You were THE beauty guru for me... Last month I finally managed to get my hands on your highlighter with revolution and I was SUPER happy. And then my boyfriend got drunk and threw up in my makeup bag. I've never cried that hard. Didn't find a new one, had to get back to Brazil and probably will never see this pallete again in my life 😂
I think Anastasia herself explained how Dipbrow should be used. It's supposed to be used to draw individual hairs. Also, I remember everyone (including me ofc) going crazy about Morphe 35O, Mac Soft&Gentle, The Balm Mary-Lou manizer and they are still great products
I lost my respect for her when she took a sponsorship for hair color, and wouldn’t even use it on her own hair. However, that did wake me up to sponsorships, affiliate marketing, etc, and I’m much more picky about who I support.
@@freddyem2522 It was a long time ago. I found it for you. It’s called “Sister Makeover.” She was sponsored by a product and wouldn’t even use it on herself! That’s absolutely ridiculous.
Oh my goodness so many memories unlocked! Definitely all the Australian 🇦🇺 RUclips beauty gurus Lauren Curtis, Sharon Farrell, Chloe Morello plus Karissa Pukas (Saturday nights alright) 🇨🇦 and Shaaanxo 🇳🇿 💕
Aw, your little tangent about not giving up on yourself just hit me so hard. I got chills. I’m 18 and have been battling lots of health problems for the last 5 years. I wasn’t able to complete (or even start) high school because I was just so sick. With all of my friends off to college now, it is so hard for me to see myself ever getting there. Not only am I struggling physically, but my illness has given me such a mental block and anxiety over ever getting out of it. It’s kinda taken away some of my self confidence. You are so right though. There are going to be brighter days ahead. Thank you so much for being such a true and genuine person, Soph, you really just make my day and I’m so proud of how far you’ve come! You are inspiring ❤
You can’t go wrong with the Zoella days- I actually remember watching her first for one of her hair tutorials! I was starting year seven, twelve and extremely insecure. I had no interest in makeup but I fell into the world of beauty RUclips. Watching her now engaged with a toddler and a baby on the way is super cool, plus seeing you because I remember popping in and out from your channel!
Hi Soph, I've been watching you for a few years and just wanted to tell you that you're gorgeous. I love how you are so real with showing your skin without filters and you being a Swiftie is honestly a bonus. Love your new setup ❤️
Ok … I’m an older viewer (39 tomorrow 🙈) but I have watched you for years and years … and can I just say I so bloody proud of you … you have come so far from the days of not being able to travel or even answer the door because of your anxiety but you pushed though it and you are smashing it ♥️ well done sweetheart xxx
I wish my husband could find the courage to be able to have a proper life again he jasnt been out in 5 years due to his severe anxiety and it was 5 years ago since the last time we went out as a family , i try and be as supportive as i can but it can be so hard for both of us , ps you have been my beauty guru for as long as i can remember i love watching your videos you inspired me to get back into make up after i had given up xx
*I'm not a doctor* But the thing that helped a lot with preventing hormonal acne for me was taking spironolactane (obviously prescribed by my dermatologist). When I was on that + tretinoin there was a significant difference in my skin! Unfortunately i'm in the US and i lost my health insurance for a while so i got off both prescriptions but this is a great reminder that i should go to the derm now that i have insurance again
I was always jealous around Christmas time of the Sephora mascara and perfume vaults you could get with like 15 mini testers so you could just try them all out.
It's 6:53 am and I couldn't fall back to sleep so I went to my subscriptions and looked for a video of yours that I hadn't seen. You're one of my favs! 🩷
hormonal acne is a mood!! i feel like the week before my period & in my period i break out, the week after my skin getting over it, then one week of it clear and then BOOM the pre period starts again
Girl, I am 28 years old and I have tried EVERYTHING. I went through Accutane last year and the only thing that has helped my hormonal acne is Spironolactone. I haven’t had a breakout in 4 months. If you have a dermatologist or a family physician I would talk to them. I love your content and I understand the struggle ❤
Yes I agree 100%! I’m 49 and struggled with hormonal acne all my life, until just a year ago when I started Spironolactone. It’s the only thing that worked for me! Oral Spironolactone and topical Tretinoin is the best acne treatment combination. My skin has never been clearer. People mention the side effects of Spironolactone but I haven’t had any at all. I get mine from Apostrophe online.
Came here to also comment about Spironolactone! The girlies who know know. Of course do your research and talk to your doctor to see if it’s the right route for you!
You're the only one I watch for makeup content now. I went off Nikki Tutorials because I felt everything was an ad, Jamie Genevieve is really talented but everything she uses is so expensive
Jackie Aina, Nikkie Tutorials and Zoella were everything to me a few years back ❤ I mean they still are but back then they were pretty much the only ones
The first one I watched was Stephanie Lange. I just loved her accent and she was so fun to watch. Her channel focus has changed but, I still watch her. ❤
This made me so nostalgic 😪❤️ I don't know if anyone feels the same, but makeup just doesn't play a huge role in my life anymore, most of the time it's too time and money consuming. However, I will always be a makeup girlie. I still love watching tutorials, playing with different colours and textures, swatching eyeshadows in the drugstore, and so on. I'll never forget my teenage RUclips beauty days ❤
You were one of the first beauty gurus I watched that really got me into makeup! I bought all your Revolution collab products. Still watch you religiously! My favorite beauty gurus/creators today are you, Jamie Genevieve, Brianna Fox, Taylor Wynn, and JuicyJas.
My favorite beauty RUclipsrs (both American) are HeyKackie and HannahLouisePoston. Kackie is a wizard at color theory and Hannah is so articulate and well-spoken.
I love both of them! Hannah and Kackie give me light/neutral suggestions that I can't live without. Plus I just love listening to them wax poetic on whichever topic 💕
I've been watching you since 2016! Even my boyfriend at the time (when we were 16) would see me watching you and be like 'oh, it's Soph!' I still dont really wear makeup often but I feel like now that I'm 23, I grew up with you and your videos ❤
I might just be hormonal but god.. I got so emotional when you started talking about being younger and then growing up and things getting so much better. When 25 hit everything got sooo much noticeably easier, I was able to do all the things I wanted to do but never could manage before and it all just started working out just keep holding on guys, it does get so much better
I remember you talking about your struggles of catching the train on your own and going places on your own and I really used to relate to that. I'm so proud of you for how much you have grown and I too have faced my anxiety and can go to a lot of places on my own now! It really is about wanting to get help and actually pursuing that help.
I'm 35 and honestly I never was into watching much of you tube anything until lock down at the beginning of COVID. Now I'm obsessed with beauty content and Soph you were one of the very first people I started watching in 2020! I was watching you and like 4 others. Now there are quite a few that i follow but you are the only one left of those original 4 that i still follow and i still love your content! ❤
Well into my 30s and still managing hormonal acne (ugh!), so you're not alone in the frustration. Love your videos Soph, always a pleasure to watch, no matter what you choose to film!
Zoella was my go to for years and brought the lasting perfection concealer and continue to still use it or the new hydrating one and don't think I will ever use a different one!
Honestly you were THE OG for me!! We're the same age and I remember watching you when we were both in college and I started caring about makeup for the first time!!! You always had those mua/early makeup revolution reviews back in the day when the only money I had was the bus money I'd get, would get those £1 lipsticks and then just walk home 😭 those were the days
I've been suffering so bad with my hormonal acne too! Been to the doctors so many times and they've put me on antibiotics now which help my breakouts a little but I still suffer around my period... I feel your pain!
I’m nearly 27! I found you when I was pregnant with my daughter 6 years ago. I think you were the 2nd RUclipsr I found and subscribed to so for me you are my OG. I don’t even wear makeup anymore but I still watch every video of yours and have all your colllabs ❤️ also had the pleasure of meeting you 3 times now!! ❤️
You were my OG beauty guru! I remember going to super drug and spending my pocket money on all the products you recommended! I got the reckon foundation because of you, and the Rimmel loose powder. I spent so many evenings just watching your tutorials, trying to copy what you done on my own face! All my makeup styles have developed the same as you!! Thank you for introducing me into makeup, and for your videos being there through every stage of my life!
I have also had hormonal acne for years, I finally got a NHS dermatology referral and they prescribed spironolactone (rather than accutane which has lots of side effects) - it has been a game changer! My acne has completely cleared, couldn’t recommend more! (obvs speak to a medical professional!)
Omg I remember that girl with the white blonde hair and her mascara routine!!!! I’m such an OG RUclips girly. My current favourites for beauty content are YOU, Shaanxo, JuicyJas, Manny MUA, Kathleen Lights, Morgan Turner, Trixie Mattel. I legit don’t miss an upload from you 7! ☺️💖
I'm 30 and still get the hormonal acne and it's still something that ruins my self esteem. But you help me realise that it's normal and no one has the perfect skin ❤
I only really got in to watching RUclips make up videos 7 years ago and Jamie genieve, you, Tammy and carmen were the reasons I fell in love with make up ❤
I’m from Germany, and also my first RUclipsrs were not the one from my country, no from America and UK. After watching Zoella, my love for UK got bigger and bigger, it’s so crazy cause most of the brands are so good and the country is so lovely. I just love it
I actually wasn't really watching beauty RUclips back then, so when I started to watch this kind of content you were among the first ones, if I remember well actually You were the first one I started watching consecutively and subscribed to. 🥰 still here enjoying you content 🥹 thank you so much Sophie
You were the one I watched years ago for makeup, and nowadays, I watch you, Robert Welsh and another lady whose name I can’t remember right this minute but she has alopecia, she’s a strong woman and she’s stunning too! 💞
why am I getting emotional watching this?🥺 you are actually the only beauty guru I watch because I trust your opinion so much, everytime I want to buy some new makeup I always look for your video about it!❤
Soph, honestly you’re the only influencer I still watch regularly from like 2019 and can still say I trust ❤ thank you for never letting all the internet fame get to your head, you’re still the same sweet and amazing woman I followed years ago. You’ve taught me so much and helped me to get out of my comfort zone with makeup, so I appreciate and admire you endlessly! ❤
Back when I was growing up you were my favourite beauty guru then I slowly discovered nikkietutorials and now you two are still my all time favourite beauty gurus of all time and that is the 100% truth, love you soph ❤❤
6 months late to the party but this video sent me all the way back to college days when me and my friend would watch YT together then go to Superdrug on our breaks to buy all the new things!! Healthy Mix, Collection concealer and the little MUA lipsticks that had the screw off part at the bottom... And the BarryM jelly gel nail polishes are such a throwback too!! I don't play around with makeup as much anymore because it's so much quicker to go for barely there makeup, but I always love getting the opportunity for an all out glam look. Adored this video xx
I'm 20 and I always watched the makeup tutorials that did bright and bold looks, and now I watch almost everyone! I'm glad you do bold looks sometimes, and natural looks sometimes because you're so sweet and seem so real compared to a lot of content creators. I mostly have my own way of doing makeup, but it's still good when I see a beauty guru to give me inspo for a makeup look when I have an eyeshadow pallette but don't know what look to do.
hi Soph, you were the first beauty youtuber I watched, back when you were making the full face of poundland makeup kind of videos, still one of the few beauty creators I watch now
i feel so insane watching this video, its such a massive throwback and the world of makeup has changed so much, i can literally remember watching you making videos on these products (like the nars white powder, i think it was in snow? with the grey/pink hair i remember in your birthday video, or the clear nail vanish on mannys palette YEARRss ago), crazy how things become so full circle! my favourite beauty creators now are (still) kathleen lights, you and matilda on video
Ah soph! I'm 24 and have been watching you since school, and I nearly had an existential crisis when you started talking about your silver hair days and how long ago that was 😅 I didnt buy ANYTHING unless you'd reviewed it first, because you were also pale with oily, acne prone skin, and from the uk! And here I am all these years later - still pale, oily and spotty, and still watching soph 😂❤️
This is such a throwback! The first video of yours I ever watched was when you had pink hair and were entering the Freedom Awards back in 2016. It hit me when you said you started as a teenager because I started watching you when I was 14 and I'm now 21 and still here xx
it’s crazy because i was watching a lot of them back then (nikkie, manny, zoella, Tanya & others) but was also watching you at the same time and you were always my favourite!🥲 me and my friend used to speak about your videos & collabs all the time back in school, i was obsessed w your first collab palette. im 22 now and ive been watching you for 7/8 years!🥲❤️
You, Tammi, and Carmi were the ones i started watching when i REALLY got into makeup. Emma too. Now i still watch you, Emma from time to time, and artists like Angelica Nyqvist, Steff's Beauty Stash, and some friends I've met in the beauty community
Soph I have to say you have changed the shape of your eye brows since they days too! And also I prefer the way you have done your eyeshadow shape in this video to the other shape u usually do. ❤ love how far you have came with your makeup skill I learn something every time ❤
I didn't start watching RUclips beauty videos until KathleenLights. Always happy when she randomly posts a video nowadays. Anyway, love your videos Soph!
I suddenly broke out with cystic acne (out of no where) a few years ago. Fortunately, I was able to see a dermatologist and she was able to start me on a treatment plan that consisted of several products. This is the first time in my life my skin has finally cleared! I might suggest seeing one if nothing else seems to work! 💖
I've been using the collection concealer for over 10 years now and it's the one makeup product that I've consistently had in my collection for the longest time. I buy so many concealers and jump between multiple different ones but I will ALWAYS have the collection concealer on hand until the day I die I swear 😭 The hydrating serum one they have now is so great for dry skin too, such a gem 🥰
Currently I adoreeee @AlexandraAnele so much. Started watching her about two years ago and I literally watch every single video she posts now. You and her are the only beauty youtubers I actually watch!
I love beauty content too and I still love these longer videos. No TikTok or Insta for me. So thank you that you're still uploading long format content.
I absolutely love physicians formula. I have it in my handbag and take it everywhere. It was so hard to get back in the day though. I bought my 1st one from someone on Ebay, took it out the packaging and bloody dropped it. I was devastated lol
I don't know if Soph will ever see this but if you do, you are the beauty guru of my life. I've been watching since you were still at your parents place filming from your bed. You taught me how to do makeup. I literally squealed with excitement when I finally got a super spice palette earlier this year and am still on the hunt for your highlighter. I love you so much, your videos always make me so happy and I will support you in literally everything that you do from now until the end of time 🩷🩷
Zoella for sure was the one I first subscribed to! It’s been over 10 years and I still enjoy her content. I also LOVE Allanarama now! As a Canadian, I very much appreciate her content. I actually also still love the ABH dipbrow 😂 I find it so much easier to control than a pencil. The trick is to wipe it on the back of your hand so it softens before putting it on your brows 👌🏼
Soph, you are my beauty GURU, I trust you the most! Been watching you for many years now and pretty much all of my current makeup consists of products you’ve suggested in your videos! I moved to Australia from the US for a year and I was amazed by how much less makeup options they had! So I definitely felt your pain, I had to order products online or wait until I got back to the US to stock up! 😅 thank you for always being there! 🩷
I am so envious of people who can put makeup on their lower lashes! I have deep set, tiny eyes and can't pull off color on my lower lashes. You were definitely one of my first beauty gurus I watched. Back when you had the silver hair!
Soph, I love you. Thanks for getting emotional, I really needed that. I was so afraid of getting things done by myself, but I started getting help. Hearing you say that it is OK to be a bit dependent on your parents has made my day. You are one of the most genuine, adorable, and successful people that I've known. In Turkey, we say "Maşallah" for things that we want God to protect from the evil eye. It's a cultural/religious thing. Maşallah to you💙I really wish you the best 👁🗨
I also suffered with hormonal acne in my mid to late 20s, so frustrating and I'd tried everything from birth control, spironolactone, prescription creams, expensive skincare, cutting out foods, anything for years and nothing worked. Finally my doctor said accutane and I've now been off it for just over a year and my skin is perfect. I don't breakout anymore, maybe the occasional pimple before my period but it so few and far between. Seriously was life changing but of course always talk to your doctor about the pros and cons, not everything works for everyone, but I wish I'd done it sooner
You are my favourite UK beauty youtuber. I think RachLoves is my fave rest of the world beauty youtuber. (Love her 2nd channel too 🤣 awesome cooking/ product review videos)
You were THE beauty guru for me... Last month I finally managed to get my hands on your highlighter with revolution and I was SUPER happy. And then my boyfriend got drunk and threw up in my makeup bag. I've never cried that hard. Didn't find a new one, had to get back to Brazil and probably will never see this pallete again in my life 😂
A moment of silence for this absolute tragedy ✋😭
Ground him, that is UNACCEPTABLE
Maybe she'll see this and send you one if she has any
oh good lord 😭
Absolutely grounded
I’ll be honest I’ve been watching Zoe Sugg (zoella) for like 10 years , and I still adore her and Zoe still uses that collection concealer haha xx
me too!! loveddddd her vlogust videos so much

Lauren Luke aka Panacea81 was the real OG. She's still around. I was obsessed with Mac's Sharkskin eye cream crayon because of her

i’m seventeen and have been watching soph since the days of silver hair in like 2015- love that she’s always inspiring all ages of new people :)
I’ve always had a soft spot for Tati. Her videos are very calming imo ✨
Yes agreed!❤

Omg I remember that girl with the white blonde hair and her mascara routine!!!! I’m such an OG RUclips girly. My current favourites for beauty content are YOU, Shaanxo, JuicyJas, Manny MUA, Kathleen Lights, Morgan Turner, Trixie Mattel. I legit don’t miss an upload from you 7! ☺️💖
I'm 30 and still get the hormonal acne and it's still something that ruins my self esteem. But you help me realise that it's normal and no one has the perfect skin ❤
I really love Kackie Reviews Beauty, her knowledge on colour theory is 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
I only really got in to watching RUclips make up videos 7 years ago and Jamie genieve, you, Tammy and carmen were the reasons I fell in love with make up ❤
I’m from Germany, and also my first RUclipsrs were not the one from my country, no from America and UK.
why am I getting emotional watching this?🥺 you are actually the only beauty guru I watch because I trust your opinion so much, everytime I want to buy some new makeup I always look for your video about it!❤
Those orange eyeshadows look so so good with your blue eyes! It makes them stand out do much
Soph, honestly you’re the only influencer I still watch regularly from like 2019 and can still say I trust ❤ thank you for never letting all the internet fame get to your head, you’re still the same sweet and amazing woman I followed years ago. You’ve taught me so much and helped me to get out of my comfort zone with makeup, so I appreciate and admire you endlessly! ❤
Back when I was growing up you were my favourite beauty guru then I slowly discovered nikkietutorials and now you two are still my all time favourite beauty gurus of all time and that is the 100% truth, love you soph ❤❤
aahhh thank you so much 🥲❤️
@sophdoeslife you're welcome soph ❤️❤️
The OG ! Kandee!!! I couldn’t get to one of her new videos fast enough. I also loves Nat and Sam! ❤
Adored this video xx
watching this video made me realise i could probably do a full face of products i've bought in recommendation from you!!
My absolute favorite OG RUclips makeup guru will forever be Kandee Johnson ❤
hi Soph, you were the first beauty youtuber I watched, back when you were making the full face of poundland makeup kind of videos, still one of the few beauty creators I watch now
I watched just about everyone 😭 but my fav was its likely makeup and she just recently started uploading videos again and I love herrrr
i feel so insane watching this video, its such a massive throwback and the world of makeup has changed so much, i can literally remember watching you making videos on these products (like the nars white powder, i think it was in snow? with the grey/pink hair i remember in your birthday video, or the clear nail vanish on mannys palette YEARRss ago), crazy how things become so full circle! my favourite beauty creators now are (still) kathleen lights, you and matilda on video
Love a Nostalgic video!! Anyone remember the men’s Nivea post shave balm, or the Barry M lipstick that was lighter than concealer 🙈
Soph you are my OG RUclipsr ❤️ only one I ever trusted! I literally have all your palettes and one of the only collabs I actually bought!
I use the concealer now but the hydrating one and that is better than the original one
Although I’ve been watching you for so long now, the first beauty guru I’ve ever watched is Shaaanxo, which I still do to this day as well.
JLovesMac1 was hilarious and her content was so GOOD
BubzBeauty! I haven't watched her in forever. I completely forgot about her. I used to love her back in the day
I love beauty content too and I still love these longer videos. No TikTok or Insta for me. So thank you that you're still uploading long format content.
I only really used to watch you and Nikki Tutorials 🙈 now I still watch you, I also love Robert Welsh, Jamie Genevieve, Itssabrina, the list goes on!
Bubzbeauty oh my the nostalgia 😫😫😫
I absolutely love physicians formula. I have it in my handbag and take it everywhere. It was so hard to get back in the day though. I bought my 1st one from someone on Ebay, took it out the packaging and bloody dropped it. I was devastated lol
your uploads get me so excited to watch
I don't know if Soph will ever see this but if you do, you are the beauty guru of my life. I've been watching since you were still at your parents place filming from your bed. You taught me how to do makeup. I literally squealed with excitement when I finally got a super spice palette earlier this year and am still on the hunt for your highlighter. I love you so much, your videos always make me so happy and I will support you in literally everything that you do from now until the end of time 🩷🩷
Omg total nostalgia! I watched all the British beauty gurus too, I love fleur de force aswell! Xx
Current fave is Emily Noel!
*Me getting extremely emotional by watching makeup content*
This has TRANSPORTED me back in time! Loved this xx
I love Jamie Paige, Julia Adams, Manny MUA, Kathleen & of course Soph! But those are definitely my tops!
I’ve watched you since 2017 and to this day you’re the only beauty creator I trust😭😭
This is the makeup that made me fall in love with your videos, many years ago!!
It was you!! I started watching when you were sophdoesnails, doing your manicure tutorials❤
mine were lauren curtis and shaaanxo in 2014 (i still watch shannon now!), and you since 2016
I started watching bubz, then zoe, then tanya, then yuya ✨️ the way mac had me on a chokehold
YOU were my og makeup youtuber!! been watching since 2016 when you had 200k😊
