I feel like some people were skeptical of rare beauty at first but rare beauty has just released such amazing products that the brand’s quality has really proved the doubters wrong. ❤ i mean the liquid blushes, liquid highlights, powder highlighters, cream bronzers, and lip oils are all so amazing

Yes!! Even though I love Selena, I still was like ugh, another celebrity brand? But it’s clear to me that she genuinely cares about making beautiful, inclusive products that can work for all different people. She’s so passionate about the brand! I appreciate how she went about making the packaging easier on people with arthritis and other mobility issues, and then advocating and fundraising for mental health. All in all, a phenomenal brand. Rare & Fenty are my only two favorite celeb brands!

I tried to do natural deodorants for over two years. I tried every kind you can think of. I wish they worked for me, but us hyperhidrosis girlies need that antipersperant action. Also your bangs are giving me major Daphne from Bridgerton vibes, but cuter! A Bridgerton inspired makeup series might be fun to do.
Have you tried the Native deodorant?

The lash serums all work because they're actually repackaged medical eyedrops! People were noticing that as a side effect they were growing extra lashes. It does mean that if you get it anywhere else by accident you'll start growing random hairs.
Hi Soph! Yes, I have found The Ordinary's niacinamide serum works better when I use it at night. However, I've discovered their hyaluronic acid serum is absolutely AMAZING and works well under makeup! The price point is also a plus.

It can peel if I use too much and I don't wait for other skin care to sink in 1-2 drops max and a good 10 mins before primer and make up 👍
The Ordinary Hyaluronic acid serum worked horribly for me under makeup 😳 it pilled so badly. The only Ordinary serums I can use under makeup are their Multi peptide serum and their Argiriline serum
Hi Soph! Sorry for being late but I may have a answer to your question about the water in America. As far as I know the tap water in America is different from the ones that we have in Europe. The water in America is pumped out from a Lake or a Water reservoir. That means you have to put disinfectants into the water. That could be chlorine or ozone. Maybe that could have reacted with your skin. Also, because these disinfectants can be expensive, many cities just don’t bother with them and pump out kind of dirty water. So yes, I believe your break out is possibly cause by the tap water in the US. Hope that helped!xx

idk will you see this but i jsut wanted to say thank you for, not only doing great content but also showing your pimples and texture on your face. It has helped me so much to be more okay with my own. I'm recovering from a hormonal acne breakout so it's been really hard feeling like im the only one and "imperfect". But seeing you and how you still do your make up and look so gorgeous, makes me feel more sure and at peace with my healing process. We're all beautiful even if we have zits and texture. Right now my favorite blush is Too Faced Papa Don't Peach, which I've had for a very long time and barely used (until now) because it was too shimmery and not enough pigment. Then I used it with a dense blush brush and now it's my fave!

I use the niacinamide serum by ordinary and the key is less is more!! When I used it at first it would pil but now I use just a pea sized about and it sits nicely 💜💜

1. It cosmetics CC+ Nude Glow SPF40. I don’t know how many foundations I have tried but I always come back to it cosmetic. Used to use de regular flow CC but this one is lighter.
2. REM concealer. Again… tried A LOT for my under eyes and right now this is my absolute favorite.
3. LHs highlighter. Golden glow without glitter.

I had the EXACT same thing with my skin last month when I travelled, literally started to feel a little irritated on the flight- was a loooong one- and over the time I was away my skin didn't go crazy bad but was so much more bumpy and textured! Used same skincare, same make up so I think you're onto something with maybe the flight and water difference impacting the skin! 🧖♀️👌🏻
Soph you should try the uklash serum!! it’s much cheaper than the olaplex one and has absolutely saved my lashes!

If it’s the ordinary niaciminide with zinc I’ve found the zinc is what makes makeup funky!
Soph it’s the combination of hyaluronic acid and niacinimide serum together that creates the balling up on the skin 😅
Try one or the other separately under your make up, both work very well, I’d say even more so the niacinimide for oily skin!! Been a follower of yours for a long time, love your nature and videos. You’re wonderful 😘💕

The Ordinary niacinamide serum is NOT under makeup friendly! I only use it at night under my night cream for just this reason. In the morning it will ball up as I'm washing my face. It does an excellent job but it will always ball up under anything.
have you tried the fenty contour sticks drawn on a brush? I use it like that & then buff it onto my skin & find its sm less muddy & I acc love it like that now! X

I really love the sheglam bronzer shade in soft tan, on my porcelain to light skin. Its more of a contour shade than a bronzer to me. - Which I love.
Also i love korean make up. I love to use romands palettes and love the kill the boss mascara in brown. - Which is very waterproof cant be compared to european waterproof mascaras.

But mind that foundation are much lighter and eyeshadows may appear too less pigmented. - bc korean make up stands for naturalness.💜😍

Try UKlash as a lash serum - it’s half the price of the olaplex one, and I promise it’s amazing. I’ve always had very short stubby eyelashes and now mine touch my eyebrows and are incredible!
I use The Ordinary Niacinamide serum under my Bondi Sands SPF (that I purchased based on your recommendation and I really like😍😍) and it doesn't ball up or pill up under makeup. However I did use it with a different SPF on top and it did pill a little, so It might be a certain ingredient that doesn't mix well with that serum. Hope that helps Soph. 🥰

I use The Ordinary niacinamide serum but only at night I’ve never tried it under make up. I use Nip and Fab salicylic acid serum under my make up day to day and it sits absolutely fine 😊

@sophdoeslife Karla cosmetics has multi chrome opal shades as well as duochromes and individual pigments (dolly and insomnia are STUNNING) and applied over their fix potion they look great and don’t budge, best thing is they come in little pots! I’m sure you’d love them xx
I'm back to absolutely loving the urban decay foundation and concealer, the concealer is the only that doesn't crease and settle into my lines as quickly as other concealers I've tried
Recently tried the Rare Beauty bronzer stick for the first time the other day (I know I'm so late to the party on that one!!) And based on first impressions it's sooo good and I finally got a hold of the powder highlighters by them too also used one of them for the first time the other day, really like it ❤❤

I had to give my bottle of The Ordinary niacinamide serum to my husband bc I could NOT get it to work for me. It would always ball up, no matter what I did/what I paired it with (this is without makeup). So you're not alone! It somehow works for his skin tho haha glad it isn't going to waste at least...

I actually tried wild deodorant ages ago when you spoke about using it on holiday and not smelling, have not stopped using it since. I now have all of my family on it, it is so much better than your standard deodrants! Its also very cost effective as i find i delay most of my orders as the refills last so long ☺️

Maybelinne falsies mascara ♥️ color pop tinted moisturizer, elf plumping gloss. Vitamin C serum that I apply at night and a gel based moisturizer. And a nice face powder.
Likely the long plane ride that affected your skin. The air circulation system on planes can draw out moisture from the skin a cycles contaminats in the air. Hot tip. Micellar water to cleanse mid flight and apply sheet mask. Highly reccomend checking out RUclips videos on in flight skincare. Xx love your video's. Your hair is always stunning!!
