TJ=Best JEEP ever made. I like these lights! A license plate lite option I saw on a friends Jeep was basically two "LED bolts" Basically a bolt drilled out for a wire and an LED attached to it's head. Mount the plate with the two bolts. Super small simple and lights the plate. No idea where he found them. On line. LED flasher hack.... I built new flat fenders for my TJ and no one had an LED flasher in stock, couple days out at that time. SOOOO what to do?!?!?!? LOL I soldered an incandescent bulb across the wiring leading to the LED turn signals(one on each side). The bulbs act as a ballast resistors and makes the LEDs flash normal speed, I wrapped the bulbs in electric tape to hide and protect them, zip tied them to the other wires. Perfect temporary fix. Don't judge it works perfectly and cost nothing. I finally got the LED flasher in and well, still haven't put it in a year later. Eh I will get to it after some other projects are done and do the tail lights.
A few of the LEDs inside aren't working when I have my lights on. I think only 3 out of the 12 work. Can I replace them individually like halogen lights or do I need to replace the whole thing?
Need some help. I installed the MetalCloak LED taillights on my 2005 TJ. I also bought the correct flasher relay. But now my turn signals do not work. However my hazards do work. Any suggestions?
I love the TJ stuff. Thanks for continuing putting out vids even while Bob is gone.
Just for you buddy

I'd assume the turn signal switch is bad or the wrong relay. Without testing it, hard to say for sure
Where did you find the license plate light at?
It's an item we stock but they can be found on Amazon
@@AllProAutoOffroad Thanks! One more question. Did you find the need to install the $30 LED Flasher as well?
Some vehicles will need it and some vehicles won't, this one did
Not much of a upgrade
@@MM-tg5dz atleast they work and are not 20+ years old.
