Wow! Finally! I've been looking for some example of someone doing this paint job. Pretty much the color I wanna do with my Axial Jeep Body. Wanna use either the actual jeep green spray paint or tamiya olive drab...but either way plan to do a base of ps...thinking of trying pearl.

Great glad it helped I must admit I loved the colour and came out well compared to the other Ps colours available to choose from as I wanted the exact look of the one I posted the pic of, nothing like using the real thing haha and I always do few test pieces of plastic 1st to make sure it will look ok either matt or gloss etc to get the right finish good luck with the project sounds cool 😀👍👍

what is that thin black line you use to simulate the body panels? is it better than the pen you used for the grey defender?

I prefer the thin micron tape after trying both ways its Kyoshio micron tape 0.5mm from memory but they do all sizes as different body's have different size grooves in them

@@coajokazz if you bash it around through rough terrain bushes etc scratching the body after a while the little bits might need re attaching but to be honest mine have stayed on even after thru water really sticky stuff and looks very professional love it. I wouldnt use it if I had to re apply it all every time but keep spare for after you clean the body after a trail incase.
