My guppies love some thawed (not cooked) frozen unsalted green peas. Simply pull the skins off the peas and mush the inside with your fingers. The snails really like them too. Thanks for a helpful video! USA
I'm totally a new to this passion and I had trouble in understanding on how to take care of them... Because I don't know which one to follow... But after seeing this video, I followed your algorithm and managed to keep my guppies much more healthier... Usually the fry will die at early adulthood but now they are more healthy and they gone to full cycle... this video was damn helpful... Thank you a lot...
Thank you for another informative video! I supplement my cherry shrimp diet with blanched zucchini once or twice a week, and I find that the guppies love it too.
I feed my guppies frozen peas, cucumbers , broccoli, green beans carrots, sweet corn ,cabbage and blood worms once a week only hahaha and flake, Ill cook as their frozen before and remove outer shell of peas they love it, let it cool too before putting it in tank I also chop into small pieces so it's easier for them love guppies best fish and so easy to look after 🙏
KeepingFishSimple, that was an amazing video! Very informative! I loved it! It was very helpful, too! Thank you! It sounds that you are feeding your fish very well! Well done! I have a frozen blood worm pack and a frozen brine shrimp pack in my freezer that I only feed to my fish very occasionally. But now your video has made me think to start feeding them more frozen food, once every few days? Thank you for that information! I am loving your videos! Keep up the amazing work!!!!!!!👍👍👍👍
Came across this while trying to figure out how to make my fishes diet healthier for them, I am really glad I did this has helped a lot! I do have one quick question. So, in my tank I have Guppys, but I also have Platys and Neon Tetras. Are all these foods ok to feed to other breeds of fish or just Guppys?
I got a small aquarium but only buy guppies. You mentioned to take out extra food after 30min…. How? I have to be honest and say that I don’t do that and try to clean the aquarium monthly but will be happy to clean up the extra food if it was possible, it sinks down to the bottom where all the shells and stones are, I can’t see how to actually clean that. Thank you so much for this information, I intend to get some live and frozen food as you recommend.
Came across your channel today and really love all the video’s but especially the guppy ones. I myself have only just gotten back into guppies and livebearer fish after I sold the Barramundi I had. Already has been having heaps of fun and already have a bunch of guppy babies. Keep up the awesome videos and all the great content 👍🏼
lol, I got some daphnia in my shrimp tank -don't ever put irrigation water in your tank-, got some fry from a friend and now their is no more daphnia. I visit ever so often the other fry from the same clutch and mine are WAY bigger and more developed.
Hey there, got an aquaponics system with about a hundred guppies. All bred since covid lock down this spring. So far I've only tried two types of flakes and a frozen spirulina-babybrine combo. Was lookin at doing live or home made food, do brine hatcheries stink?
No get half of that if they are breeding. Prepare for the fry. All food per day will also increase and you would need a big filter. And they will keep on breeding like rabbits you might have to give some.back to the pet shop or sell them lr whatever 😁
Im setting up a new 55 gal. Does anyone know if I get some completely blue platys and some completely orange platys, will the fry have blue and orange mix on them, or will some be blue and some be orange? Not sure if the alleles are codominant or what, I’ve never owned a livebearer. Loved the vid!
@@ashtonbaehmann7503 ty i figured it out and got a mosquito fish and a pleco in one small tank and 2 gold fish in a separate tank the mosquito fish had babys
They can live together but be careful about shrimps, they should be put in a nano tank. I tried a regular tank and they were stuck in the filter to death
Hey guys, I have a weird case, wonder if anyone can help. I got guppies 3 days ago ,4 girls ,3 boys. But 1 male after a few hours started to swim against the stream near the snap back filter. I have the 6 gallon fluval edge . I had the water there over a month before getting them, added aqua safe and live bacteria. Water tested, the shopkeeper said it is text book perfect. So I’m confused. I didn’t overfeed. Only fed once. And that 1 male literally swam up yeh stream 24/7, not exaggerating, I watched it all day and he spent past 2 days swimming fas up the stream. He was very lively, looked really healthy,no deformations or spots, looked very health. Shopkeeper said he was only 3 weeks old. Anyone every experience this?Should I be worried for the other fish?
So I don’t have fish yet nor do I know much but it might be something with breeding or maybe something he was born with in its brain that you can’t see
Great info. But the editing is weird and in-natural in this particular video.. too much editing and jumping into words with no breath. Still cool info.! Cheers!

My guppies love picking at algae. I put them in a outdoor pond that s full of hair algae and they cleaned it up , I can see the bottom now. Thanks.

I love your videos I always search you up on RUclips when I need to know something about my guppies 👍👍👍👍👍
I fed tropical fish flakes and sprinula flakes and frozen brine shrimp even before watching this!
It's like an aquatic version of lions and tigers and bears.

What frozen food cubes do you get? Would you share the name of your specific product?
Super great & very informational video
Wonderful information as always.
Wonderful comment as always!
Hi from india ♥️
Me sometimes I used garlic juice and put my pellets there and wait to dried up then feed it to my guppies.
So adorable 😍
What do you think about fruit fly (Drosophila) larvae as a source of nutrients for guppies?
Keep it up dude. Happy fish keeping for both of us
Good luck!
Very informative. Thank you

Alyssa Davis I believe some will be blue, and some orange. Not entirely sure
Justin Liao that is what I’m hoping for, thanks for the input
I don't think you'll be getting a mix from what I can remember, normally just some blues and oranges. I think it takes a mutation to create both
KeepingFishSimple are mutations common? I don’t remember much about genes from biology class last year, kind of slept through it 😅
can a guppy it live with a molly and a pleco
The Molly would be a great tank mate idk about plecos tho

Can someone help me with frozen foods. I have seen people say both say thaw or no thaw. Which way is the best?
What stands are your tanks on? Nice simple design.
I built them. Keeping it simple :)
Can guppies live with shrimp? Or do shrimp become food for the guppies?

@@fionahope8988 sponge filter type is safe for dwarf shrimps
I would never put a shrimp in an aquarium specially with guppies they will sit off wait for a fish swim by and pick at them ,
Can you feed cucumbers
If you can't find the frozen food??
Can I isolate 3 pregnant guppies together? Thanks
How about decapped brine shrimp eggs
Yep
Are they better than micro pellets
