Outstanding workmanship, impressive. How durabel is the paint combination of PS-55 and the non PS blue. I would like to use on my Project also a non PS oxford green metalic colour. Is there any experience?
when I use different paints to be honest there is no general rule they all seem different the blue seemed to take ages to set hard for some reason and on a test piece of plastic reacted to tamiya white paint but maybe it wasn't totally dry not sure to well worth testing any non ps paint on spare bits of plastic 1st I always do incase. cheers👍

if You are using a non laxen paint for the color does that not crack when the body fleyes? Cause I see you write You put lexan clean coat and than non lexan paint on????? How does that work? Doesnt it chip off from the body moving?
Yes its not recommended for that reason and I don't want people to try and then mess there body's up so I always say, however some paints crack more than others so I always test my paint on off cuts of clear plastic to see and to be honest with a flat coat for the non ps paint to stick to and you can go over that again with flat clear so far on all mine seems fine if your bashing them then yes more would obvs come off but not for General crawling. If you watch my Porsche rally car vid at the end it shows after a big crash the damage it did ruclips.net/video/0_4j80tSlm0/видео.html so I just re spray that area and all good again. If you can get the colors in Ps you like you don't need non Ps but the colors I always love always seem to be non ps haha 👍😁

Yes honestly the defender body from traxxas is under ther quality in my opinion, to less Details, too much sticker for that price, with the old Ford bronco they maded a better job
Don't understand a lot of the colour decisions. White interior? Side-mirrors and snorkel in body colour? To each their own I guess, but never would have done that.
