- Hello everyone! In todays video we're going to be talking about my cat gecko breeding project. I'll be updating you on my baby geckos, my current eggs, my adult geckos and even some future geckos! I want to give you all a nice close look at the babies so you can see how they're developing so far. We're going to be redecorating their enclosures, weighing the geckos and even checking to see if we can determine their sex!

Hi Emma! I breed several different types of geckos/lizards and have a bit of advice for care of your eggs. I don't think you eggs died due to dehydration. They wouldn't have plumped back up AND continued to glow red if they were dead. My guess is you didn't have enough ventilation in whatever container you kept the eggs in and they molded from being too wet. Drill more holes in that container next time to keep them well ventilated! Keep an eye on the moisture/humidity and you should be good! It's definitely possible to plump eggs back up if they get a bit dry, as long as the embryo is still alive. It may take you awhile to know what you're looking for in that aspect, but I've noticed over the years that dead embryos tend to dissipate and look like mush. Healthy embryos look like clear bullyseyes with some veining. If it's dead, it will be blurry and spread out. Hope that makes sense!
Yessss more cat gecko videos!!!!
Yes please to more cat gecko updates 😍
Not sure if it would work for cat gecko eggs but I've seen Snake Discovery use antifungal powder (Miconazole Nitrate I believe) to stop the molding process during incubation and some of those eggs successfully hatched. Might be worth trying 🙂
I would love more content about these guys!

I want a cat gecko, since I can’t have a cat lol
Help! I just had a cat gecko dropped off to me and I think there’s an egg in her enclosure! I messaged the person who dropped them off and she’s saying that it’s likely a bladder stone but I don’t know??? How do I tell???
Do you have available?
Would you be interested in possibly selling a cat gecko ?
