i was just about to bid on Necchi 535fa same price, same shipping amount, but I"m passing. I"m waiting on a delivery of a Singer 401a and JCPenny dressmaker ... gonna peruse your videos, thanks
Nice find , i sorta feel like i coppied your video a little lol i found a Nicchi in a thrift store and did a video too , then found this video after , i wasnt looking when i found mine though ..
Ohhh I was in person at a goodwill about 5 yrs ago and bought a Necchi machine. I tried my best to order a manual for it and got hosed more than once after paying for it. Have you had any luck on finding a good source for them?
Although I'm very sorry to hear about it, I am very glad you mentioned about the damage you found on your new Necchi. You are certain it didn't happen when it was packed for shipping? That to me is where faith comes in!🙏
I was able to rig the machine to work with a vintage foot pedal from an old machine. However, I still haven't gotten a proper replacement pedal for it. Thanks for watching.
Necchi is pronounced Neck-ee. (I also mispronounced it for years.) I love your content.
Thanks

No problem. I'm glad you were able to get the 401a and JCPenny dressmaker 🙂

Wow. You've got some beautiful machines there. I just subscribed to your channel.
I think that Necchi is pronounced “Necky”. My mom used to go to the “Necky” store for her sewing service!
Thanks for letting me know this because I've never understood how to pronounce it.

Unfortunately, I haven't found a good source.

It's ok. I don't think it happened in shipping because it was packed so tight. You are right about the faith part!
Did you ever get the pedal replacement?

Online Goodwill is not a good place to buy stuff. Lots of people get cheated there, unfortunately. Lots of complaints, sorry to say.
