I get goosebumps as Angela Okorie talks. The way she carries herself is a combination of being mad and able to control your madness. I respect her from the point she opens her mouth to talk. I hope to meet her in person and hopefully she mentors me.

Nedu should learn that being the loudest in the room doesn’t mean you’re the most correct, you must not be the most talkative. There’s is power in listening, he needs to learn to not talk over others.

According to what Nedu said about how he learnt from his parents, it is not every child that will be able to learn good/proper thing in the presence of the wrong think he/she is seeing from their parents. Nedu was able to learn those things that made him a good man he is today because he is wise and he already must have learnt from his parents somehow on how to pick good out of bad/wrongs. It only takes a child filled with wisdom to do that. Thank you. I love y'all and I love this topic. Cheers 🥂

parents, in as much as you don't want to provoke or irritate your children, learn to correct your children and let them feel the seriousness, let them see the reason why they need to change and make improvement for the better.
Nowadays its common to see people that are wrong, but they dont want to be corrected.

My mum is my role model
She's brave, fearless and she doesn't take shit from anybody uptill now
Am so thankful to her for bringing up a good girl, I pray my junior siblings will be good too, in my school girls brag of iPhone, big things and so many still it doesn't push me cos I believe all this will be with me someday
I bought my first Android phone with my hard earned money from a company I worked for after my secondary School each time I remember that it gives me alot of courage and am brave to say it even when others will be like " I can't do that with my money" I wonder how they get it
Even when my friends will be like this your hair is somehow ain't you seeing others how they look, I don't mind cos that kind of hair is not my mate,,,,,, let me stop here
I will have all I want when I start working hard.
To my fellow girls let's be patient and never pressure yourself over certain things
    That's my believe

There are so many factors we need to consider when it comes to parenting. Nowadays, a lot of people are not fit to be called mothers and fathers because they gave birth at a very tender age and they lack the knowledge and experience of raising a child.
Having said that, the fact that you raised your children so we'll doesn't mean they won't experiment, they sure will but whatever knowledge you've imparted in them as parents would never leave them and would manifest someday 💯.

''NO BE ERVERY MAMA WEY BORN PIKIN BE MAMA'' Another legit topic this week.
Home training matters a lot. we shouldn't be having this mentality that this is a newer generation it should be done different, home training matters, especially what we are been exposed to in the public nowadays or people we sit with to have convo.
Learning is not an issue but making use of it to an ultimate peak is an issue, the difference between YOU and I is the ability to do things in an unimaginable way from a small circle being poised.
    God bless you guys always.

One thing I wish is that Nedu can stop cutting people short or talking over people it is really rude, classless and distasteful, it reeks of arrogance and lack of social etiquette discipline. I wish the others can stand their ground. We know he is the boss but respect knows no level or status everyone deserves it. Please and thank you. Its enough. This is more like a nature vs nurture debate. Immediately after birth, the environment takes hold a of a child. Vicarious learning, learning by association, learning by reward and punishment. It’s just unfortunate that parents don’t have 100% control to what the child learns. They can only lay the basis. I really enjoyed this podcast. Big ups guys

There is something Angela Okorie said. She said something, she said if parents give their children everything they will be contented. But I disagree. Even if a parent gives a child everything, if the child choose not to be contented he or she won't be contented. Contentment comes from the mind.
Some parents taught their children well but some of their children chose to be wayward.

I totally agree with you ooo, I have like 10 examples of personal experience. Because almost everyone here saying Angela is right and Noone is really looking at the other side of her words.... she's very strict with her child but she doesn't know that out of curiosity her son may experiment with everything she's preaching on this platform. One of my favorite teacher will say, children are here to be nurtured not for training.. but we as blacks believe in sparing the rod and spoiling the child but forgot the trauma it causes after the beating and shouting ... the only thing we can do is give lessons to our children like you said it depends on that child to choose what he/she wants and we as parent because we love them unconditionally then we still accept them nonetheless. This is my opinion though, doesn't mean am the correct one just opening another side of the conversation...how I wish I can call into the program and give Angela some advice. La

I pray make God give me money make i sponsor stuff like this 🙏
I dont know Nedu's whole love story but regardless i know he means well for women and i respect him for that.

Good topic. Good conversation. One correction - not every school in the western world has a curriculum on LGBTQ. Some school are sneaking it in so you have to keep your eyes on what your kids are learning. Attend open houses at the beginning of each school to find out what would be taught.
We’ve been lucky we haven’t had to fight our kids schools on such topics. We’ve lived in multiple states in the U.S.

There is nothing anybody wants to tell me. I don't watch podcast on a norms. But since I started watching TBH, I have learnt a lot. And I am stocked with this programme. There's no episode that was not educating and entertaining. Nedu, Husband material, Toun and Ezinne, thank you for this dream of creating THB.

I have been a fan from season 1 Ep 1
Seriously I think the internet has taken the place because the parents fail to create this close parents - children relationship in which the children can confide and role model them so the children are tend to learn anytime the see on internet.
As a child they are plain books the job is to raise them with LOVE NOT WITH RESENTMENT
some parents don't even know what parenting is

    This episode is so interesting!!!!
But kai egbon nedu allow others to talk
You dey give valuable information tho
But others need to be given more room to share their own thoughts abeg
Give others chance would be more fun for everyone to talk equally.
    Thank you guys ❤️❤️
And the guest was so interesting omo
She’s full of High spirit and intelligent
