DSNCB919, I too have lost interest over the years. It's just not the same sport anymore. I am glad that my son and I got to meet him once in Pittsburgh, and we got to see him race at Pocono. Both were awesome experiences, and neither of us will ever forget them.
That's because they do far too much to people that race like him. They cared less about driver safety when cars were 4% as safe as they are now. They penalize fights and wrecks. Same pussification that has damaged hockey.
Oozywolf sadly true, for both hockey and nascar. However, i think they remain as the last two sports with a little bit of guts, no kneeling bullshit or anything else.
There's nothing better, the closest I will ever get is my buddy and I chasing each other on the mountains of PA. He drives an Evo and I drive a WRX and everyone knows the rivalry between the two. We are always on each other's bumper, our cars are so evenly matched it's insane and it's just so much fun what we do when we meet up. Weird part is, we were both Sr fans back in the day and I'm glad to say, for 17 years we have been friends.
Idk about that. He was quoted as to say he knew exactly what hole in the wall he would put someone. He definitely wrecked cars on purpose. Dale Sr. Wouldnt be allowed in todays NASCAR. and that is what is wrong with it. @flexus4332
Oh how I love and miss this man. 3 I love and miss you my brother. I have no other words, but I felt like I lost a brother that day in Daytona Florida.
Probably the best stock car driver in history. Sure Petty won more races, but the competition was not a strong as when Earnhardt came through. Lot's of stuff changed after Feb.2001, and Nascar has not been the same. It's all about car setup and aero package. It's has very little to do with the driver, hence Johnson winning 5 in a row. Dale was able to take a car that was a 10th-15th place car and comeback to win. There is no way that can be done now!! Just look at the crowds, way down and it's not all because of economy, but the fact that Nascar has changed and it's no longer about the driver!! Too me that's sad.
I was at every one of those Talladega races... GOOD TIMES!!! Man I miss Dale Earnhardt so much!!!! Haven't watched a race since Feb 2001, last week was the first time I've watched Dale race in 17yrs, feels good to watch him now smiling instead of crying😁 RIP #3 u are missed❤
+Dale “The Savage” Brown yeah well he wasn't born to race he's only racing because he's Richard Childress' grandson he's been doing better recently though
Nascar needs to give Dale Jr. The top job of nascar to save their top spot in motor sports, Earnhardt is the name of nascar and always will be because Dale Sr. Made nascar what it is.
Dale was a top notch driver and if you will admit it or not, Dale caused many, many people to wreck. Wrecks are part of racing but Dale took it to the next level. At on time or another he ran over everything except the hot dog stand and it was too far from the track or it too would have also fell victim to Dale. RIP Dale. You are terribly missed.
Yeah, i would like to see Schumacher or Hamilton in Nascar (today nascar is shit btw) but back in the day i would sell my soul to the devil to see a Formula 1 champion trying to win a championship in nascar.
I got to meet him. I was about 5 years old, only 2-3 years before he died. I wish I could remember it fully, just vague little blurs. But I do remember what it felt like. Imagine growing up with Superman comics and meeting Superman. Except this wasn't a guy dressed up as him. This was the REAL Superman. He said I was a quiet kid lmao. I pulled the classic A Christmas Story scene where he just stares at Santa. We got a few autographs, some of which are nearly invisible from fading. I won't forget it though. 2001 was a freaking brutal year for a kid growing up with NASCAR that had a fascination with the WTCs. Luckily I got to go in Tower B before 9/11. Terrible year for all of America. 🇺🇲 RIP
Earnhardt roughed a lot of folks up! A lot of championships are won by guys that crash others often. I'd even say that's why Mark Martin does not have a title! Look at Logano, Stewart, Harvick, Keselowski, Busch, Gordon, etc.. Chastain will most likely be a cup champ!
There willl never be another like him, another who can draft like he can, or drive like he did.. If he timed in way in the back, like 15, 16, or 20th.even. He always was in the lead! to watch him draft and come from the back, was a master in awe! Rusty Wallace once said.. "if Earnhardt was in front of you, his car gets wider, and if Dale is behind you, he fills the whole mirror.". He made racing worth watching!
@@shannonking7855 Sadly Nascar misplayed what he mesnt to racing. They dininished him instead of using what he meant to people. They compare Gordon, Johnson into the GOAT conversation, but forget the crao equipment DE drove in at the start.
I love Dale, and really never cared about NASCAR after he died, but that Bristol race in 99 was one of the dirtiest and lowest moves ive ever seen from a race driver lol. He was beat, knew he was beat, and the only way he could win was to wreck him. I forget how mad Labonte got, but if it were me he wrecked, we would be going at it after the race.
He did shit in race cars that was just amazing. He raced for the working man. I never really followed Nascar after he died.
The Michael Jordan of nascar.
I understand, me neither
Nobody else did neither. You ain't alone.
@@WillBlindYouWithLight 🥰
That is amazing he shit in race cars.
NASCAR has never recovered from Earnhardt's death.
and possibly never will. its was a combination of skill, agressiveness and determination, Earnhardt made the race interesting.
Brian Dorn really hasn't i havent cared since

I've still got 2 unused tickets to that 99 bristol race. Won them in a drawing at Lowes. I was 15, and couldnt find anyone to drive me.
Jeremy Sweat wanna go
dude that race was in 1999 you can't go lmao
Wanna send me one of those tickets? We can go in 2099.
Did u ask your parents?
Might be worth some major money
The thing I love about Earnhardt, is that he had the “I don’t give a damn” attitude
Earnhardt will always be known as the best driver in NASCAR! Definitely the king of his time!!!
The king of all time
I've never seen him race but I just love him!
Same here
I was 11 when dale died i watched the race with my dad sad day its one of the few times i have ever seen my dad cry been a fan ever since
BrianFalconsFan2 i was born 1 month before dale's 500 win
BrianFalconsFan2 same exact thing with me sept dale was my micheal Jordan . Every one was ,i wanna be like mike ,not me i wanted to be like dale
Ethan Schmid i was 12 and he was my favorite driver i was devastated
still brings tears to my eyes....miss you...

Why is it that nascar was so good from the early 90's to about 2004
It all changed when SR died. Nascar doesn't let them race like they used to.
the Chase
StoneColdReznov Because Brian France took over and ruined NASCAR
StoneColdReznov because men were men and didn't cry every time they got a push or tap. Racing was racing
Big hearts, big engines, and a big pair of you-know-what's, partner.
Dale Earnhardt senior was the best of all time
dude was a master of the draft and when that didn't work use the pit maneuver wreck them if you can't get past Intimidator at his finest
he didn't wreck on purpose that much he would bump and run but wrecking not so much

Best NASCAR driver ever!!!
The man. The legend. R.I.P. ###
I have watched this video like 100 times and it never gets old
Very fitting how “Just like you” is playing on a Dale Earnhardt video. He was never out to be like anyone, he was truly one of a kind.
What's the first songs name?
The IROC move was 1 of the best moves. R.I.P DALE!❤
haven't been able to watch a nascar race since 2001. just wasn't the same without #3.
the greatest stock car driver ever
Dale was the last of the old school Nascar guys man
The greatest driver Nascar has ever known....Big E.
Nascar has never been the same it's nothing like it used to be
We'll never forget you dale
1:36 Love hearing the 'Indy' crew call the race.
The music is perfect the video's great all around i find myself watching it every other day
Dale just wanted to win more than most. And for that, some will always hate him. us smart ones, will always love him for it.
god I love that number3 car go Dale Earnhardt .
Too bad that nerd Austin Dillion had to destroy the number 3

Those IROC races were usually purdy cool to watch
For some reason I feel super intimidated after watching this.
Best of all time
Simply the best of all time! The Intimidator still rules!
there will never b another dale erhnhart nascar will never b the same without him rest in peace dale
at least spell his last name right

Simply The Greatest!
I just love how he takes Levante out in the first video!
...who?..
If it wasn't for Dale Earnhardt Sr Winning the 1998 Daytona 500 Dale Earnhardt Sr would be still alive
Charles Brown what, how does something in 1998 affect an accident in 2001
Jacob Robert cause he would of gone for the win instead of blocking to get his friend to win
The G.O.A.T I remember where I was and who I was around when they announced he passed and I just remember thinking that the wreck didn't look that bad
Same I was like 12yo and never seen my dad and fan so quiet during race day
cool video
Earnhardt would love gta racing
Dale and Labonte always went at it. Good old days of nascar.
I think you should have saved the 1998 Daytona 500 for last honestly
the one around 6:46.....best race I ever watched...that finish...wow
Why would you post music over top of the sound and commentary?
That's just a pita, makes it hard to hear what I came here for.
been a while since I heard someone use PITA , its such a great acronym
