I love them all🥰
I have 15 budgies and when is bedtime they go in the cage by them self😊
I have 13 budgies and they go in by themselves, too😀
Sometimes 1-3 stay outside and I lead them with a stick inside.Never met such friendly, curious and loveable creatures before😍(animals are in general nice and loveable)
I often have old ones, which no one wants and I give them a home until the end. They give so much back😍
Like is said in the video : Routine is very important👍🏻
I’m so lucky that my birds all want to go to bed when I dim the lights. I also start to put their covers on and they see that as a signal that it’s time to go to bed, and they go in by themselves. It’s so sweet! There are some that follow the others. Which is also cute
Lucky you!!! My two love birds, have minds of their own!!!!!!🤗🐦🐦
i like your relations with the birds :)
YOU ARE AMAZING, I LIKE HOW YOU GOT MANY BIRDS AND YOU LET THEM OUT TO PLAY AND FLY AROUND NOT KEEPING THEM IN THERE CAGE 24/7 .
So Cute. I have an avariy made out of screen in my living room and my cocktiels AND finches love it . They go to bed in seperate cages also . Love it when they already go in TOO. Shows how HAPPY and they KNOW pur routines!! Beautiful room !
I dim the lights and sing a bedtime song before putting them to bed it gets them all in and lights out 😴
I’ve been blessed with obedient budgies and canaries
I wanted to put a dimmer on my light switch but because it has a timer I can't add one. I may remove the timer and add a dimmer. I am sure a dimmer will do wonders
@@Loveofpets yes simulate bedtime I dim the lights a little bit at a time over a period of a few hours like the actual sun setting
Two nights ago when I was putting my birds to bed I thought about you and wondered how you put all your birds to bed. This is about how our nights go too. 😁💕
Such a nice video! I only have 2 cockatiels and a green quaker parrot. I leave their cages open when I let them out in the morning. And before I know it, they all go back in all by themselves. This usually happens within a few hours. Birds are beautiful!
Thanks for showing. Our birds would staigh raid the millet bowl instead of going in the cages😉. So we're happy they go in their cages on their own, when it's bedtime😊
I like your profile picture of your bird's. I will check out your channel when I am on my desktop computer 😀
@@Loveofpets Thank you
Hiya Donna, that’s some routines you have and you are so very patient.I got a kick out of you with your ladder.I guess they all know what that means when they all see your ladder.I see you have a few night owls that need a little persuasion lol. I love your little Java Finch, Nightshade, a cutiepie for sure, but all your little guys and gals are precious.I enjoyed. watching your little nighttime routine,Take care!
I remember the overnight mutterings and sweet noises the budgies made.
Wow, very cool how they know the routine! What a great bird mummy you are!
Wow it’s amazing how you have found a way to get them to go to bed especially with so many birds, you make it seem so easy and well organized. It took me awhile to find a good routine in putting Ricco to bed. For awhile it was me chasing him back and forth lol, now I save his favourite treat for bedtime.
An eternity later… alright he’s in 😅 very cute video 🥰
Beautiful birds... how I wish my keets are like that... Nice aviary
Bravo, bravo! You are amazing!
Your setup is incredible. Looks like birdy paradise.
Thank you 😊
Omg holy heck I absolutely love love love love love love love love love love your bird's they are sooooooo freaking cute as heck. You did a fantastic Job on there play room it looks extremely beautiful as ever, I absolutely love what you done with the play room great job. Plus I love your beautiful beautiful cockatiel they are so so cute especially the Yellow one now that one is to adorable as hell. You are a very very lucky lady and you are Such a wonderful loving woman to see the love you have for your budgies and cockatiels. And for that I love you. My also a huge cockatiel Fan oh I love love cockatiels sooooo much... you are the coolest bird's owner ever
This video is great.
I really love and very like your video sister.. God bless you ❤
Love your flock happy new year I’d love to see your total night with all your babies🥰🥰🥰🥰
I can relate my two budgies are stubborn about bedtime. Last night I left them out and they did fine sleeping on their jungle gym 🤓
I love the birds and the bird room
What a circus 🤣🤣🤣
I used to have 16 birds, I'm very impatient so I just picked up everyone one by one and put them in 😆 first thing I teached to a new bird was to land on my hand by calling them just so I could easily put them back in the cage, was easier with parrots but canaries and finches took a little more training.
Now it is a lot easier cuz I have only one indian ringneck parrot.
When I have just one it is easier to train, I just tell him GOOD NIGHT and he flies in his cage.
Birds are so funny 🦜🦜🦜 you can never get bored with them 🤣
It's so much easier with my bigger parrots to put them to bed. They step up and in they go except for my plum headed Parakeet, he needs to be coaxed with treats. I should make a video 😀
@@Loveofpets Please do make a video.
I will try.
Innocent precious things 💗
Awesome video
Love this video so much 😍
Good birdies!!
That is the funniest thing. My family all laughs at me and calls me a lion tamer, because I use a very long 4 foot perch to do exactly the same thing. My birds know if I take that perch out that I can reach them no matter where they fly, even up to high places. Which means there’s no getting around it’s time to go back in the cage and she can put us in if she wants to. So we might as well go in on our own. If I don’t have the perch they usually will not go in their cage. But if I have it in my hand and point it at them and guide them they will go right in their cage very quickly. It’s not to scare them or intimidate them just a guide like a shepherd with his cane LOL. Two cocktails will step up on the perch. The two green cheeks are funny. One jumps on my head or flys in the cage herself. If she’s on my head I tip my head and she jumps into the cage. The second green cheek jumps on my hand and will only go in after the first green cheek goes in. And lastly my last cocktail will refuse to go in. He used to come on my hand at bedtime but now he is being difficult. So I usually just let him go in the cage on his own. And after a few minutes he will do just that.
Love your videos as always!!!!!!!!
Soo cutee
Wow lovely video 🥰🥰
love your videos
I love your videos. I also have cockatiels, budgies, Javas, and now some parrotlets. Getting my birds to bed is very similar. They are getting better though especially with consistent millet rewards.

Love your bids.
Wunderbar das ist sehr schön 😇😇😇
I love all your videos rosy.
OMG I had to laugh with Summer...such a cheeky girl! it's such a work out getting them in. I love your Sierra pair? nice video Donna
Hi! Summer is so cheeky, lol
The Sierras are so adorable 😍
Wonderful video; so that's how you do it. My budgies are terrible when it comes to getting them back in their cages; so I let them out very seldomly and only in a tight space. I will get back to letting them have a small piece of millet as a reward. As always, your birds are beautiful.
Aww, your birds are so cute!!
I have two budgies and at around seven every night, they fly right back into their cage (I don’t even have to put a treat or anything in there. They just fly in). They are out their cage 24/7.
Aaww❤❤❤🇳🇴 Just love your birds❤❤❤...the room is so perfekt
I can’t imagine how you do it. It’s always a struggle to get my Milo in. Coco my conure will step up and go in no problem. Milo is just a handful, so I put a video of a bird on my phone and lure him in.
Some nights are easier then others. My bigger birds are much easier except for my plum headed Parakeet. He needs some coaxing with treats 😋
If you dim the light they will be more likely to see it as night time and then go into their own cages and want to go on their own. At least mine do 🥰
oh wow new sub..my Margo a cockatiel she goes to bed by herself this was so cute and your setup is so lovely and colorful😀
Hi. Welcome to my channel 😀
👏👏👏💜
I USE ALMOND FOR AFRICAN MEYER. LOVE YOUR FLOCK. I ASLO SING EACH OF THEIR NAMES.
How many birds in your flock?
Try turning the light off then getting him in the cage by stepping up it worked for my ringneck and after awhile he started goning in by him self
I miss having a bird room, I need gouldians and canaries, but had all kind of parrots in rest of the house

Vy tam máte školku 👏😂
I stick perches outside the cages and they all go into their own cages lol
Great tip thank you
I love your video, how do you keep their bathroom usage of there cages on top?
Wonderful home for your birds, but too many for me,I have two love birds, they will only go back in when they are hungry,I have saved and saved for a massive parrot 🐦 cage for them and the home has so many toys ,they still turn their noses up,they will only do what they want ,,they do really like me ,but I am attached to them, and they have the best of everything!!!!! I love to see and birds and any animal so so well cared for and loved, the birds love her and she knows most of their names!!!!!!!;;;🤗🐦
❤❤❤❤💐💐
Maybe it’s because I don’t have a lot of birds, (14 was my highest amount) but my birds just go in their own cages when it gets dark out, there’s one male that sometimes stays back but when I dim the lights he goes “home”. No treats, just make it darker and they want to go home. 🤷🏼♀️ Then I sing to them and they go to sleep. 🙂❤️
I want a dimmer so bad. My light has a timer and a dimmer can't be added but I may take off the timer and put in a dimmer. It definitely helps to lower the lights.
@@Loveofpets when it gets dark out they see that because they’re about four feet from a large window in winter, in summer they are right up at it. I move the cages. Then I close the blinds, and turn off one light, one is left on so they can see. They go in the cage at this time. Maybe they just know it’s bedtime because it’s a nightly routine. 👍🏼 but a dimmer is really good idea. I like it.
@@python-art4u I’m also “lost in snakes”. LOL I used to have loads of them. Now I have none. My favs are the MilkSnake and the California Mountain King , all the Kings I guess. We don’t have a lot of breeds where I live now, but I have lived in places that had loads like South Florida, and the farms of South Jersey. Ever here of a NJ Pine Snake? Big gorgeous snake that we’ve bred in the past, an egg layer. Huge eggs. Now they’re highly endangered and usually chipped when you catch one in the wild. We had a whole room dedicated to snakes, with small refrigerators to put them in a “hibernation” to entice breeding. I kind of miss them, but not the smell, 😅
Nice video and set up. Where can I buy those white holders that you have on the side of the cages?
Is Rosey boy a budgie ? I have never seen a pink one before wow!!
Rosey is a rosey bourke parakeet
I love your channel 🐦💌did you get sprinkles's cage from amazon?
Hi. I got hid cage from a pet store. Here is an Amazon link from my store of his cage amzn.to/3zS26bE
I love your video and I love the fact that the birds go to their own cage...I just wondered why do they have to get back in the cage instead of just being out as they'd do in nature ?
It's for their safety. I have to let my dogs out the sliding glass door that's in there room and if they were out of their cages in the dark they could get spooked and fly out the door.
@@Loveofpets Thank you.
Thanks for sharing! What type of space heaters are safe for the budgies? I’ve read there can be harmful ones.
Hi. I am using a Konwin ceramic tower heater. Most new appliances have Teflon on them. After my research I found that ceramic heaters where the safest.
Avoid using a new heater near your birds for the first time. It's best to turn it on outside for a few hours a day or another room that's far away from your birds. I ran mine for 5 days off and on just to make sure the Teflon burned off. I opened the windows in the room whole running it.
I have had it for a while now and have had no issues.
Avoid gas, kerosene or oil heaters.
Love your wall paper , where did you buy it ?
Bravo....
I clean everyday so the mess doesn't build up. I wipe the walls and cages. I vacuum and mop every 2nd or 3rd day.
Je n'ai pas précisé que je bosse à plein temps !
Can you tell me where you got the fountain from and those clips for the millet. Im in Canada okanagan b.c.
Hi. I got my fountain from Amazon. Here is a link from my Amazon Store

I got the clips from a bird store and you can get them on Amazon.

Have you ever had a pest problem in your bird room? I currently have one with mice and it's going crazy!
Aww~ I love all your bird but Nighshade really is my favourite. You can't keep him away from moonlight, even their names match. It's like romeo & juliet. My bourkes would freak out so I unintentionally tensed up seeing you swoop up Rosy like that. Just yesterday one of my boys was refusing to go to bed till after midnight so I had a pretty short night because of his rebellious behaviour. When do your birds go to bed? My finches have a strict sleep time at around 7 pm, but my bourkes just do whatever they feel like.
I get them to bed between 8 and 9. 9 is the latest. In the spring I put them to bed earlier to help with their hormones. I put them to bed as early as 7.
I would LOVE bourkes
@@Loveofpets Thanks! I really have to get them on a stricter schedule. I have to admit I neglected the hormonal aspect because I only have boys. I'm gonna change that now.
What are those handy pegs you use to hold the millet?
HI, here is a link from my amazon store of the millet holder amzn.to/3rV9Xld
Can you please share about your ventilation system of the room ??
The rooms become so smelly when for a log period of time my budgerigars are out . Cant open any door or window though in that time .
How to solve that ? what you use ?
Hi. I use this awesome air filter
amzn.to/3tMeJ7e
I have had it for years and it picks up alot of dander and it keeps the room smelling clean.
Always enjoy ure videos...I have 7 budgie s...mom dad and kids..I do not let them out..its small apt...studio..i have one alone bc he likes to fight with brother is that ok keeping him along in a cage?? Also is it ok to put a cage atop of other cage..They re the same rectangle long cages..my space is getting limited bc I gave 4 cages..I greatly learn a lot from ure videos being a budgie owner..I have one canary in his own cage..I'm not sure if he's a male..a year ago I purchased the canary. Sang but after the summer does sing no more just make his regular sound as a Bird..thank for your attention. Love ure videos
Hi. I have a cage onto of the other. I don't see a problem with it.
This is so hectic. I couldn't imagine having this many birds. XD
Have you ever thought of target training some of the more hard to catch birds?
I tried but it's too hectic with the other birds flying around.
Please can you make a video about lovebird care
Hi. Here is a video on Lovebirds that I made a while ago that you will enjoy if you haven't seen it already ruclips.net/video/FantaoeBVJA/видео.html
I may make a new one soon
But how do you keep the room clean?? I have two large cages, with only 3 finches and 3 budgies, and the amount of bird dander is insane! When I long-sat a friend's 4 lovebirds it was even worse. I have a very nice air filtering unit in the room but I'm always having to dust the room. 😩
Hi Donna! I love your videos! Just wondering what kind of heater you are using? It gets very cold where I live and I want to get a heater for my bird room but I’m not sure what’s safe?
Hi. I am using a konwin ceramic tower heater.
I turned it on outside for several hours and then in another room for a few days before using it in my bird room as new appliances can burn off Teflon which is toxic to birds.
I have used it several years now without any issues.
@@Loveofpets Thank you :)
I don't have an issue, putting mine to bed, but if i let them out during the day for a couple of hours its very difficult to get them back in their cage. I have to trick them.
Do they get to see the sun shine or fly around a plant or tree, they like nature too.
Yes, they have a huge sliding door on one side of the room and they go outside in the Aviary or in their cages in the summer for fresh air and sunshine. I don't have plants in the bird room as I have no where to put them.
I was thinking of giving them a plant to destroy
I thought I was spoiled my birds. Those birds are pretty quiet though. My cockatiels can get loud. I put millet on the bottom of the cage because that stuff goes everywhere.
So many birds I only have three parakeets and they are so hard to get back in the cage
What are the pink birds that you have
Hi. They are Rosey Bourke Parakeets 😀
thankfully my baby bird let me grab him and put him in the cage for bedtime. but if i do end up with a bunch of birds i will definitely try your method
How do you keep it looking like they don’t shit? Man that’s clean…
Omg thats a lot of work--- do you take vacations???
I only have 2 parrots. I tap the open door of their cage and they go to bed.
That's sounds so easy. My bigger parrots in my living room are easy except one. They step up and I put them to bed and give them a treat. Synergy has to be bribed with a treat. 😀
@@Loveofpets Treats always work!
Where did you buy those cages? 💗
Hi, I got some from various bird stores and Amazon. Here is a link of cages that I have and recommend from my Amazon Store www.amazon.com/shop/loveofpets?listId=3C01JI518HT2S&ref=inf_list_pub_loveofpets_cp
My birds stay down stairs when i turn the lights out the are has quite has a mouse
My birds have their own room and there is a tree stand in there but they still like to eat my window frames! Any tips to stop them?
Hi. If there are any play stands next to the window frame then move them so they can't reach. If they are landing on the window frame then put something there to block it if you can
Hello what is your favourite lovebird species
Hi. I love the Peach Faced as that is what my beautiful Lovebird Sprinkles is. The other Types are so beautiful. The Madagascar is a cute little Lovebird.
Nightshade is like ny irish fancy mr devil.. Noone can catch him and hes the last one to go into his cage
May I ask what time do you put your birds to bed?
Hi. Their bedtime varies depending on what time I get up the next day.
I have put them to bed anywhere from 7 to 9 p.m
I give them 10 to 12 hours of sleep
Hi, why do you use blankets over the cages?
Hi. I use blankets to give them darkness so they can sleep better. I have to use the door in the birdroom to let my dogs in and out at bedtime and if they are uncovered they get spooked by seeing us move in the dark. The blankets allow us to sleep in, otherwise they will start chirping in the early morning 😀
Could you say me the height Andd width of the bigger cage ?
Hi. It's 32 inches wide, 21 inches deep, 35 inches high. With the stand it's 59 inches tall from floor to top of cage
@@Loveofpets thank you so much 🤗
My 4 budgies put themselves away but my cockatiel step up on the stick and I have to place them back in, like royalty
How can u do that Every single day!?
It's part of my daily routine. I love it.
Wow my birds don't live in cages at all I've set up my basement they sleep in a tree like they wouldn't Wild, that I cut down myself out of my yard & it's got plenty of branches all different sizes they love it.
And there's perches all through the room!
But the setup you have above your cages is
OUTSTANDING.👍
Thank you! wish I didn't need cages but they are necessary in my situation.
Hi dear Friend.. May I know the measurements of your bird room please. ? I am just curious because I feel like I have similar dimension room but am bit skpetical it's not same as yours .. and i feel that I can't fit all this big sized cages of 8 numbers into my room 😭😰could you please guide me with the details ?
Hi. The room is around 10 feet by 11 feet
@@Loveofpets mine is also same ..
A java finch in love with a budgie! I won’t spoil anything but that reminds me of Hatoful Boyfriend 😋
(Very nice game if anyone is interested)
Awww such a cute video. They are so adorable. I have two they go back to the cage every night by themselves
You know what's best way to get them in cage it's tricky and will freak them out for sure but i do this for my birds i switch off lights in room then i use a torch light flash at the birds they step right on my hand and I'll put them back in cage
I had to do that a couple times for my Java and Cockatiel.
@@Loveofpets perfect 👍
