He’s a really talented guy, that’s plain to see after Elvis and Dune Part Two. Going from lead singer to terrifying villain to heroic pilot and then anti-hero biker is a lot in just a few years.
It’s probably gonna be shorter actually because Dune messiah is only 300 pages long For reference, the first dune is 900 pages I’m expecting 2 and a half hours at most honestly
@@DJTOM_ they’ll probably add more action scenes at the very least yeah I know pretty much nothing about dune messiah so I have no idea how it’s gonna go
when he said this It was the first time I actually respected Feyd and I’ve seen all the versions of dune and read the books. He wasn’t being a scumbag he was finally being an honorable warrior.
Going for the fourth time tomorrow lmfao. It’s a shame that lots of the music isn’t fully on the soundtrack eg the chanting feyd-rautha etc though I keep having to go back just to hear it again.
Now that I’ve seen the movie I love that Feyd is’t even mocking Paul, he’s just here for violence and even when he loses and dies he’s like: “that’s fine because it was a great fight and I got him to show that deep down, he’s just like me.”
the fighting choreography was i think the best fight scene i’ve ever watched. the thing i loved most abt this movie was that i could not guess what happened next (i haven’t read the books). but i can typically guess easy plot lines and endings. so this movie was such a thrill for me
@costco_pizza, have you seen the movie he is psychopath the moment he got his blades the first reaction he had is to test them on his servants that doesn't sound good to me
Jesus christ Austin butler is amazing 👏 How he found the pitch and tone of Stellan Skarsgård is beyond me when they have completely different voices. It makes it all the more badass when you learn that in the novels, before the Baron was cursed, he looked, acted and sounded exactly like Feyd.
Fighting over the last Apple Pie slice with your cousin at Christmas dinner. Or should I say fighting with your twin over who gets to slice the cake at your birthday.
Coming to think of it, Paul and Feyd actually ARE cousins - Feyd is the nephew to Baron Vladimir Harkonnen (and at this point of the story actually the reigning Baron Harkonnen) and Paul's mother is the daughter of Baron Vladimir, so they should be first cousins once removed.
He sounds as if he's smoked too much...No, honestly, this voice transformation is almost on a par with what Tom Hardy did as Bane in The Dark Knight Rises.
@@joseluissanchezjr im literally an actor I know what acting is. L did you hear him since Elvis he was talking exactly like him for way longer than was believable after he stopped playing Elvis. It was basically a meme. So I was expecting him to continue doing that voice. Obviously he would play the character differently as feyd isn't Elvis I was making the point of expecting him to carry on his weird post Elvis voice. But was pleasantly surprised.
I honestly can’t believe that Austin Butler has been able to switch so effortlessly from playing Elvis Presley to playing this psychotic serial killer of Feyd-Rautha
When I heard he was gonna play feyd I was disappointed. But looking at this reminds me of when I was disappointed when heath ledger was cast as the joker.
Takin’ a hard left out of the Elvis voice. He’s got talent. That’s what I appreciates about him
Yeah, heard he needed a puppers after he finished Elvis

Wow. Thats the barons voice alright. Impressive.
Yes, now that you're saying it I can hear that too.
Wow mocking his uncle while repeating Paul’s words
the actor for the baron said he was taken aback by how good it sounded. He was like he sounds like a young me

He’s not mocking him. He just sounds like him, which is impressive for Butler to accomplish.

@@stopculture 😂 the book is over a half century old, my guy.
@@stopculturenumber one, read the book, number two, don't watch Dune shit if you haven't seen the movie. Take responsibility for yourself.
The truth is we don’t know who wins this fight. Could it be Paul, or could it be Feyd? We will have to watch the movie to find out. 😱
Plus there are already 2 movie adaptations (one is a miniseries)
His character is one that has honour but is absolutely crazy which makes his character amazing 👏
He almost sounds like his uncle the Baron.
I’ve just seen the film he sounds exactly like the Baron in his other scenes, super impressive
I heard that is fully intended. He tried to sound exactly like his uncle. Magnificent.
That was the goal
He trained with a vocal coach for this specific reason
We watched tutorials on how to make a swedish accent
What happend to his voice...
His acting is emaculate ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Woah. He sounds just like Stellan
This guy has a very bright future ahead of him. Exceptional acting talent, even in a fairly short role.
The videography and sets are so perfect in this movie. I think the designers deserve so much credit. Perfecttttt
He was great as Fayd, much better than I expected.
It’s weird when you realize these characters are first cousins once removed
That’s not even the weird part to me lmao
And if Paul was a girl, they would have had to be married 😭😭😭😭😭
That’s because Feyd is a GOOD person deep down. He was only trying to do what was right. In the end, it was Paul who was the Evil one.
@costco_pizza, have you seen the movie he is psychopath the moment he got his blades the first reaction he had is to test them on his servants that doesn't sound good to me
@costco_pizza Read Rautha's villains wiki, he did fucked up shit

As much as people give the gen z grief they have produced some really good young actors, I would argue more impressive than my generation ( x ).
He was like a mini Baron. For being his nephew you could swear Feyd was his son.
Why was his son
been to the theatre twice for Dune 2 , might go again, so good
No one ever:
My brain: I wonder how a Feyd Rautha cover of Suspicious Minds would sound!
They got down. Caught that head of Fade like a Summer Day in Cali.

In one interview Austin Butler had mentioned that he’d possibly ruined his vocal chords a bit from all the singing he had to do for Elvis.
I cant believe Muad'Dib took that much of a beating in this fight. How did he even stand a chance against the Lisan al Ghaib?
Watched it twice in cinema already great film
I'll be honest I was expecting his weird Elvis voice but damn if Austin butler isn't a very talented vocal performer he has RANGE

I wonder how many takes that took? Cuz that was something that had to b said in a very particular tone n each word had to b said perfectly.

Feyd can't win. Paul has already seen every possible outcome of the fight. The fight will look like whatever Paul wants it to look like.
As far as I remember in the book he was loosing his prophecy abilities at some points.
