One of the main focuses of traditional bonsai work is the slowness and grace of it. Many traditional bonsai workers will tell you that as the bonsai is slow developing to a final product so should be the worker. Very nice tree though.
Pruning, wiring, styling and repotting together on the same day? Ok, me I could'nt make this. The burning question is, " is this tree still alive, now"?
The end result was phenomenal. But I wouldn't have put that tree in a final pot so soon! The root ball was too bound, I'd have developed a more radial root system first for about a year.
xxx52bmo43 Coarse mix, i use 60% coarse pumice with all the fines sifted out, 30% coarse fir bark and 10% coarse horticultural sand. it should drain quickly. best of luck!
A stunning piece of styling. Thank you.

nice but you can do the same work more gentle with the tree, and the earth it´s too hard, need more air...
