You're right. I'm the same height as Yeonjung (around 165cm) and weigh around 155 lbs (slightly overweight, I know). I used to weigh around 120 lbs a few years ago though and for me that was quite low. She has a perfectly healthy weight at the lower end of the BMI range and is criticised for it. Female idols seem to be expected to be in the (very) underweight range.

With all the pressure and biased hate she got from Produce 101 it's no surprise she may not want to participate in an upcoming reunion with IOI (could be fake news again so I left this info out) Most idols tend to crumble under this kind of hate and pressure, especially the IOI girls. Chaeyeon, Sejeong, Mina, Chungha, Yoojung, etc were all practically harassed into losing weight for being fat-shamed, yet Yeonjung really seems the most unaffected. Her mental strength is very strong and I think part of that is the "arrogance" K-Netizen keep bashing her for. She's insanely talented, one of the best vocalists of the 3rd gen, and she knows it, she's not pretending to be humble and she really believes if she's talented enough she can succeed, and so she doesn't let herself get obsessed over being too thin, this is just my guess though. I get the impression she's not so focused on her "visual" because she's talented enough without it. I always thought the “greedy” scandal was the stupidest sh- ever. This was a friggin survival show and she had SEEN that talent can’t always win, her visuals were made fun of and the only thing that was keeping her up the rankings was her viral singing ability. The strangest thing about k-pop when I first got into it is that groups actually have a designated position for someone whose entire job was simply to look pretty (the "visual"). Being pretty is not a talent! Lots of idols get scouted solely because of their appearances. It's so strange to know that you can have a career in a group that sings, raps, and dances, and you don't have to be good at any of those things as long as you're pretty. Korean culture is messed up.
I guess it isn't about just being pretty, you need to have a natural charm, graceful moves, something eye-catching while performing, it usually leads to acting skills in order to debut in movies. You may be scouted by "Beauty" but got to train in vocal and dance as well until reach an average level at least, and if they don't get other position it's bc other members are way better in those areas but it doesn't mean you're less worth to be an Idol. In entertainment companies in korea, they're adviced to stay between 40-50 kilograms in weight, that's the normal weight for them despite the height.

I think for the most part all of Yeonjungs weight changes were pretty normal and healthy. Both her weight loss/ gain looked good and nothing crazy. She had one worrying time at the end of 2017 but Starship was truly pushing all the girls way too hard to diet for Save Me Save You, Seola was also at her worst then.
With all the pressure and biased hate she got from Produce 101 it's no surprise she may not want to participate in an upcoming reunion with IOI (could be fake news again so I left this info out)
Most idols tend to crumble under this kind of hate and pressure, especially the IOI girls. Chaeyeon, Sejeong, Mina, Chungha, Yoojung, etc were all practically harassed into losing weight for being fat-shamed, yet Yeonjung really seems the most unaffected. Her mental strength is very strong and I think part of that is the "arrogance" K-Netizen keep bashing her for.
She's insanely talented, one of the best vocalists of the 3rd gen, and she knows it, she's not pretending to be humble and she really believes if she's talented enough she can succeed, and so she doesn't let herself get obsessed over being too thin, this is just my guess though. I get the impression she's not so focused on her "visual" because she's talented enough without it. But this may also come off as appearing a sore loser for not always understanding being an idol is not all vocal talent.
How does she knowing that she's more than talented enough without amazing visuals, that her voice is more important than how her face looks, makes her appear like a sore loser? I don't get that part... I get the "arrogance" part but that's really just Koreans purposely mistaken confidence for that, probably because they're bitter they're not confident like she is.

I remember Soyeon from Gidle saying that people did not want to hear her singing because they couldn't look at her (she was too ugly to them, it is so upsetting to me as she is such a sweetheart and one of if not the best rapper of her gen)
Also it is my opinion Yeonjung was not very friendly in ioi, both to the girls and on variety shows.

I always thought the “greedy” scandal was the stupidest sh- ever. This was a friggin survival show and she had SEEN that talent can’t always win, her visuals were made fun of and the only thing that was keeping her up the rankings was her viral singing ability.

The strangest thing about k-pop when I first got into it is that groups actually have a designated position for someone whose entire job was simply to look pretty (the "visual"). Being pretty is not a talent! Lots of idols get scouted solely because of their appearances. It's so strange to know that you can have a career in a group that sings, raps, and dances, and you don't have to be good at any of those things as long as you're pretty. Korean culture is messed up.
I guess it isn't about just being pretty, you need to have a natural charm, graceful moves, something eye-catching while performing, it usually leads to acting skills in order to debut in movies. You may be scouted by "Beauty" but got to train in vocal and dance as well until reach an average level at least, and if they don't get other position it's bc other members are way better in those areas but it doesn't mean you're less worth to be an Idol. The only "position" that I don't understand is being the "maknae". Like, why are you supposed yo act in a certain way just for being younger?

(For context: I got into kpop in 2019, so I didn't know about the whole Produce101 hate). It infuriates me how k-netizens treated her, to the point that even her members had to say something about it. Yeonjung has always been incredibly talented, beautiful and hard-working, so seeing her lose all her confidence, being so depressed during the show, seeing all those hateful comments... I just cannot comprehend how people could be so narrow-minded, that girl outsang every other contestant and just because she didn't fit your beauty standards she is not worthy of being in the final line-up? Jeez
I'm just glad it all went away because she didn't deserve any of that. She is now incredibly successful (probably one of the most successful with Chungha and Somi after IOI) and thriving in her career with WJSN. I'm so proud of her. Haters can suck it, Yeonjung wins in life.
