- Another song from the famous guest appearance of Jeff Beck during Bowie's last performance as Ziggy Stardust with improved superb sound
R.I.P. Jeff Beck Видеоклипы
You gotta love those old 70's concert films when the camera men had no idea who they were suppose to be filming.
So true!! LOL!!!
@@beachcomber4141 No crap. Beck was putting on a guitar clinic and the camera was focused on Ronson playing rhythm. RIP, Jeff.
Hard to Believe this is Half a Century ago. And only Woody left now . R.i.p Mick, Trevor, David and Jeff ❤❤
This is just a absolute gem of a find. Bowie at his Pinnacle as a Rocker. RIP Jeff Beck. You were One of a kind ✨ 💛
So many true musical legends all on one stage, Bowie, Mick,Trevor, Jeff and the one still thankfully still with us, Woody,,,,,pure Magic ❤, the world is a sadder place without these giants with us, thanks for all that they left us to still enjoy 😢
Jeff Beck, David Bowie and Mick Ronson RIP and thank you for your music....thanks for uploading !!!
And Trevor Bolder Too 😢
Mick Ronson, guitar hero to many, on stage with HIS guitar hero, Jeff Beck. The clip that Beck suppressed for years because he was not happy with his playing...
Three legends...Bowie, Beck, Ronson.....check out Ronson's "Sweet Dreams"....studio or live....a virtuoso performance of a brilliantly arranged and interpreted song...Rono was on the same level....a master.
Cheers. Will do

The like of these three legends, Bowie, Mick Ronson and Jeff Beck will will never see again. I can't believe as a 13 year old kid I turned going to this gig down.
I had Tickets to See Bowie in 1990 and didn't go. But You Missed out More the Spiders were in another League to Tin Machine
Yeah right 😂😂😂
Congrats to all who were in the audience that night because you just witnessed and heard the ultimate culmination of what this thing we call Rock and Roll has ever accomplished.
How cool to see Bowie looking on in disbelief as Beck played through the talk box! This is several years before Frampton popularized that device. As another comment said, three legends! Beck, Bowie, and Ronson!! All in Rock and Roll Heaven, A trippy side note for this video is both Bowie and Beck died on the same day 7 years apart. January 10th is a shit day.
Bowie seems like a totally different person than the guy we saw in 1978 . What a mysterious guy !
Beck and Bowie were a lot alike in that they kept changing themselves. Bowie would change his entire persona while Beck would constantly change his guitar style. Neither one ever resting on their laurels.
True, JK. Bowie was the ultimate Rock chameleon.
Rip Jeff and David you are playing again together
Still playing the Gibson, Strat cam shortly after and stayed with him ever since. Rest In Peace Mr. Beck, you left too soon...
And I think Beck was still using a pick, when he went to the Strat it was all fingers and Whammy Bar
@@jennifersman7990 i think u r right but you can still hear Jeff in those licks ... article i read many years ago Jeff said he always had a tele laying around but kept losing his picks and finally said fuck it and just played with his fingers
Now that's entertainment 🎶🎵🎶❤️
RIP JEFF DAVID MICK TREVOR 🫂❤️🙏
Ziggy was by far the best stage performer to ever rock this planet.
On opposite day
I am thrilled to see Bowie and Jeff of 73 years of sharpness. Thank you for uploading.
The whole world mourns the huge loss of one of the most unique and legendary musical talents...ever!!
WOW. And here I thought I had seen every Bowie video.
Qué total es todo lo de Bowie ❤
Man, I wish I could have attended this show. Jeff Beck sure nailed it as usual.❤😢
Great! Simply the best!
simplemente,ROCK.
JUST WOAW !!!! 👍👍👍👍👍
Unseen for my,marvellous.
Still cant quite believe all these legends have gone now (apart from Woody) This is one gig I would have absolutley love to have gone to. I have been to Hammersmith Odeon many times and always think of this historic moment in Bowies career. There is never a day that goes by when I dont play or think of him, he was a huge part of our youth and for that I am grateful that I shared the same time on this planet as him.
Very awesome. Thank you!
Brilliant piece of R-n-R history this! Came to pay tribute to Jeff Beck and to never forget David Bowie. Round and Round goes the Great Concert Hall in the Sky. Can't even imagine what the two of them are up to right now!! Seems like old times. RIP lads!!
Mick Ronson was one of the best rock guitar players in the world. Bowie should have kept him around.
He did. In a kinda-sorta way. By taking under his wing, & touring with, a band by the name of Mott the Hoople in '71, which Ronson became a member of after his split with Bowie in '73.
Bowie wrote their highest charting song. ('72. 'All the Young Dudes'. Pre-Ronson)
Ian Hunter also recognized Ronson's talent.
After the the demise of the Hoople in late '74/early '75, the two collaborated on each other's solo efforts. Ronson remained Hunter's guitar player on tour & in the studio, until he passed in '93.
IMHO, that Hunter/Ronson collaboration allowed Ronson to be able to express himself more freely than under the guidelines that The Spiders had to adhere to in accordance to Bowie's vision.
Still...he was/is so-o-o under-rated.
@@sewlow58 I saw an interview on late night TV with Bowie and when asked about Ronson, Bowie responded something along the lines of Bowie was disappointed in Ronson that he never made it huge. Something like he certainly had the talent (without a doubt!) but he never really went for it. I am not doing a great job at paraphrasing here, but I found it interesting that Bowie felt that way. It is questionable that Bowie would have become BOWIE without Ronson.
If you read Mick's autobiography you will read about 4 times DB tried to get Mick involved in various tours but, Mick turned him down each time preferring to play the smaller, more intimate, club shows of the Hunter/Ronson tours versus a big tour in front of thousands on a grueling World Tour with Bowie. Of the 4 offers that I thought would have been the most interesting to experience was 1990's Sound & Vision tour where Bowie went back to basics doing his back catalog with just a small band, Ronson was his first choice, after he turned it down, Adrian Belew was his 2nd choice and the rest, as they say, is history. I was happy that DB & Mick were back working together the year before Mick's passing and appeared on each others solo albums around this time, Heaven and Hull & Black Tie, White Noise. The fact that they were working together made it easier for Bowie & Ian Hunter to get him to agree to appearing at the Freddie Mercury Benefit Show. This would be the last time he performed in public and how fitting to play with both Bowie and Ian Hunter in front of millions around the Globe via satellite, a fitting send off for an exceptional musician. 🎸⚡👩🎤💜
@@michaelabbott516 NICE!!!!
No he did the right thing. Ronson wouldn't have been able to play on Young Americans, Station to Station or Low.
jeff beck emotive and dextrous - never knew he was one of the first to use the talk box - man its always a pleasure when it makes a 'rare' appearance ( in this case unexpected ) x.
Grandes guitarras para un super lider Bowie
So great. What a gift. Thank you.
To Masters RIP ❤️🙏💫
It would be nice to see these numbers with Jeff Beck cleaned up and HD'd.
Yes it would
Heaven had them.... Crazy! R.I.P DB and JB
Too cool, man!
Both anniversaries same day 10th Jan 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Isn't that a trip!
Another fine example of the cameraman missing (most of the) solo
LOL!! Right?!?! RUclips banned a comment I made on a Hendrix link (Rainbow Bridge) that I wanted to burn the cameraman alive for shooting the audience while Jimi was playing this mind altering solo. Every now and then they got it right, but most of the time they didn't!
rip the golden age as the darkness closes in i gots some real good memories... fanx for the upload
Bowie let Beck and Ronson shine.
Wow! Superb!
I do not remember it this hot !!!
❤
Rip David and Jeff
Both of those 🐈 cats are in+ Rock & Roll Heaven now.....
And you know rock and roll heaven has a hell of a band!
I believe this is when zggy announced the break up with spiders?? Not sure, same outfit...
Same night. Beck said he didn’t know the gig was being filmed & vetoed his performance.
All gods. All dead. RIP. You are missed.
C'est vraiment dommage que Jeff beck soit presque pas filmée
Demasiado
Boss
Jeebus this is great 👍
コレは凄い!!
トーキングモジュってるやん!!!
永久保存決定!!!
I still find it hilarious when the person doing the filming doesn't know how to find who is playing the solos when they happen. Hint: The one that sounds like Jeff Beck is the one who is playing like Jeff Beck!
Dem wus the daze.... Wo Man !
David Bowie & Jeff Beck both passed away on January 10th.
Never seen this before,so why was it edited out of the video/dvd release?.
Heh...Trevor appears all, "I'm _trying_ to work here!"....
shyt camera work, never let a guy near a camera who does not know how to play a guitar, dude that was Jeff Beck, film him, love the Boo. and Mick R
Chuck L You listening ?
Bowie should have retained Ronson for Diamond Dogs .
The ameba...
Jeff Beck great guitarist, but it is good to see him really let loose on this. I guess being up against Ronson made him up his game. I wish he'd played with this sort of fire throughout his career.
Ronson is not in the same league as Jeff beck
Are you serious??? HE DID!!!!!!!
Lennon was right. Ziggy and Glam rock was just rock n'roll with lipstick...
LOL! I almost commented the same thing!
Bowie always surrounded himself with vastly more talented sidemen and producers to make his empty theater/characters whatever more palatable. Jeff was a natural choice...
It's good, but the Stones do a much better cover of this Chuck Berry classic.
Gefällt mir gar nicht dieser Bowie. Singt nicht gut und die Musik ist so old fashioned. Chameleon. Mysteriös.
this singer and maneskin are the same! shame on them
Somebody sounds horribly out of tune.
