I’ve been listening to Jeff’s music for over 50 years & my jaw still drops when I hear a solo like this. RIP Jeff Beck, thanks for giving us so much good music.
In 1968 I was 16 and saw him at a hippy place on Miami Beach called Thee Image. Yardbirds had broken up and he introduced his new lead singer, MR. Rod Stewart!! Concert was $1.50, the house band was The Blues Image featuring Mike Pinera. Great times👍👍🤠 and just 3 months later saw Jimmie Page and Led Zepplin at Pirates World for $2.50!!!!
It's so surreal to think that Jeff Beck is gone..... he always appeared to be in great shape and healthy looking and his passion for music was intact and strong as ever...the grim reaper is wielding a cursed scythe this year
@@RedroomStudios Because he had great impact on many many people around the world. People are just sad, thats why. Also, he was in super good shape and very healthy but died from something any 18 year old could've died from, what made his passing very surprising and "shocking" for that matter.

Jeff Beck’s solo work always seemed to have a sense of danger to it. He was never going to rest on a series of cliches to get by. Always experimental, creative, high energy, and stunning listeners from stuff out of left field. Vai’s creativity and confidence, Hendrix’s edginess, and a totally unique approach to the right hand … that’s what Beck sounds like to me.
Took my step-daughter to see Jeff Beck and ZZ Top on this tour. After the show I told her in Jeff Beck she just saw the greatest guitar player, and that was the best show she would ever see.

The first time I heard Beck's Bolero within months of the release of his "Truth" album in the late 1960's I was hooked!! If you haven't heard that album give your self a real treat. Rod Stewart was the vocalist and he did Willie Dixon's "I Aint Superstitious" which is on that album. Check it out!!!
Wow! My friends and I have followed Jeff and went to his shows for many years. He’s always been amazing. Didn’t expect to see him rockin’ out with ZZ Top! What a treat!
When Dusty Hill and Billy Gibbons stop doing their performances to watch someone else play on stage... priceless. That's Jeff Beck. Rest in peace brother. See you soon.

this is my all time fave ZZ Top number. As to the exalted master of the Strat (and the Tele & Les Paul and pretty much anything else with a pickup and six strings), Jeff Beck - my theory is that at some point, probably quite early on, the electric guitar became less of an instrument and more of an appendage to him. It was part of his body. I think of Hendrix in the same vein. There are others, but it was these two that built the foundation back in '65, '66 and '67.
MASSIVE loss. Beck could ... and did! ... play ANYTHING. Absolute legend. RIP to a true master.
I miss ol Dusters and Jeffe de Guitarra. May God grant our aching hearts the rest of peace.
His greatest skill and greatest gift was his imagination regarding what could come out of his guitar!
RIP Jeff Beck.Legend.

Tough to lose one of your idols from childhood. Jeff was truly a legend.
Heard about this yesterday, remember him from Yardbirds.
Obviously not my quote, but so accurate: "If there's a rock n roll heaven, you know they've got a hell of a band."
May Jeff and Dustin rest in heavenly peace! Their music will never be forgotten!!
Dusty too.
