The RUclips algorithm brought me here. The resolution of that telescope is mind blowing. Magnificent job on the pictures too
Thanks!
Excellent images. Great set up and I appreciate the detail to your rig. And remember..."seeing" is everything. And where I live I might get 4-5 nights a year of great seeing.
It is said that seeing is bad in Japan, where I live, even from a global perspective. Overcoming tube current etc. and waiting for a good air flow in the sky.
AWESOME WORK!
Thanks!
Your live views are better than most people’s stacked images! Amazing job 🎉
Thanks!
It’s ok! I’d love to see your live views of Mars. Most people find it a bigger challenge as Mars is usually blurry in live view…..
One of the best Planetary images I have ever seen. Best work.
Regards from India
Thank you, I will do my best to shoot the high resolution planet.
@@SuperRbstar that's great. Waiting for more awesome images 😊🙏🏻
@@StardustAstronomy Thanks, I'll do my best.
For anyone wondering.......thats well over 10 grand just in scope and cameras........that things a beast.
My C14 is a used one made in 1988. I only buy OTA and the price is not 10 grand.
@@SuperRbstar a 14" celestron sells new for 6000 right now. Along with mount and cameras your over 10 grand. Dont hand me that shit.
@@sketch6995 Don’t insult the guy. He commented that he paid 3k for the used scope and built his own mount. In my book that deserves nothing but a LOT of respect.
I’m glad I was able to see your rig. You always have the best planets on RUclips.
Thanks!
I searched „beginner astronomy turtorial“ and found this 😂😂😂
Thanks!, I'm pleasure to be of some help.
Congratulations on such stunning pictures and sharing your work with Us.
Thanks!
Woww! That telescope sure is serious! Those arw some pictures very detailed for an amateur astrophotographer! Great job
Thanks!
Great job man! I ve watched tons of astrophotography but you vid is woooow ! Love it ❤❤❤❤
Thanks!
It is very nice work. Just one question: why do you do derotation on the images from the colour camera? I had assumed derotation was only necessary for the RGB images from a mono camera. The frame rate is so high that I did not think there would be significant rotation with a colour camera.
Thanks!, Color CMOS cameras capture in front of and behind monochrome CMOS cameras for LRGB compositing.
My LRGB composition is RGB acquisition with a one-shot color CMOS camera, not RGB acquisition with a monochrome CMOS camera. That's because it's easier than shooting separately with R, G, and B filters with a monochrome CMOS camera. The capture time is short.
Many frames are needed to represent a high-resolution planet. Since the rotation can be corrected by Derotation, it is possible to capture for a longer time.
@@SuperRbstar Thank you for the clarification. I saw you had a filter wheel installed so I assume you used RGB with the monochrome camera. Do you just use an L filter for both the colour and mono imaging? Are the two cameras at the same focus or you have to refocus when you flip between them?
@@douglassmith1215 I have a filter wheel, but I only use the L filter for monochrome and color CMOS cameras for color photography for LRGB compositing.
Switching between a monochrome CMOS camera and a color CMOS camera uses a flip mirror, but it is not completely in focus. Every time I capture, I focus while watching the planet displayed on the PC monitor.
Just beautiful, some of the best I have ever seen. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks!
Absolutely amazing footage and pictures.
I would call your telescope level: WOW👌
Thanks!
Amazing work! The seeing and transparency is also very good. This is from Osaka?
Thanks!, Yes, it's Osaka, Japan.
Amazing images and a very good work! LRGB technique delivers better resolution than RGB imaging, with the same setup, but two questions are puzzling me: both cameras have different pixel and sensor size. Assuming that the focal length of the telescope is the same, can only Winjupos match the two images, or do you need another software? And, a flip mirror is a third optical element between one of the two cameras, so: has a special optical quality or is the original mirror? Thanks and congratulations for your work!!
Tanks!, The image size differs depending on the cell pitch of the sensor, but WinJUPOS composition overcomes the size difference. You can also change the image size in Photoshop. However, the LRGB composition I am doing is different from the change of only the G image of WinJUPOS. In Japan, software that distributes the brightness information of L images into three colors, R, G, and B, is used.
The flip mirror is a commercially available one. It's right in front of the camera, so I don't think it needs much accuracy.
Very grateful for your response, I have seen the images that you upload to the Alpo Japan website (where I also collaborate with my contributions) and they stand out for their quality. A cordial greeting!
@@Sentoplanets Thanks!, Let's do our best so that we can get a wonderful image of the planet.

ありがとうございます。おだてすぎです(笑)
Stunning! This truly show you get what you pay for.
How has this guy only got 288 subscribers?
Thanks!, I will do my best so that more people can see it.
THATS SO COOL, ITS A VERY GOOD TELESCOPE!
Thanks!
Speachless!
Please enjoy BGM.
With that get up, you should be able to see the structures on the moon. I know someone with a 14" that can.
Thank you for your comment. I'll do my best.
Imagenes espectaculares, excelente trabajo, felicitaciones!!!
Thanks!
Oh man! super cool
Thanks!
Nice presentation, thank you!

Nice work brother
very Nice
Thanks!
Awesomeness my friend
Thanks!
Super, the best!
Thanks!
It's mind blowing!!
Thanks!
Is there any digital zoom or is that the magnification you would actually see in the eyepiece?
Thanks!, There is no digital zoom, but you can view it on the PC capture screen. The details won't come out without the help of image processing software. Even if I looked through a telescope visually, I would not be able to see this much detail.
@@SuperRbstar I've been thinking about buying a telescope. But if the image quality from even the most expensive don't come close to processed images then maybe astronomy isn't for me.
@@pmcate2 The resolution of a telescope is determined by its aperture. I think it's best to enjoy the best of the telescope you use.
Gorgeous images! Where's Mars??? LOL.
Thanks!, If it ’s Mars in 2020, it ’s going up.
Is Celestron C14 telescope better than Celestron 14 edge hd?!
I don't have the edge hd1400, but if I look at the results of my fellow edge hd1400, I don't think the resolution will change.
wow!
Thanks!
Congratulations for your awesome job.
Thanks!
Your the best omg c14 ? Wow
If the seeing is good, this will look normal.
@@SuperRbstar why you have two fan intake on your c14 ?
Is it to cool down the mirrors ?
@@maikdean8490 This is to eliminate the deterioration of the planetary image due to the airflow inside the optical cylinder.
@@maikdean8490 By cooling the primary mirror and, importantly, by stirring the air inside the lens barrel with different temperatures, the air inside the lens barrel is made uniform. By making it uniform, the optical disturbance in the optical lens barrel is reduced as much as possible.
Super !
Thanks!
0:33 what is the music to this?
Thanks!, This BGM is "February Rain: nigatsunoame" from BGM Free Site.

Why Jupiter is upside down?
Thanks!, Japan, where I live, is located in the northern hemisphere, and when viewed through an astronomical telescope, the north and south (up and down) appear upside down, with the south facing up. The south side of the image is at the top because I took the photo according to how I actually see it.
While it is true that it takes some money to produce images like that, the time, for planning, imaging, post production time, determination, are much more important. You could give this equipment to a thousand people and very few would succeed at this level. sketch 6995 must not be from these parts........ rude.
High-resolution planetary photography technology is open to the public, and anyone can learn this technology.
I don't understand the meaning of Sketch 6995.
Wow! Can you get Venus and Saturn kissing on December 10, 2019? 😁💜🗝
Thank you, unfortunately I can't see the low southwest sky.
Price ?
Is it the price of my C14? My C14 was a used one made in 1988 for about $ 3,600. In Japan, it is about twice as expensive as in the United States.
Is it my idea or are the images reversed?
Does "reversed?" Indicates a statue of Mars with the south facing up? In Japan in the Northern Hemisphere, Mars seen through an astronomical telescope is on the south side.
👏👏👏👏👏👍
Thanks!
Very nice!!!
Thanks
Jesus that's one expensive setup, easily 10 k right?
I bought my Celestron C14 second hand made in 1988. It was about $ 3000. The equatorial mount is my own work.
Nice
Thanks!
very good
Thanks
Tanto con questi giocattoli non si vede niente.......
Non credo che ci siano molti giocattoli che sembrano così belli.
😲😲😲 👍🙋♂️🇭🇷
Thanks!
Amazing what $30k worth of gear gets you.
Thanks!, I bought C14 second-hand in Japan, so it's 1/10th of that price.
