Another tip for mascara is to do the bottom lashes first so then you don’t have to wait for the top ones to dry before doing them and having them smudge on your lids. Saves a little bit of time.

For anyone who’s new to makeup or doing their brows I personally find a brow powder easier than a pencil. It’s easier to fill your brows in and easier to correct if you go wrong.

Now it seems like such an obvious thing that using less product would make your skin look more natural but alas, that wasn’t the method being taught back in the day when I first started watching beauty content

As a 37 year old who is just started to wear make up. I love videos like this. So full of information. I’ve never really had a person in my life who I learned make up off of. Now as a mum I prefer natural glowy make up. Not quite got down what I like as a base tho 🤔.
In reference to the 'you don't need to do any of this' and just using a little bit instead of a thick layer, I just want to offer for anyone like me who just didn't connect the dots for a very long time... you don't have to put foundation ALL OVER your face. You can just put it in places you want to even out a bit. I feel dumb for not realizing that until my 30s but since I did, I have started liking wearing makeup a heck of a lot more. Just putting a bit on my T zone then using blush and highlight to contour my cheeks feels much less mask-y to me than a full face of base products and I also don't really have to worry about touching up my jaw/lower cheeks, which I tend to touch a lot throughout the day.

I hope they bring back the Vivid lipsticks (My favorite colors are "Vivid rose" and "Electric orange" those are iconic summer colors tho) Also, I love this cold-girl blush trend even though I personally don't put blush all over my cheeks, I just blend it out from the tops of my cheeks and put some on the tip of ym nose

Hey Soph, I'm so sorry you're sick! I have a compromised immune system, and someone recommended that I gargle with Listerine several times a day and use a nose spray that kills germs. She usually gets sick often because she works with kids.... but this year she has yet to even get a cold!! I'm sold! I hope you, James, and your families have a wonderful Christmas! 🎄🎅

If you want to do just spots, then don't use fondation. Use concealer. That's what it's for

As someone who has oily lids, an eyeprimer is gold. Because they also create a barrier, they don't just make eyeshadows more vibrate or adhere better.

Great tip to have mirror for close up and further away I do that. I find that sometimes that eyeshadow looks more washed out further away
