I regularly use kbeauty products, so i just wanted to recommend some to you! The romand lip products are all pretty popular, the clio glow cushion, wakemake lip tints, and i really recommend the twinklepop eye glitter sticks!

From what I understand, pale skin is pretty “sought after” in Korea, dating back centuries. The theory is that people who did hard labour spent more time outside and thus got darker skin, so having lighter skin meant you had wealth (I believe this is the case in some other Asian countries as well). So perhaps that’s why they have such good sunscreen, and sunscreen is in most complexion products. So interesting that in the western world people pay to get spray tanned.
Soph, that foundation looks the best I've seen to-date on you. Perfect colour and consistency. Looked natural, not cakey, and gave perfect coverage without being thick. Absolutely lovely ❤

I love the spatula, because I use thin BB creams and foundations to even out the colour, and concealer on occasional spots. Sponges suck in so much product and the spatula kinda helps with the spreading evenly, without losing all that product into the sponge. Then youcan just blend the edges and a little on top. Saves the product, gives better coverage in sheer foundations and looks amazing
I’m really excited when I saw the title 😆 Finally Soph’s trying some K-beauty. I’m Indonesian but here K-beauty has massive fans. I hope you work with Olive Young again in the future or other K-beauty brands ✨👏🏼 Their formulation is advanced in skincare (especially their sunscreen), and I believe Fenty & Rare (their newest lip products) were formulated based on k-beauty lip products because they’re known to have the most gorgeous formula on their lip tint, lip stains, etc. But however their shade range for their complexion products are an issues. 😅

Next you need to try indie makeup like Terra Moons and Clionadh 😍 I love Korean and Japanese makeup!! I can’t stop buying stuff from different brands. Highly recommend peripera lip products (obsessed with their ink mood glowy lip tints and their ink the velvet lip tints, gorgeous) I also love the Missha glow cushion foundation, I’m Meme bare cheek and A’pieu juicy pang liquid blushes, and I also love the Japanese brand Canmake. The marshmallow powder they have is the first powder I’ve used in years that didn’t look terrible on my dry skin! Finally my undereyes can be powdered and look amazing. I haven’t tried anything from Kbeauty or Jbeauty that I didn’t immediately fall in love with. So glad you tried some stuff out!!

OMG! I love this video so much! So glad you're trying korean makeup and some skincare too,they're so good! My favourite SPF is a korean one,the isnt tree SPF 50 hyaluronic acid gel it's so nice! I really recommend trying it,you won't be disappointed also the romand lipstains are amazing too! ❤
I must say that the cool thing about youtubers who have absolutely no idea about Kbeauty is that they try brands and products that Kbeauty youtubers don't or that they rarely talk about. BBIA is one of my favorite makeup brands and I feel it's soooo underrated. Also, anyone else thinks Western makeup brands are copying or getting inspo from Korean ones?.
Ohh, that mascara is looking good. I often find that even waterproof mascaras smudge in the outer corner, especially when my eyes are leaking either because it's freezing cold and windy outside or because I'm getting attacked by all the pollen in Sweden.

I love Kbeauty products, but I love western products too. My favorite lipsticks and lip tints, I love the Romand lip tint in "Pink popsicle" and also the Peripera lip tint in "Heavenly Peach" and if you don't like hot pinks, but still want something peachy pink, I recommend heavenly peach for you! also the red lip tint you chose, I'd totally wear it!
Just a little heads up: I tried using the washable cleansing pads and after a few months, I found my acne was flaring up and the only thing I'd changed in my skincare routine was switching from single-use cotton wool pads. So I went back to single use pads, and my skin settled again. Determined to try again, I persevered with the washable cleansing pads, but my acne flared up again. I couldn't understand why, because I put them in the wash after every use, I felt they were clean to use, but I was so baffled, I got one of those swab tester things, and yes it was high in bacteria. I'm not saying everyone else will find the same problem (I do use eco friendly laundry products that may not be as hard/powerful as regular products). All skin is beautiful and I loved the video Soph, but I just thought I'd share my experience in case it's worth trying for anyone using washable cleansing pads who may be experiencing a flare up. I always look forward to your videos Soph and I look forward to the next one!
Do you wash them with your normal towels and do you use your towel to dry your face? Do your normal towels never give you any issues? I wonder if there's something in those reusuable pads that clings to bacteria.
Have you tried non comedogenic cleansing balms yet? You won’t need to use washable cleansing pads if you use a balm. I also have acne and the pads are way to rough on my skin and can hold bacteria. I just use my fingers to gently rub off my makeup or cleanse my skin. And of course double cleanse after. 😊
Hi, Beautician here. Your skin is congested. Lay back on all creams ,oils or balms for a time. Use only light weight lotions/not creams and use simple soap free cleansers. Also, replace your Pillowcase once a day, it makes a difference because of the dead skin cells and oils that come off your skin during the renewal process of sleep will be regrettably building up on it. Simple steps to take if you wish. Take care

Maybe try soaking them in boiling water with some detergent? High heat kills bacteria
I do mine with my towels, which are bleached or I use laundry sanitizer in the load and no issues here. Make sure they're being sanitized!
