Overall, it's been excellent, and thanks to your language efforts, you've allowed us to hook in a larger audience in our house. We genuinely look forward to viewing these works of art together. You're making the world a better place!
Thank you so much for your very informative videos…..can you tell me, with watch equipment you are shooting….I’m going on 4 weeks vacation to Peru, Ecuador and Galapagos…..but as a photographer I don’t want too carry to much equipment with me….
Ayengalina, can you please tell me, what equipment are you using for shooting your videos…..I find them very good….and I won’t carry to much for my south American holiday I 1 week….
Of course, I don't like to carry much at all either so everything is small. My main camera is a Sony ZV-1, which they started selling a year ago and it's a compact camera but made for vlogging. And then secondarily when I think it's going to get wet or snorkeling I use a GoPro Hero 9 - the video is great on it but the sound isn't fantastic.
Hello thanks for your videos is the finch offers free breakfast? I’m going 3 nights and 4 days in July water is cold do you think is worth it to stay with 2 girls 4 and 6?
Finch does offer free breakfast. I would bring snacks for the girls as food on the Galapagos can be expensive as they have to fly everything over. At Finch Bay there is a pool and then the beach is ten steps away so it’s good if you want to stay in one place.
Another Outstanding Production! We remain appreciative for your efforts in expanding the language options. We see you did an interview with Capture Joseph recently, however it doesn't appear to have these options, so we'll likely skip this. Looking to grow your South American RUclips Channel? Consider following Ayngelina's lead to potentially attract native Spanish speakers.
Aww it's ok, much of it are things I cover in RUclips lives, like the practical side of living here. You know you can always just ask me directly. In a couple weeks I'll host a new live from the coast.

Thanks so much Sonia. Toronto has amazing food, I loved living there. But the tuna does not compare.

Oh thank you! I just share things as I see them 😍
Fisherman here. I have had dreams about that tuna from Ecuador! What a great time!
Tomorrow I'm heading to the coast for a road trip. I hope you subscribe to see more seafood!

I think so many people are surprised by the town. But that's really because no one shares the unsexy inhabited side of Galápagos
As usual, another angelic video 👼
I'm so glad you enjoyed it, thank you for watching 💜

Most people think that the Galapagos are totally uninhabited so I really wanted to show this side as well because it's very surprising.

It really depends on person. You can see that on Puerto Ayora you can spend $5 for lunch or $25. The same is true for every aspect.
