I've had at least 5 66 Beatles all had the 1300 engine with 5 lug wheels I also had 7 67s all had 12 v stand up head lights 5 lug wheels and all had 1500 engines plus the 67's are one inch wider at the axles than the 66's

I've had original 66 and 67 1500 beetle's and they both had 4 stud wheels and front disc brakes although 6v. My 68 1500 was new shape and 12v
Typical of the Welsh to dump fridges cooker's and cars down banks.

This one defo had 5 wide as he had taken the axle and gearbox out for his own vehicle he was restoring, may be they did both as were cross over years.

i have a late 67 its a pain to find bits for and the tank is weird but it at least has the front disc brakes
