The eyeshadow creased almost immediately, would not recommend vaseline as eye primer, it works pretty well to remove eye makeup though! 😂

You still ended up looking super cute. Hacks are supposed to make life easier or save money or time. Here's one that I use for my skincare serums.... I use silicone thumb cots - like finger cots but for the thumb so they are a bit bigger - over my index and middle fingers on both hands to be able to massage and press in the serums without dragging finger skin against face skin and having the serum sink into the finger tips. If there is more than enough of the face, I just use the cot to transfer it to the back of my hands. I use less serum now to cover the face and it feels amazing.

actually vaseline is good for the skin, but pure vaseline. Its great after a good moisturizer to lock in the cream

I actually think that classic lipsticks are so much better to use as a “cream blush” I’ve used a rimmel red lipstick as blush for years 😆

When you’ve been here that long you remember Soph doing nail videos, her love for Mac lipstick, along with Emma and her absolute love for Mac makeup! I remember the shopping trips to Brighton, swapping makeup bags etc lol. You were so much younger then, I think about 18 maybe? Now you’re a grown woman and live with your man in your own home! The hack with putting contour on the dip under your nose works great with a cool toned contour combined with highlighter on your cupids bow, makes the cupids bow much more pronounced and as a result can make the top lip look slightly more plump! Just a tip for anyone :) loved this vid Soph 💕

Another tip I really like is to use a contour shade under the lower lip to create the illusion of plumper lips x
I love the way you do your hair in your videos
I do use a liquid lipstick as a liquid-cream blush.But not super liquidy ones,they don't give you much time to play with and are usually drier and cant put more layers. A cream-whipped liquid lipstick it's better (nyx liquid suede,for example) are much more creamy and easy to blend and you have many more color to choose than your regular blushes :)

Speaking of hacks, I always heat my mascara up with my thighs. It's super good once your mascara starts drying up! Revives it a bit.
I use hairspray for my eyebrows for years, they don't move and stick in place so I'm never going to switch that up
And hairspray is cheaper than eyebrow gels 🤗
Which hairspray do you recommend?
In the early 2000s me and my friends used to use Vaseline on our eyelids, no eyeshadow, just a wet look lid. And we smeared it on our cheeks as a kind of highlighter too. We just looked very greasy.

I always mix my foundation with moisturiser when I want less coverage like in the summer , it definitely takes a lot of coverage out but looks so pretty 🤩

I do the foundation thing but with a hydrating primer and it works so well. I prefer doing that and using concealer more. Love the video and loving the filming room! Lots of love!

The tinted moisturizer hack I had been using for about 2 months with my Nivea Soft, and Dove moisturizer mixture (mostly the dove, the Nivea for the much more appetizing scent for your face) and some of my foundation and concealer mixture and I love it so much because I have combo skin.

would love to see a video of how you do your makeup when you skin isn’t at its best. I deal with acne and I can never get my makeup to look nice. Looks cakey and dry and I just want that glowy look. Any tips or recommendations? 🤍
At the moment I’m using an acne cream for my skin and it’s dried it out so badly! I tend to have oily skin but I’ve changed my makeup recently to a light coverage foundation and a higher coverage concealer on my acne and then I use a light dusting of powder in the areas in need it most! I’ve found that helps me to achieve the glowy look while still covering my acne. Hope this somewhat helps! Xx
Full coverage cream concealer instead of liquid, and dewy setting sprays will help you out with reducing the appearance of dryness!
I can definitely do this when my skin isn’t as good! I agree with the comment below, use a lighter coverage foundation but a full coverage concealer just on spots where you need it! Put the concealer on spots and leave it there for a couple minutes to let it dry down, then blend, and it will give more coverage! Also use a setting spray at the end to make it look less cakey 😊
