This is a very strange and niche video and I’m baffled as to why someone felt so strongly about this man that they would feel compelled to make this compilation but uhh thanks for compiling all his quotes so I could reference them easier for class I guess lol

Mark Simmons is the most qualified guy to speak in this film and was also the one with the least actual screen time.
It makes me think of what Simmons may have said in the full interview, because they don’t only use a tiny amount of his footage - they only use his footage to make him the antagonist.
I’m not saying anything here about my views on SeaWorld. I’m not devoted to any man or corporation. But if you just look up the facts brought up in this film, they allowed too many falsities to get through, and the film itself is trying more to appeal to the viewer’s emotions, rather than have serious discussion about conservation & orca captivity at SeaWorld. To be honest, they probably never wanted a serious discussion, due to the actual subject itself being so complex. They wanted to give a simple answer to a complex question, when in reality, there are no simple answers for things like this.
Anyway, I’m sure many people want to accuse me of working for SeaWorld now, despite having zero connections to this industry as a whole. Cheers.

I disagree. I felt a strong emotional impact from this movie, but I’ve also sought out 2 different books to look into this deeper and I can tell you from my point of view, this man is blinded by his relationship with his job. In almost every single aspect, there is no benefit to captivity, there is nothing but cruelty and suffering for these animals. There is no argument for captivity that is morally or scientifically justifiable. The data is not in your corner, and the morality isn’t either.

I love how they ignorantly ask him about Keto. He is speaking strictly for the park, team, and whales he had years of experience with, as any logical person rightfully should ........
