    Those were some nice patterns on those babies. They look like they are doing great and I love the enclosures. As a keeper of primary micro breeds, though, I have to say that those babies were enormous. I think those babies were larger than my largest breed at adulthood, but I'd still love to have one some day when I decide to return to species over ~6cm at adulthood. Watching them move was pretty hypnotic and those patterns. I definitely hope you keep up the effprts and I would love to see more out there. The last reptile show I went to was kind of a disappointment just from a lack of diversity of geckos available that weren't the ones I tend to see everywhere.

      Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed seeing all the babies. Most of my babies have been between 1.5 and 1.8 grams when they’ve hatched out

    They are just the cutest! And so underrated! Just the fact that they can regrow their tail makes them leaps and bounds better then cresties. Congratulations on your amazing breeding season and first go at it too, incredible!

    Hi, Emma! Love watching your videos. Wondering if you can help me with a gecko question... Is there a difference between the dwarf sand gecko and the web-footed gecko? Also do you have a source for them?

    I didn't know there was a type of gecko called cat gecko I am now interested and invested in this and probably gonna do some intense research today! I have a separate research thing I wanted to do with my male ball python too! I plan on finding him a mate and breeding him 💜😎

    I’m curious where they got the name “cat geckos”? Why cat…..any idea?

    • @gratefulmama618
      @gratefulmama618 2 года назад +2

      Its called the cat gecko because it curls up with its tail around itself when it sleeps, like a cat I believe! Plus maybe their claws and eyes?

    • @EmmaLynneSampson
      @EmmaLynneSampson  2 года назад +3

      When they sleep they curl up and hide under their tail like some cats will, and they also have retractable claws like cats do!

    A. stands for Aeluroscalabotes, but i understand you don´t want to break your tongue trying to pronounce their name.
