- In February I went to Ecuador for a months long solo trip. I spent an entire month exploring as much of the country I could. From the Amazon rainforest to the cloud forests of Mindo, hiking in the Andes and visiting the Galapagos, As well as exploring the culture rich city of Quito. This video highlights all the things I did in the wonderful country of Ecuador.

I can't spend much but it's precious so I am coming from half the earth away. May I have a suggestion please and a rough cost? I'm an experienced trekker!
Ecuadorian Amazon was the most magical place I’ve ever been. Colombia is incredible also.

What an awesome video! I went several times to South America (Peru to be specific) and explored the Incan ruins, the amazon, culture, etc. It is by far my number 1 in best adventure I ever went. I don't know what specifically makes it the best for me, but I guess id have to say it was the solidarity, stillness and humbling experience one can absorb being in those types of countries. Also the trip feeling like a whole meditation journey.
All I can say is the moment I returned to the states I REALLY took a lot of things for granted but also ended up strangely missing that simpler/minimal life, which South America gave me. As well as helping me notice how much positivity being in the present can be. Im sure Ecuador must have been a blast! Anyways, I'm done writing my novel lol. Subbed! Thanks for sharing! :)

You're so brave for going down to the Amazon and then up to the upper highlands and then to the Galapagos. In fact, in just a month you did things I would've never thought I would actually even do as an Ecuadorian in a lifetime. LOL....WOW!! Props to you...I'm very glad you enjoyed Ecuador, Alice. Amazing video and so many places you went to there, my wife whose from Ecuador went to as well back in 2017. Going back with her the end of july to Cotacachi to scout out a place to retire to. I am from the midwest USA, so going to Ecuador was really something. I hope you ate many new foods and drinks, especially humitas. That was my favorite food there, but also a snack kind of thing I think was called cana. Its basically small cane sugar sticks you chew on to get the sugary water out. I may have a sweet tooth lol. We are also planning to go to galapagos this trip too.

I simply love this. I consider myself to be very lucky to be able to live and work in the US, and yet deep inside I miss Ecuador so much, especially during Christmas time... Anyway, great job, as always.

Wow. You made a great compilation of what there is tondo in Ecuador. So many places left to see, like the coast side and the small towns with their specialties like leathers, foods, bizcochos and all of their lagoons!

Great video, Brings back so many memories! I spent a couple weeks living with the Sarayaku in 2016 I’m pretty sure that’s the same runway right by the Sarayaku land. Spending that time in the rainforest was definitely a life changing experience
