"emma lynna samspon! one of the most underrates pet youtubers!" love this these types of videos, great way for people to learn about these not so common pets!
Thanks for giving some info about the guys, love the video Emma :) My first ever pet reptile is my chameleon gecko. I've had him for about a year now in a 20 gallon tank. I dont know how old he is, or even if he is a male. He's a rescue and missing one of his feet. He panics every time i try to hold him and seems like he's going to have a heart attack. So i just watch him from afar. Hoping next time my pet will actually want to hang out.
I’m glad they he has a good home with you!! ❤️ you should be able to tell if it’s male or female by looking at the base of his tail. Males have 2 bulges at the base and females have none!
Hi Emma, we have just picked up an 18 month old Bauers and wondered how often do you feed yours. I leave CGD every couple of days and insects (fruit flies, small crickets) twice a week. He seems to enjoy hunting the flies down but would love to know what your feeding routine is. Thank you and love your channel :-)
I was wondering if you could make an in depth video about your bioactive enclosures. I keep killing my plants... dont know what I'm doing wrong and any tips you have would be great.
Excellent informative video as usual! Always good energy...and a very nice voice with great information. One of my favorite You Tubers with the best content.
I’ve got a crested gecko who’s getting a terrarium upgrade, which is leaving me free with a fully set up terrarium perfect for a chameleon gecko! I love the New Caledonia geckos; I’d be delighted to get another and this is a very convincing video for them
love hearing emma talk reptiles and enclosures, her insight into pet care and her experiences/intelligent psyche is so awesome to listen and watch. emma have you ever thought about teaming up with someone or making your own podcast? you know us loyal fans will always support you!!!! we love you emma! god bless you and your family and all your pets!! we love all of them!!! 🥰😇🥰😇🥰😇🥰😇🥰😇🥰😇😇🥰😇🥰😇🥰😇🥰😇🥰😇🥰😇🥰😇🥰😇🥰😇 #RCMP #RCAF #USAF #USMC #NASA #NSA #CanadianSpecialForces #UnitedStatesSpecialForces #Inagawa-Kai-Faction
This was your FINEST vid Emma! OMG you are energetic. And brilliant. I'm a retired biomedical engineer. My opinion? You are: brilliant, energetic, fun, interesting, animated, a gifted speaker and composer of content, you're enthusiastic and inspiring. You have it: camera presence, connection with the cam and audience.. and I ask this of you: educate tomorrow's youth. The little people. You make animal husbandry fun.. and you belong in front of a national or larger audience on (gasp!) cable network television. Or PBS to start. Both. Thank you and be well! :)
I was sold a " baby poor mans leachie " also known as a halmahera gecko I read on lots of research didn't bother to look at many pictures ... I saw your video last night and realized .. I have a juvenile Eurydactylodes .. or known as chameleon gecko. I am not a beginner keeper but definitely disappointed in myself and the seller for giving me misinformation. Very thankful they have very similar care.
You said you offer uvb to them but also feed them Pangea? Doesn’t Pangea have synthetic d3 in it? To my knowledge the Arcadia stickyfoot food is the only gecko food I can find without d3. Shouldn’t it be one or the other. I’m genuinely asking as I’ve just setup a eury myself.
Is the care the exact same as a crested geckos.. And is a crested gecko bioactive kit good. Also can you keep two together and if so what genders ? Are they good beginners
Emma Lynne Sampson I’m from Ireland. Do they need any heat or is room temperature ok for them. And is a bioactive crested gecko kit ok for them. And is the only thing u need to worry abt. Humidity and feeding
They do well at temperatures around 22-27 degrees Celsius so if your house is in that range then no heat is needed. If it’s a bit cooler than that. I don’t know what kit you’re referring to so I can’t really say. Humidity around 50-60% during the day and 80% at night works well.
OMG yes!! Chameleon Geckos are so awesome yet so underrated! Such sweet babies who need to be more well known!
Couldn’t agree more!

IKR
Been looking for a video like this forever!!
I hope you enjoyed it!
My brain was expecting Cuban False Chameleons and I was immensely confused why this looked so different. They're very cute! Thanks for the video
Haha false Chameleons are awesome as well! I’m glad you enjoyed it :)

Just picked one up at repticon and found this vid (: very clear spoken and informative. 🙏
There so tiny but when you get close up to them they look so big
Hahaha is true! They are quite small!

Thank you! I’m glad you enjoy my videos. No promises but a podcast could be in the future 👀
I love your videos so much you give me the best information ever
Thank you! I really appreciate it :)
They are so beautiful. OMG!!! =)
Also my dog's name is Pluto.
You so deserve to get to 100k
They are so cute. Great video.
Do you know if these would thrive well inside of a paludarium? Not much water just enough for shrimp and freshwater snails.
Are you using the compact fluorescent 5.0 UVB? Have you had to add full spectrum or grow lights for your plants?
They are super cute!
One of my favorites.

I have a pair they are some of my favorites I love how they are sometimes active during the day. Which type do you have? Mine are Agricole
Mine are both vieillardi!
hey girly, what lighting do you use to grow the plants?
I just use my UVB lights actually! Nothing else :)
@@EmmaLynneSampson ❤ thank you!!
They really are underrated
can i please have a link to the uvb light you use? and how often do you feed them insects?
I don't provide water to my chewy and leachie because they poop in it then toss it around their enclosure 😂
Awwwww there so cute ❤️
They sure are!
He is so tiny and cute.
Thank you! They sure are :)
I’m just too lazy to give geckos the life they need. They do look cute. I never would have thought of a gecko as a pet ( which is good, see above).
Yes love mine and no one sales them at expos 😢

Oh no! We all make mistakes, I’m glad you were able to recognize it and now know! Hopefully you enjoy your gecko :)
@@EmmaLynneSampson yes same, and shes amazing ! Very calm and allows me to handle with no issues , crawls onto my hand with no issues :)
Can they be kept together? to have a few in the enclosure? Thank you
I'd love one but idk where I'd get one from here
Cool my friend, salam from jakarta
Can Chameleon geckos & House geckos be housed together?
You said you offer uvb to them but also feed them Pangea? Doesn’t Pangea have synthetic d3 in it? To my knowledge the Arcadia stickyfoot food is the only gecko food I can find without d3. Shouldn’t it be one or the other. I’m genuinely asking as I’ve just setup a eury myself.
They can still eat foods that contain D3 even with UVB. You just don’t want to be additionally supplementing it
@@EmmaLynneSampson great, thanks!
Where do you buy them from
How do you keep the glass so clean? My geckos sh*t all over the glass doors 🙄
Just regular cleaning honestly! I wipe the glass down once a week usually
Don’t they need high humidity? They do need heat where I come especially in winter. You need to be more accurate ingiving care info
Is the care the exact same as a crested geckos.. And is a crested gecko bioactive kit good. Also can you keep two together and if so what genders ? Are they good beginners
Yeah their care is basically the same as cresties. I wouldn’t keep multiple together unless you are breeding them
Emma Lynne Sampson I’m from Ireland. Do they need any heat or is room temperature ok for them. And is a bioactive crested gecko kit ok for them. And is the only thing u need to worry abt. Humidity and feeding

Emma Lynne Sampson It’s a crested gecko bioactive kit from joshs frogs. Would that work
Emma Lynne Sampson Also how do you most them Like how many times. Sorry to bother you with all these questions
Where you get youR chameleon gecko?
Does anybody know what species are the chameleon geckos featured in the video? E. agricolae or E. vieillardi?
I think E.vieillardi
Where can I get a female eurydactylodes agricolea that I dont have to pay an arm an a leg for can someone help me out
i want one so bad
They’re incredible!
💚💚
So... What your saying is that this is a smaller, more affordable Chahoua gecko.
WELP I'M SOLD.
I ADORE my chameleon gecko. He is not as tame as yours lol.
Thank you! Hopefully yours will get there!
Show me a camelion geko egg and baby on RUclips
I got 2 today!
Congrats!
My crestie doesn't care about insects
A 12' x 12' Exo-Terra terrarium is great for housing medium sized homosapiens.
Where you at?! I hope you didn't go back to that deadbeat bf lol
I need more of your brilliant videos? How's life in the new crib?
So little views
