50 ton on a B train. We in southwestern Ontario during wheat, barley, mix grain, soybean, corn harvest I'd be putting on nearly 30 ton on a tri-axle truck. Call it good
@@mrconductor144 1/2 way thru the season pick now. End of Oct is the cutoff, or if and when it freezes, then you MUST pick and haul the corn or the kernels turn black. 10 days after the first freeze, then it's non-sale. It goes for silage then and the farmers gets his whimpy, barely survivable(here), Ins check. Pissed off farmers then!!. Scored some 1/2 burlap bags of super sweet white small peg, to hand out to friends. Not supposed to climb into the trailers, but field boss kept an eye, on night shift. I grabbed him some as well. Also some baseball/softball sized Walla Walla sweet white onions, picked off the ground as discards while I waited to load. Massive hrs, I'm over already and it's not 1/2 thru the week it seems. I used to load Up Canadian B train flatbeds that came down from BC, with treated metric beam lumber to go back.
@@kh40yr I'd say 90% through barley and wheat now. Be around the end of September for beans (IPs and crusher beans) than late September or early October corn till end of November. Last year we seen rain from the first week of October till the last week of October, so pushed corn till late November.
@@kh40yr and ya 15 hour days 70 a week. Made sure you had your regular deliveries done before 3 or 4pm because you know the farmer was calling the elevator at 5pm looking for trucks because my waggons are full. I was with a famer all day 15 hours just hauling corn moved somewhere like 110 to 120ton (metric tons)
Lol I love those two
Kaleb is the older brother Clarkson never had
This is a fascinating turn from driving over-powered and over-priced mechanized bellands...
Anyone know what music that is at 1.18?
This farming equipment is very impressive. 200 years ago, 4 in 5 of us would be out gathering this shit by hand.
These two crack me up...
God I loved this series
Epic.....just epic 😂😂😂👍
0:37 does the moisture analyser have a 'rape' category?
I tried watching Clarkson's Farm and quickly discovered that the best way to view it is via the best bits videos on RUclips. There's a lot of filler in the episodes.
This show was so much better to watch than anything the grand tour has ever done... these last grand tour episodes have been terrible.
These shows are so much more pleasurable to watch than the crap on TV. series 2,3,4,5, etc please.
i miss Jeremy and the other guys. wish they would get there shows back.
Where I live grain is trucked directly to large silo's . Then sold from there at the current price . Some farmers elect to store some grain in their own silos and wait for better prices . I am sure that this video is a bit exaggerated for dramatic purposes .
1:17 for Awesome Farming Music
Love it, more more more
Don't you get grain dams in England? It's much cheaper than silos: it's basically an iron mesh wherein a sail fits. Dump the grain in there and pull a sail over it. Otherwise you could always get a sail and simply build a dam out of the bales you've got and pull a sail over it...
Not allowed in Great Britain anymore
.... Why?
I swear to god Gerald speaks by reading out QR codes
Farmer clarkson
Jeremy just put Caleb in charge, and you will have to be the Owner/Gofa for a year or two , be funny as , keep up the good work, its a good watch , cheers
If Jezza gets it right one day I'd love to see it also one cool idea would be Jezza calling Wychood and delivering to them
